Part 1

"oye bharti tu kaunsi college join kar rahi hai?" ranbir asks

"college' huh' tere saath to definitely nahi" she says a little upset, he looks at her and sits by her side and hugs her..

"oye kya hua?? Meri sweetheart mere saath college nahi jayegi to main akela nahi ho jaoonga?" he says childishly.

"Ranbir tu to St. Columbus ke California waale branch ko join karne waala hai na?" she tells him.

"obviously sab wahin jaa rahe hain" he says but she looks down.

"ranbir California jaane ke liye paise to chahiye honge na? yahan college join karne ke paise hai mere paas lekin California ke liye' never poori zindagi bhi kaam karoongi to nahi ho payega' aur tu to jaanta hai na' papa'" she sounds upset he feels bad'

"oye tu paise ki tention kyun leti hai? Main hoon na?" he says.

"tu jaanta hai na main tujhse kabhi paise nahi loongi'" she says but someone interrupts there convo.

"ranbir come on' Amarjeet sir sponsorships announce kar rahe hain" nikki comes and says giving bharti a stern look, ranbir smiles at this.

He goes and speaks to amarjeet.

"Ab hai time humari college ke sponsorships' chaar lucky students ko milega chance humare St. Columbus ke California ke branch mein apna graduation ke baad' aaj mera be graduation ho raha hai school se college tak, so I am very happy' so here goes: Armaan Modi," as soon as he announces the name armaan jumps up with joy and in this happiness hugs bharti then realizes and feels odd.

"congrats dude! So you are off to California" she smiles and congratulates him.

"and the next name is Rahul Khanna" everyone claps and rahul goes to the stage "and Payal sharma" he announces and payal jumps up with joy and hugs her best buds, Bharti, ranbir and gang' "congrats yaar!" bharti says while hugging her but feeling a little low because the whole gang was going.

"aur aakhri student haiii'." He pulls the last word and smiles, he looks at ranbir who gives him a thumbs up and he smiles "Bharti Malhotra" he announces and she looks up shocked surprised and over excited! Armaan and payal smile and give bharti a thumbs up and calls her on the stage while bharti is still stunned at the announcement ranbir smiles and hugs her "welcome to California" he winks and she smiles and runs to the stage nikki gives her a stern look.

All four of the students jump in excitement receiving there sponsorship papers'

After 4 months holiday, In California; all the students reach California excited about there new life' they enter the campus and get there rooms' Payal, nikkita and bharti in one room. Armaan, ranbir and rohit in one room.

"waah kaafi solid room hai' awesome" bharti says.

"I know itna accha room to maine khayalon mein bhi nahi socha tha yaar" payal says.

"god kahan phas gayi in middle class freaks ke beech" nikkita says sitting on her bed, bharti looks at her angrily "oh beauty parlour' zyada shaan pati mat kar warna teri aisi waat lagaoongi ke apna ata pata, naam aur yeh attitude bhi bhool jayegi samjhi kya" bharti says going upto her.

"ewww' stay away from me' aur yeh apni language zara change karo warna iss college se bhi nikal denge tujhe" she says annoyed.

"guys tum dono larna band karo' bharti just chill na' kutte bhok te hain to humein wapas thodina bonkhna chahiye" she says grinning evilly and bharti laughs, they h five each other and nikki looks at them annoyed.

"bharti lekin tujhe aise baat nahi karma chahiye' yaad rakh yeh California hai, ek galati and you're out" she tells her worried and bharti smiles.

"come on payal you know me' I can speak well just when I see some people that make me angry I speak in tapori language" she winks at her and payal smiles.

"cool' kal college ka pehla din hai, im so excited' tu kya pehne gi?" she asks and bharti nodds her head.

"tum ladkiyan na' appearance ke bare mein kitna worry karti ho' you know me' I'm bindaas jeans aur shirt'" she tells her and payal laughs'

In the boys hostel'

"Oye armaan ab to apne dimagh ko thoda rest de, exam to pass karliya na?" ranbir says seeing armaan go through some papers.

"ranbir yeh college books nahi hain' it's the college structure aur time table kal ki class ka" armaan tells him.

"oh cool' tu study karle phir kal saath chalet hain' hmm" ranbir smirks and armaan nodds his head.

Next day at the college, bharti and ranbir as usual making masti, throwing papers at eachother and other' while armaan behaving himself and payal was late' she was dressed in a long skirt, shirt and denim short jacket.

"oh god, pehle hi din late hona tha' bharti tak class mein hai and I'm late' god I cant believe it" she tells her self annoyed.

She looks at her college map to see where to turn and continues walking without looking up and bumps into someone'

"yup you're right its 'The Bhaskar'

"oh god, ek to already late hoon aura b yeh'" she looks at her stuff scattered on the floor. "aap dekhe nahi chal sakhte?" she says and looks up annoyed to see a handsome hunk in front of her "Bhaskar" he smirks at her, she was fairly pretty.

He helps her pick her stuff "Bhaskar" he says sticking his hand out, she smiles and shakes "payal"

"nice name" he smirks and she smiles.

"thanks'"

"nayi ho? Right?" he says and she nodds "aur pehle hi din late' class doondh rahi thi and'" she says and he smiles.

"main bhi wahan hi jaa raha tha, I can take you" he tells her smirking and she smiles.

"aap first year student hain?" she asks on the way to the class.

"haan teen saalon se first year mein hi hoon" he says and she laughs, he looks at her, her laugh was cute.

"uh' sorry" she says embarrassed.

"its cool' well heres our class" he says and indicates her to enter first.

They go in and settle down and the teacher comes.

Payal is sitting with bharti while bhaskar is sitting on the seat opposite there's.

"kya hua bhaskar koi nayi chiria phas gayi kya?" he's best friend max asks.

"ahan'" he smirks and moves his hand on his shaved jaw [like he does when he says 'I'm the man']

then he throws a rolled up paper to payal, she looks around and he grins at her, she smiles and opens it "it was really nice meeting you' so are we friends??"

she smiles and writes something and sends it back "well accha to mujhe bhi laga but dosti' abhi to mile hain, dosti??" he grins 'I love difficult birds'

"so lets meet up fpr coffee today' dosti bhi hojayegi' what say?" whens he reads this she blushes but is surprised at the speed, she looks at him and smiles "hmmm coffee' sochna parega" she writes and sends back, he grins. "atleast soch to rahi hai" he thinks and the teacher finds him writing something, he takes the paper and reads it' "Bhaskar as usual' since three years you are still here and even today no interest! Please leave the class' who else was involved in this conversation he asks' bhaskar looks at payal and smirks she gulps with a worried expression and nodds no' he smiles "sir it was me' only" he lies and payal smiles, the teacher chases him out of the class.

Guys I forgot to tell you this in the intro: Rano's story is 4 years ahead while the others story is still progressing.

At the palace in Pritampur; its night and Maharaj has called rano t his room, he is sitting on his shahi bed.

Rano goes to see him "Aap kaise ho babuji?" she asks and he smiles.

"bohot acche hain' aap kaisi hain? Aur hum jab nahi the aapne apna khayal rakha?" he asks her and she smiles.

"haan humne aapko bohot miss kiya' aapke aur rani maa ke bager yeah ghar bohot suna ho jaata hai' Ran one aapko bohot miss kiya" she says and he smiles.

"humari chotisi raj kumari ko humne bhi bohot yaad kiya" he takes her in a hug and she smiles.

[okay guys' Rano's dad's character is a little difficult to understand' he loves he's kids a lot and often sits and chats with them but only in the night' he believs that daytime they should be only Maharaj, rajkumari, rajkumar etc' and they should follow the rules set by the ancestors but at night when there is no one he is a normal loving and caring father]

"aaj to humne sab ke saamne kuch nahi kaha par agli baar yaad rakhna, rajkumariyan itni lambi baaliyan nahi pehenti" he tells her and she looks upset.

they have a cute small father-daughter chat' and he informs her that tomorrow the rajkumars from all over the country would be coming to see her, they have arranged her "soyamvar" she looks at him sad and shocked, she didn't want to get married so soon' she wanted to live her life once' just once'
