Armaan got up the next morning hearing a disturbance outside his room. He looked around to find the source and found akhil all ready in his uniform and packing his school bag. "Sorry didn't mean to wake u up" he said finding armaan there standing looking at him curiously. "I was getting ready for school" he added finally closing his bag. "Hmm.." armaan just nodded to him. "How do you plan to go to school ?" he asked as he thought of his school. "Mom told me the bus I need to get or I wuld take an auto" akhil stated moving towards the door not even looking at him. "Wait , hmm.. I will drop u" armaan said taking his car keys. They drove to his school as akhil directed armaan. They didn't talk anything except that. "Thankyou for dropping me" akhil said as he got down the car. "Hmm'.. tell me when ur school ends. I will pick u up" armaan asked getting down moving towards him."2'o clock"akhil said."Bye"he waved back and moved towards the school. "Bye" armaan murmered to himself slightly lifting his hand to wave him bye. He looked around to find many children running towards the school . many parents there to drop their children kissing them good bye.

He saw a father carefully setting his son down from the car helping him with bag saying him good things, how to behave moving him towards the school. Finally reaching the school he kissed his son and wished him good day for him.

"How was your school" armaan asked as they were having dinner. Armaan received akhil from school at two and left him at home and went back to his office. Akhil looked around the home for the first time he came there. He looked around the lawn which was beautifully made, he totally ignored armaan's room. He was a complete stranger to akhil. He never saw armaan, never talked to him. akhil never missed his father for his mother took care of his every need.. he had never felt the need of father,never thought of a father until he saw his friends father play with them. He then desired for such a person but after his mother talked about her marriage failure he felt that he was unfortunate to not have a normal family like others. But he was happy with his mother. He never thought of his father ,his mother hasn't said anything against his father, she just said he was averse of being into any kind of relationships. He didn't want his father to be compelled into any relationship with him.

He perfectly understood that every person has his own thoughts and beliefs and it was no use trying to change them. They have to realize things for themselves, amend themselves to the situations, then only the change wuld be forever otherwise once compelled they may be back to their ownself in no time.

"I hate him mom" he remembered the bitter words he has said to his mom before arrival to his father' s house. But to be truthful to himself he never thought of his father to hate him. he didn't knew anything about his father to hate him. his father wasn't cruel, or abused his mother, wasn't addicted to any bad things. It was only that god has forgotten to set few emotions in him, god forgot to insert in him the basic necessity to live as human, that was relations and love. he was distant from him as armaan was, there was nothing in it to be bothered abt his mental state. He was perfectly alright with the situation he was in. he didn't want armaan to be bothered by him, armaan was free to live his life. Also he felt that his stay with his father in this house was only for few days, developing a bond or observing,him so much,feeling his presence in his life, having him too much around him, depending on armaan wuld only hurt him. he wuld never meet his father again after these five days. It wuld hurt him to be used to armaan's presence around him. so he was trying to be as far as possible from armaan, not getting too much attached with him, with the house,things in it that he wuld suffer after wards. He was spending as much time as possible away from the surrounding immersed in his bookish fantasy world. He was getting used to the solitude and he was loving it .

"Good" akhil answered backing looking at his plate. Armaan looked over at him he observed the way akhil conducted himself before him. he was always conscious of his presence, stayed glum and answered him in monosyllables. He was sure, riddhima told akhil about him and akhil had some bad notions abt him. akhil disliked him. akhil surely thought that his father was a heartless man, never been by his side, armaan thought to himself. But it wasn't going to shake him. he has long back decided to not get into any relation except the one's he had then. He was with his mom and dad and it was enough for him. he cared for them and he felt it was enough. But his parents forced another relation on to him, which he was not ready to accept and he admonished . It was simple. He never knew why he wasn't interested in relations, wasn't he aware what to do with relations.

Even now he culdn't accept riddhima to be a part of his life. Even the fact that he has a child with her culdn't make him accept her or akhil. He put his head in his hands as he saw akhil leave the hall bidding him goodnight. He remembered his chat with riddhima, the day she left akhil with him.

"hmm'." She nodded.

"when?" a confused armaan asked.

"u were drunk" she replied nonchalantly.

"is it the reason u decide for the divoice?" he asked. Everything becoming clear to him now.

"yes" she said looking at him.he looked at her waiting for he continue. She understood it . sighing she continued. " see armaan, I don't want to blame u or anyone for this. U didn't like me, u never loved me. U were forced into the relationship. I understand that. U were not connected to marriage. I understand that . so u left me alone, neglected me alone. I understand that. But I had lived with this rejection, neglection for life just for our families, as they were important for me. But when I came to know of akhil in me. I knew u wuld never accept him as u never accepted me. I didn't want him to face rejection and neglection I faced, I felt. Think armaan how much it wuld have affected him being in this house seeing u here, but not able to talk to u. how culd he have beared ur indifference. It wuld have broken him mentally. I culdn't let this happen to him. I culdn't be able to see if it ever happened. So I left u. I was sure it wulnd't bother u, but it meant a lot for me." She said it politely but not blaming him or cursing him.

"Do our parent's know abt him?" he asked, , he felt that their parents didn't know abt him otherwise they wuld have talked to him into the relation, be happy crying with happiness to get her back.

"NO. I never told our parents becoz I felt we wuld be forced into this relationship more then. Only my sister anjali knows. She is ok with my decision. " she said echoing his thoughts moving out of the room to akhil..

He was getting mad with all the thoughts , how riddhima gave too much to the relationship, but he wasn't able to. Why was he like this. He culdn't understand. He knew how soft childrens were and he never hurts them. And he didn't want to hurt akhil. But what was he to do.
