ONCE UPON TIME

Part one-Cruel past

She walked out of the temple and sat on the steps ,her hands joint together and her eyes closed' she rested her head on the pillar behind her, mornings were the only time she could spend in peace and harmony''''

She had an hour to be exact to reach the palace , the place where she was hated and ridiculed. She was a princess but was treated as a servant but still she loved her family, they were her only support'..

As she remembered the news she had received last night , tears ran down her face'..

The news of her marriage, she was soon to be married to her fathers 'enemies- son'

Her father had sold her to his enemy but what could be done?????

She was after all just a mere toy for her father and that she had been told that a hundred times''

But why was she to be married off to him of all????

The person she hated the most, yes the only person she hated the most prince armaan'

For the sole purpose she loved him and he ridiculed her love for him, born and brought up in hatred, she had learnt to bear hatred but never hate someone'

But when she met him, as a child it was love at first sight for her , her father and his father were quite good friends then , so it was natural for them to meet often but what irritated her the most was that he never paid attention to her but was always talking n playing with muskaan n abhimanyu'.

She still remembered the look on his face when she actually went up to him and told him that she liked him, he was in a state of shock n in the next second he was on the floor laughing about how a person like him could like a person like her'.

That actually started the fire in her and the fir grew as he continued teasing her ,then came the day when he went about and told her friends things that she never did or said'

As her friends deserted her, she gave up the hope of being loved one day and started cursing him'''.then came the day when her father and his father became enemies and now years later they have come together to marry her off to him'HIM of all?????

The thought of living with the man she hated the most made her shiver'

She opened her eyes as the sun rays hit her face, getting up she joint her hands n bowed down infront of the idol before leaving the shrine. It was time to face him after so many years. She would show him that she wasn't the old gullible ridhhima anymore'

Entering the palace she tip toed to her room in order to get dressed ,wearing a white gown she walked up to her siblings respective rooms to wake them up, abhimanyu was the only one who actually showed some affection to her unlike others'

Waking them up she proceeded towards the kitchen to cook something for everybody'

As her family sat on the table she served them n went up to her room afterall she won't be having the morning meals, it was a habit for her to not eat anything in the mornings'.

She was thrown off the table when she first sat down to eat food'

Glancing out of the window she saw her would-be-in-laws arrive, she had a great urge to scream at them n to tell them to get lost but she couldn't after all she was a princess and he was her families choice'

After what seemed like an hour someone knocked at he door ,she was quite sure who it was, as she said "come in" he entered and all she knew at that moment was that her heart stopped beating, he was handsome n his smile was a killer'..

At that moment she realized that she was in deep trouble he was going to be difficult to keep away from'

Closing the door behind him he walked upto the bed and sat down, trying to keep herself under control she looked at his image in the mirror he was dressed in a white casual t-shirt with jeans, his hair were neat n he still had his dimples'

She looked out n sighed, she didn't like to dress up in the modern way'

She had seen muskaan wear mini skirts but she never wore stuff like that for the simple reason that she didn't like to wear such clothes'

She looked out n suddenly he said " so, riddhima long time no see??"

She looked at him and replied "ya"

He looked around the room n asked "so, have you gotten over me or not??"

She looked at him giving her that cheeky smile, he obviously expected a no in return'

She looked out n replied "armaan I have gotten over you long back and what is surprising is that in the heart where there was so much love for you, today there is only hatred, hatred that I have lived wid n u will live wid'"

He looked at her a little disturbed, getting up he walked towards her but instantly turned and walked out of the room, she closed her eyes and hoped he would say 'no''

She couldn't possibly handle this once loved now hated person.......
