"Nupur….." he said watching her walk upto her bed and sit. "I….. ummm….." he said sitting on the bed too. "Ok, listen so about everything that's been going on lately, I just want to—" he began but he was cut off by her " Mayank just let me say this first and let me say this quick…. If your thinking that we are back together, then your wrong…. I know I sort of…. Uhhh…. Overreacted and I never really gave you a chance to say anything and all… but this doesn't mean that I forgive you for that night…wait let me finish" she quickly said when she saw mayank open his mouth to speak but ended up giving out only air.

"So like I was saying…. I don't know if things will work out between us… I mean you don't even love me mayank! You know its hard for a girl to have a relationaship with a guy who clearly says that he doesn't love her!" she said now on the verge of tears.

"No, no baby… its not--" he said taking her hands. "What mayank?! Whats your explaination now?" she said now with tears continuously rolling down her cheeks. "Please, no, nupur, don't cry" he said now pulling her closer to him and wiping her tears with his thumb. And he eventually ended up hugging her as she placed her hands around his waist and buried her face in his chest and he placed his hands on the back of her head.

" You know very well nupur that you're the only person who I care about to the extremes… I have never…. never in my entire life felt so strongly for anybody, please, please don't cry baby…." He said with being on the verge of tears himself. "Look, nupur, look at me" he said now taking her face in his hands. She slowly looked at him. "I have been wanting to say this for so long, I mean since you just decided to ruthlessly leave me I…. I felt helpless nupur….. you were the only person who I found my everything in…. and when you decided to just leave me…. I didn't know what to do nupur….. I was destroyed…. My life's in you now, nupur…. And.. and if you leave me I don't know if I'll be able to live…. The past months have been like living in hell nupur……if you… if you don't get back with me nupur then… then I'll die…" he stopped as nupur placed her hand on his mouth. He gently kissed her palm with tears flowing from both their eyes continuously.

"and I am not just saying this nupur… I really mean it….. I don't have anybody …. I only have you baby ...and if you go away too…. I'll be having no reasons to live…..please, nupur" he said now hugging her.

Nupur was lost. She was confused. She didn't know if it was the right thing to trust him, to believe him. She thought… what if all this was just a lie…. What if it was all fake… and what about that night,…. Is he still in contact with that girl…. Is he lieing to me?? NO! he cannot lie to me…. Mayank cant just make all this up… he really means it…. But what about that night…. And .. and…

" and, nupur…." He said taking one of her hands and rubbing it on his cheek. "You've always been upset about the fact that I never told you that I loved you…well, after you left me alone… I felt really empty nupur, as if there was no life in me while you were gone….. I felt so bad… so helpless….. if this is what you call to be your "love" taken away then I say it now nupur…. I admit it…. I LOVE YOU, nupur. I love you." He said.

Nupur didn't know how to react. He is finally saying those three magical words but she didn't know what to say…. Heck! She didn't even know which expression she was supposed to have right now. This is not how it was supposed to be… she thought. She did feel immensely happy but because of all the drama that had been on for such a long period of time… she was confused.

She felt him nuzzle her neck after kissing it lightly. She remained silent. No response, no expressions. She was trying to think of something. And that too quick. What are you supposed to do now, nupur. She asked herself. What do you mean by that?!?! He is finaly saying what you wanted him to say for so long and you don't even react? Why are you being so rude with him, with his feelings? But what about that night? Raj told me the truth! Mayank was having an affair! But he said that he wasn't….. but how can I trust him like that? You need to trust him nupur! You freaking love him to death!

"Nupur, lets lie down" said mayank bringing her back from her thoughts. He knew that she was shocked to hear him finally say that he loved her. But he was damn sure that she was happy. And that's all that he needed to know. If she was happy, he wouldn't force her to respond right now… he would give her time.

Before nupur could say anything he was dragging her along with him to lie down on the bed and they both settled down under the blankets, all thanks to mayank.

It remained quiet. They just layed there on the bed… with mayank playing with her hands like he always did and the other arm went around her neck, while nupur just looked up at the ceiling, still taking in whatever he had said to her.

Their silence was suddenly broken off by the ring of mayank's cell phone. He ignored it the first time it kept ringing and continued to stare at nupur and playing his little game with her hands. His phone rang again and it irritated nupur a lot. "mayank, please pick your phone up" she said with irritation. Mayank obeyed her like a good boy and picked the phone up without looking at the name.

"Hello" he said nuzzling at her neck. " oh…. Hey….. uhh… yeah…. Sure….. umm…. I'm busy right now, so sorry…. Yeah tomorrow would be fine…. Ok yea … err… bye…" he talked a bit hesitantly giving continuous glances to nupur. He quickly kept his phone back in his pocket. The way he was talking made nupur really curious so she asked him " who was it?"…….
