"What do you want Mayank?"she repeated slowly

Mayank stood there feeling incredibly nervous.Unfortunately his anger hadnt faded and his nerves were still knotted.It wasnt the best time to come up with rehearsed cheesy lines.

"I know you are hurt..."he began
She looked up and then down.

""I have hurt you ..badly!It was unintentional.I dont even know what I did wrong..."he trailed off.Nupur was resolutely staring at the ground not moving at all.

Clearly his apology wasnt working.

Damn!Diya was right!He would have to do this the filmy way!!

What was the line again?
baare baare desho mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hain.

But could he really say it?Maybe he could modify it a little,make it a little less cheesy.

"This is a small issue..."he started trailing off when Nupur shot him a glance -hardened glare actually.

He took a deep breath and started again.
"'India is a huge country...""
She looked up,her brow clouding.
"It is very huge.I mean from Kashmir to Kanya kumari it stretches a long distance and even ...""
What was he saying??

Frustrated he ran his hand through his hair.
"What am I saying?""

Nupur said softly:
""You are talking about the geographical properties on India."

""NO!!"he said loudly.

""Huh?""

""I mean I am talking about that but I dont want to say that.""

Nupur inquired politely

""What do you want to say?""

Mayank grimaced.
""How do you say baare baare desho mein aisi choto baatein hoti rehti hai in a slightly different manner.?""

She smiled and then she laughed.The sound made his heart race.Radiant and happy-Nupur,his Nupur.
The thought confused him but it faded into inconsquential when she spoke again.
""You dont have to say that actually.You dont have to say anything.""

""I do."he protested.""I have hurt you unintentionally but the deed was done.I dont know what I said wrong.Maybe I shouldnt have asked you out.I know its too early for that.""

"No!No its not that.That didnt upset me at all."she said trying to pacify him.
She suceeded and raised his hopes too.

"You dont mind if I ask you out.??""The question was casual and the smile in his face increased as colour rushed to her face.
"I-I..."She stammered.

"Come have dinner with me tomorrow .""he said

She shook her head,her eyes downcast.

He sighed.
"Nupur if you dont come I will think you are still angry.Are you angry with me?""

She looked up.There was no trace of anger there.She shook her head again.

"Then we are going on a date tomorrow."he announced with finality.

This time she turned maroon.To his consternation his cheeks seemed slightly hot too.

""I meant dinner..""

She nodded once smiling slightly,her eyes still downcast.Her blushes were somehow controlling his pulse rate.They accelerated with her growing colour.
that wasnt a good sign!!

just loved these lines neha...common yaaar after a long time u have upd ...but its too short....its a complain....i need a big part....so am not a sajan fan yet...here in ur ff i luv sajan lot.....so upd their part too....mmh special we mayurians need more to read on...plz...so anywaz thx for this short upd....i no u would be studying yet given a upd....i do appreciate that....just ur awesome....this ff is one of my fav....keep rocking neha...

she is not angry yaar...she has some fear....neha had said some name in her previous upd i dont remember....😉
