samrat cut this piece of pancake with his fork ... dipped it in maple syrup and whipped cream and made gunjan have some ......... " oh My god these pancakes are out of this world " gunjan exclaimed
" i told you .. the food here in unbelieveable ..... i have never had more authentic waffles and pancakes anywhere else "
there were at his small shack having there lunch ..... and having worked an appetite with all the sightseeing both of them were totally binging on the food .
" so how did you find this place any way " gunjan asked while reaching for her smoothie glass
" well it was during our college days .... benji , me and a few other friends ... we were returning from khandala and it was really early in the morning and we were really famished ..... somehow while trying to find a place to eat we found this shack and boy were we glad for that " samrat answered
gunjan shifted back in her chair and once again she couldnt help thinking what a nice guy samrat was ..... he neednt be doing this .. taking her around ... entertaining her ... nupur was lucky to have a friend him him she thought.

mayank slammed the brakes and brought the car to a halt " kya hua nupur .... everything all right " mayank asked with a worried expression on his face

Oh my god it indeed was raining .... he was sooooo lost in her thoughts that he didnt even notice that it had started raining ..... WAIT A MINUTE ... her thoughts ... no way he was just thinking about something .. something work related ... thats right ... not her thoughts
nupur saw mayank lost in his thoughts again and felt a bit chagrinned .... she really shouldnt have screamed like this .. " am sorry mayank .... i really gave you a fright "
" ehhhh what ... no thats ok .... you were right is really started raining " mayank felt really un-comfortable ..... what is wrong with him
" mayank lets go for coffee "

" sure lets go for coffee then " and he started the car ...... she was one crazy girl ...... in chandni chowk she had insisted on eating at this chatwallah and the guy owning it was as crazy as her ... both of them actually wanted mayank to have a gol guppa eating competition with her ...... a GOL GUPPA eating competition .... WHO DOES it ....... sigh atleast it had started raining .. thank god for that .

While dropping her home samrat had invited her over for dinner and gunjan had suprised herself by agreeing .... she really liked spending time with him ..... he seemed like a really nice guy and she liked how everytime he smiled he got his glint in his eyes and
" hey have you had a word with nupur as of yet " samrat asked breaking her chain of thoughts .... " i tried calling her yesterday but couldnt get through "
" oh yeah i think her battery died ...... she was having lunch with my brother ... mayank ... thats how i got through to her " she answered
" oh that nice i hope shes ....... "

both samrat and gunjan reached for there phones
" nupur " said samrat
' mayank " remarked gunjan and both of them head off in different directions to take there calls
" hey nups whats up ....... injoying yourself in delhi "

" nothing much .... i have invited gunjan over to my place for dinner "

" WHAT ... mayank are you crazy .... am not eveasdropping on samrat and nupur's conversation " gunjan exclaimed
mayank sighed ..... damn ..... gunjan was having dinner at samrat's place and samrat was talking on the phone to nupur ... what if nupur told him how he had acted like a freak "
" btw i hope you havnt bothered her ...... "
" offcourse not samrat .... am i crazy ... why would i go around bothering people " oh god has mayank already whinned to gunjan about her and gunjan told samrat
" then why do you want me to over hear there conversation " samrat asked
" just like that ' mayank answered
" mayank you are not making any sense .... will talk to you later byeeee " and saying that gunjan hung up on him
" nupur please you are not making any sense at the moment ........ and i have a guest to attend ... please take care and stay out of trouble ... bye " and samrat cut the call before nupur could come up with more crazy ideas.
both samrat and gunjan returned to the kitchen ......

" oh yeah .... i should start on the dressing " and both tried to concentrate on the food .. there respective phone conversations had left them all baffled.

both mayank and nupur sighed ... this really was getting out of hand ....... they both wondered what the other person had been saying about them .
mayank was sitting in his room and still thinking about this conversation with gunjan ... boy did he make a fool there or what . he just hoped gunjan would forget about it by the came she came back otherwise he would have a difficult time explaining himself

" bye " and mayank switched off the phone ...... he didnt knw why he had asked her out for the brunch .... but he liked spending time with her and she was all alone in delhi ... it wouldnt look nice if he didnt take her out ...... he was just being a good host ... yeah that was it ...... jsut being a good host mayank decided ... after all if gunjan was here she would have taken care of nupur ... but since gunjan wasnt here he felt the onus was on him to look after nupur .... with this thought he went to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee for himself .
