Riddhima sat down on the steps of the fire escape with a slight smile on her face, she could'nt believe that it had been an year already, how fast had time run. It seemed like yesterday that she had been miserable and crying at this very spot, thinking about it, she closed her eyes and rested her head on the wall lost in thought.
Riddhima ran into the fire escape breathing heavily. She could'nt believe what she had just mumbled out. How could she say such a thing to him??? After all had'nt it been her decision to end their relationship??? Was'nt she the one hesitant to trust Armaan with her heart again??? Then why, why had she gone and wished for their happily ever after???
She cried holding onto the railing for support as she thought about the scene in Chirag's room. It had seemed so perfect to her, and she could'nt help but envision her and Armaan together just like that in the future, a perfect couple.
Suddenly someone entered the fire escape. She did'nt need to turn back and see who it was. She knew from the loud thumping of her heart that it was Armaan. She knew that he would follow her like he always did when he knew she was upset, offering love and support unconditionally. She did not understand why he did it, after the way she had hurt him, why he did'nt just leave her, why was he always so perfect.
As Armaan placed a hand on her shoulder hesitantly, a jolt went through her body. She shivered like always at his mere touch. She looked up to see him through tear stained eyes and saw not for the first time, the depth of his love for her. And she did what she had wanted to do for months but had always stopped at the last minute, she hugged him tightly, wrapping her arms around his waist and burying her head in his chest.
She started sobbing loudly as she finally released all her pent up emotions in his arms. She felt him stiffen a little but she did'nt care. All of a sudden, Riddhima Shashank Gupta did not care. She was just Riddhima right now, Armaan's Riddhima.
She moved her head slightly and placed a light kiss on his chest revealed through his half open shirt. She heard him sigh and his body relax and all of a sudden his arms were holding her tightly, close to his body, close to him. He clutched her tightly around the waist and nuzzled his face in her hair. She rested her head on his chest while he placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
He shifted the hair away from her shoulder leaving it bare for him and placed light kisses along the length of her neck ending near her ear. His breath tickled her as he rested his mouth near her. His hand moved wildly over her back and it took all of Riddhima's strength not to moan at his touch.
He moved to the other side as their noses rubbed against each other. He rubbed his face inside her hair smelling her unique fragrance and tightened his hold further on her waist. Riddhima moved back a little to watch his face, she looked into Armaan's eyes and her world stood still at that moment.

The noise brought Riddhima back from her lost thoughts and she opened her eyes to see who had entered but soon relaxed when she realized it was him. He came and sat down beside her without a word and Riddhima leaned against his shoulder basking in his warmth. After sometime Armaan broke the silence,"You were thinking about last year, were'nt you???".
Instead of answering him Riddhima looked in his eyes and softly said,"I love you Armaan" and hugged him again. Armaan smiled at her words and happily hugged her back remembering how she had confessed for the second time at this very spot and how he had never ever let her go again, no matter how much they fought with each other.
