Update 16
Cant tell wat wud happen if the emotion driven samrat cud stop gunjan tht evening, may be they wud have been together by now,,,(meela, the narrator, sighs) but samrat is now totally himself once again as benji (keeping his promise to gunjan) gives him a very plausible reason behind having gunjan's cd in samrat's possession as 'a token of his effort behind gunjan's talent parade success'. Tho samrat has forgotten to ask himself a very important question, 'it cud be this or it cud be tht from his past but why does tht even bother him?' n he hasn't even bother bout nother one, " why isn't he troubled the slightest gunjan's winning the tournament beating him?"
S: yaar benji, bahat ho gaya ye flirt-vlirt! Ab dil kuchh settle hone ko soch raha hain, aur usse settele honeke liye tarana ka option bilkul thik lagta hain! Wat say benji?
B(whose brows r already together by this new development): thik? Aare use thik se hindi me baatein karna bhi nahin aata! Katrina ki salman banneka irada hain kya?
S(smiling): aare yaar, London me pali badhi hain itna prob to hogihi na? aur hindi? Wo to use sikha dunga main! Wo bhi kuchh hi din me!
B: dude ek baat kahu? Kisi bhi commitment me jaane se pehle aacchhi terha se ,,, I mean tujhe kya waqehi lagta hain ke ab tujhe settle kar lena chahie? Itne jaldbaazi se 'hero' samrat ko bye bye kar dena kya thik hoga?
S (searching benji's face for a sec): ye t tune thik hi kaha yaar,,, it deserves some more thoughts!
Benji exhales in relief.
Excel garden
M: nahin nupur maa ko batana hi hoga!
N: par mayank'
M: par war kuchh nahin nupur, tumne dekha na us sham hamara plan kaise fail hote hote bach gaya? (he shakes his head) hum ye risk phirse nahin utha sakte nupur.
N: janti hoon mayank, par pls sahi mawke dekhkar batana hmm? Unki mood aur sehat ka dhyan rakhte huye.
M (helplessly): yehi to problem hain! waha maa ki health ki sath chance nahin le sakta aur yaha zyada der bhi nahin kar sakta! na main tumhe kho sakta hoon, nahi unhe! Kya kaarun kuchh bhi samjhme nahin aa raha nupur!
N (holding hes hand : tumhe kisiko bhi khona nahin parega mayank, bharosa rakho koi na koi rasta zarur nikal aayega.
Mayank looks at her, nupur nods smiling.
Corridor
Samrat is sitting under the newly built shade (for decorationalpurpose) at the corner of the corridor tapping the basketball while gunjan is talking with dia.
D: i dunno wats wrong with him! Gunjan I think ab use sachhai keh dena chahie.
G: nahin dia, ye thik nahin hoga.
D: par kiu?
G: benjie ne use kahana ke hum best frnds the? Kya fayda huya? Usne mana kya? Koshish karne par bhi to nahin kar saka. (sighing) dilse agar usne nahi man sake to kuchh nahin ho sakta dia, isse to yehi aacchha hain ke (looking at samrat) use pata na ho, kam se kam wo to khush rahega na?
D: kya hum kuch bhi nahin kar sakte gunjan?
G: uska yaardash wapas aane tak shyad kucchh bhi nahi'
U (stepping in moodily): exactly, aur isilye uska memory wapas layenge hum wo bhi aaj, isi waqt.
D: shut up dodo! Ye bewkufi ka waqt nahin hain!
U: bewkufi nahin deedz! Sach me!(taking a heroic pose) ab is uday ne aisa chakkar chalaya ke
G (alarmed): kya kiya apne uday bhaia?
U: wo samrat ki ser ke upar jo shade dekh rahi ho na? wo agle kuch seconds me girnewala hain! (g n d shriek 'kya!!!') sirf mere ek ishara aur mere assistant chack is on fire! (he whistles meaningfully)
G: uday bhaia aap koi ishara nahin karenge samjhe aap? Aap ko pata bhi hain
U:par maine to ishara kar diya gunjan, wo whistle??? Agle 10 seconds me
G doesn't wait to listen to the rest, she rushes to samrat, dia gasps.
Mayur
Rimjhim sees mayur n makes up her mind to talk to mayank.
r: hey guys, hope I m not disturbing.
M: not at all rimjhim.
Nupur smiles in agrrement.
R (looking dim): mayank, kuchh din se hi main ye soch rahi thi ki tumse mafi manglu, par ho hi nahin
M (interrupting): mujhse maafi? Kis liye?
Sajan
Gunjan just throws herself over him to lie flat on the floor.
S(heatedly): what the hell (his words keep hanging in the air as the shade crushes right beneath his feet with an edge on gunjan's right leg making her eyes watery outta pain in a try to turn the loud scream in to a soft moan) oh shit! (samrat pushes her softly from over his body n tries to straighten up, but feels a soft obstacle to do so, as their locket chain is tied-up, tht holds attention of his just for a second or so, another 'uh' from gunjan makes his hand bz to undo the patch) damn it! Mere liye tumhe, damn! (now full of concern n concentration as he has already straightened up, now he can help her right away, some guys from the crowd holds the edge up n samrat drags gunjan out of that mess)
Mayur
R: mujhe tumpe thode aur bharosa hina chahie tha mayank!par nahin main to
N (pacifying): main bhi to use galath samjhi thina? Aisa hota hain rimjhim, bhul jaao.
R: tumhara gussa jayyez tha, lakin mera
M:bhi jaayez tha! Dost agar galathi kare to doston ko use naraz hona do banta hain, hain na?
R: to tum hona mujhse naraz?
M(shaking his head): main mere galathi ki baat kar raha tha!
Rimjhim smiles, so does mayur.
Chinu (running in): tumlog yaha ho! Main kabse dhundraha hoon tumhe!
N: kiu? Kya hua?
Chinu (as his usual excitement): gunjan baby ka accident ho gaya!
The 'kya!!!' comes in unision.
Corridor
Nupur seeing gunjan from a distant tries to runs to her but rimjhim stops as she has already realised gunjan isn't in life threatening situation n samrat is concerned about her like anything, she looks at mayank for help , he nods n holds her tightly. Some1 rushes past them, rim calls back whispering, 'ben, no!' he dosnt hear that n takes position to sajan's n dia's side.
In her relif samrat isn't letting nyone not even benji n dia to help gunjan but himself not knowing why n not even bothering to know why.
S (as gunjan isn't able to walk properly even after holding his hands): maine kahana tumse nahin hoga phirbhi tum,
D (only concerrned bout gunjan's pain): Sammie, tum rehne dona, shyad wo thik terhase tumpe pressure nahi de rahi (gunjan turns red, samrat looks confused) I mean may she'll be more free to take my help n that might help.
S (getting impatient): I have a better idea! (he lifts her up without any hesitation n with paying no heed to gunjan's objection) hume jald se jald hospital pauhchna hain gunjan!
B: main bhi saath aayu?
S: koi zarurat nahin hain benji (already leaving them behind by yards) I'll handle it myself.
Rimjhim n nupur
N: tumne mujhe jaane kiu nahin diya rimjhim? Gunjan ko agar
R: nupur, ben aur mayank gaya na unpe nazar rakhne ke liye? Agar kisi bhi chiz ka zarurat parega to wo dono ek minute me hazir ho jayega, aur tumne to yebhi dekha ke gunjan utnabhi hurt nahi hua, hmm?
N (almost crying): phir bhi mujhe is waqt uski pass hona chahie tha! Agar use
R: kuchh bhi nahin hoga usko! Samrat hain na uski pass? Tum samajh kiu nahi rahi ho nupur, samrat ko is waqt uski pass rehneka kitna zarurat hain? Shyad us accident baad ye pehlibar hoga jab wo samrat apne dil se gunjan ko karib jaa raha hoga! Aur hume is ek mauke kp haathh se nahin jaane dena chahie nupur!
N(sighs nodding): tum thik keh rahiho rimjhim, gunjan ki ye dard uski dil ki dard ki muqable me kuchh bhi nahi. Shayad isse uski asli dard mit hi jaaye!
Hospital parking
Samrat who has been lost in thought all the way to the hospital, stealing glances at gunjan, then again lost in thought more.
S bends to lift her once again after helping her getting out of the car, gunjan protests but he doesn't listen
At the chamber
D (examining the plates): mamoli sa fracture hain, do hafteke liye ye strap istemaal kare aur waqt pe dawa lete rahe to bilkul thik ho jayega.
S: hospital me admit honeka koi zarurat hain kya?
D: koi zarurat nahi hain, walking jitna ho sake utna kaam kar dijiyega, aur agar karna hi pare toh kuch dino ke liye ek crutch use kar lena acchha hoga.
Thanking him samrat takes her out of the chamber, this time on a wheelchair.
At bhushan's place
U (defending himself): isme mera kya kasoor? Filmo me , serials me hamesha aisahi to hota hain, jis jaage me chot laagne ki vajese amnesia hota hain, usi jaage pe dubara chot laagne se
N (losing temper): uday bhaia! Films ya serials alag hote hain (see who'se telling?!) aur zindegi alag! Filmo me na jaane kitne takes aur retakes hote hain (my bad! She is still the same) lakin zindegi dubara mauka nahi deta! Aapko ekbaar bhi is baat ka khyal nahin aya kya?
U (looking down, dimly): sorry nupur! Mujhe to samrat ka thik hone ke ilawa aur kuchh bhi nahin sucha tab (getting bright once again) but look at the bright side! Humne to plan1 ka istemal hi nahin kia!
D: plan1!?
Outside
Samrat's car stops. This time gunjan doesn't need any help as they have purchased a crutch on the way back. By the time samrat cud reach her door she is already outside.
G (awkwardly): thanks for everthing samrat. (nodding she begins to move but halts as samrat call from behind)
S: mere ek sawal ka jawab dogi?
G nods.
S(stepping closer looking in to her eyes): kiu gunjan?
G: kya kiu?
S : kiu tumne mere liye apne aapko khatre me dala? Kiu? (smiling sourly) isbaar mat kehna, excel ke khatir.
G (recovering from being off-guard, sighs): isbar excel ke nahi, insaniyat ki khatir.
The answer makes him to take a few reverse steps , tho his eyes r still filled with question. Then he reaches his car n leaves after a curt nod.
Back to the living room
U: haan, plan1, usme hum u know main aur chacko samrat ka car ka brakes fail karne wale the
D: kya! (nupur gasps)
U: haan deedz! Hum to uske car tak bhi pauhch gaye lakin na mujhe aur nahi chack ko us mechamisms samajh me aya to ( he shrugs ) anyway, jab tak chacko ne mechanic hire karneka socha tab tak mujhe ye idea already aa chukka tha to
N(losing temper once again): uday bhaia, main aap k
G (from the doorstep): rehne do di, (nupur runs to her "gunjan tu thik to hain na?' gunjan nods, dia n uday also look happy) jo ho gaya so ho gaya. Par uday bhaia aap mujhe pls promise kijie kea age se aap hume consult kiye bina koi bhi planko implement nahi karenge. Uaday bhaia?
U (unwillingly): promise gunjan. (then guiltily) sorry gunjan.
G smiles forgiving him.
Samrat's room
Samrat gets in n opens his full of junk drawer to find painkiller for his headachemuttering,' kitna kachra hain!' cleaning out the junks a piece of paper draws his attention, a laundry slip under his name. his brows gets curved, 'morena laundry???'
Nujan's room
Nupur is helping gunjan to lie down after dinner.
S (storming in making both of the sisters startled , to gunjan): mujhe tumse important baat karna hain, akele me.
G (after nupur's departure): kaho
S (sitting right infront of her): kya hum waqehi sirf dost the? (gunjan tries to look down but samrat doesn't allow it, holding her by arms making her to keep the eye contact) kya hum sirf dost the, gunjan, sirf dost?
