Part 27

Few days pass… ammy-rahul passing witty comments at eachother… RM not talking, muskaan keeps on running away from him… when they are together she makes sure no eye contact… Ridz is also not talking to ammy, he is also upset… AbhiRidz happily in love…

The wedding preparations are full on… tomorrow is the wedding, all interns busy decorating.

Nikki is busy with the flowers… she was standing on one of the stools and putting the flowers on the top, atul was standing down and giving her the flowers. Jst then he sees anjie struggling to carry a box and runs to help her… she blushes and they share a cute eyelock… nikki on the other hand was busy blabbering to atul who was not there lolz.

"Aur wo saala saroo… jaanta hai, mujhpe na line maarta rehta hai" she says while putting the flowers "but seriously usse lagta hai Nikki ek duffer ko lift bhi degi? NEVER!"

Abhigyaan was standing behind her looking annoyed "kya kaha?" he says and she gets a shock and stumbles, she falls off the stool and lands in his arms… she looks embarrassed and he looks irritated. They share a eyelock.

"kya keh rahi thi? Main tumpe line maarta hoon?" he asks and she looks here and there.

"you know logon ki baatein suna buri baat hai" she says irritated.

"aur logon ki jhooti baatein karma achi baat hai na?' he asks full of sarcasm.

"whateva… choro mujhe" she says looking irritated and embarrassed, he looks at her with a grin and leaves her causing her to fall, she was shocked by this and looks at him with a open mouth, he just leaves from there.

"aaaaahhhh" she starts her drama "oww, aaahhh" she acts like she was crying "meri peet… oh mera per" she starts her drama and he turns back and looks at her, he wonders if he should help her, she was looking at him but when he sees she looks down holding her leg "aaaahhhh" he feels bad and goes back.

"bohot dard ho raha hai?' he asks concerned while he sits on the floor… he takes her leg that she was holding and massages it a little, she starts staring at him… while he keeps rubbing his hands on her ankle.

"is okay now?" he asks but she was lost looking at him, he clicks in front of her and she gets out of the trance…. She looks around then at him, embarrassed and starts talking weirdly.

"uh… main…wo, phool… tum… main…uh… mera… per… main… wo, ab.. main chalti hoon" she gets up and leaves, he looks at her confused.

"isse kya hua?" he thinks.

Riddhima s was busy making the bouquets… she was cutting the rose sticks into the required size and also cutting the leaves off… abhi comes to flirt.

"hey beautiful" he says and she just looks at him then back to work.

"aaj bohot khoobsurat lag rahi ho"

"abhi main bohot busy hoon, please abhi nahi"

"but main to help karne aaya hoon" he says.

"accha… aur aap kya karenge?" she asks with a smile.

"tumse baatein, aur tumse pyar and etc etc" he winks and she blushes.

"haan haan, tumhe pyar ke ilaava kuch bhi dikhta hai kya?' she says with a smile and suddenly her finger gets pricked with the thorns.

"OUCH" she jumps and abhi gets worried, he takes her finger in his hand and starts sucking it… she looks at him with love and forgets her pain, he was really worried.

"tum theekh to hona ridzi?? Are u okay?" he asks worried.

"im okay abhi… chotisi cheez hai" she says looking at him with a smile.

"ridzi tumhe ek chotisi bhi chot lagti hai to mujhe bohot dard hota hai" he says looking extremely worried, she has tears in her eyes and a smile on her face.

"Tum mujhse itna pyar karte ho?"

"Isse bhi kahin zyaada" he says with a smile and she hugs him.

"I love u abhi"

"I love u too" he says smiling widely by the reaction "pehle pata hota to pehle hi emotional kardiya hota" he teases and she hits his chest and they both laugh and hug.

Riddhima G is standing on a ladder and putting up sum decorations… armaan was staring at her from a distance, her hair was blowing and she was looking beautiful as usual… her ladder shakes and armaan rushes to save her, but she handles herself and gets off, they both share a sad eyelock.

"are u okay?' he asks worried.

"armaan I can look after myself" she says and turns to leave but he holds her hand.

"basket please…"

"armaan I don't wanna talk"

"please ek baar meri baat sunlo, please" he says and she turns to him.

"Bolo" she says.

"basket tum kyun aise kar rahi ho?? You know I love you… but still you are acting so difficult"

"Armaan… if you cant understand rahul's love and broke your friendship with him just because you think he is not capable of loving your sister??? Armaan bale rahul mera real brother nahi hai but he is very close to me, jab hum pehli baar mile I had a instant connection with him… as mum says dil ka rishta, uske saath jo dil ka rishta jhurgaya, it is reli close to my heart, he's not only my brother but a very good friend aswell… armaan agar tum mujhse pyar karsakhte ho to wo muskaan se kyun nahi?? You are just being really difficult and mujhe nahi samajh aaraha kyun, isliye main na tumse koi baat karma chahti hoon aur naa hi kuch discuss karma chahti hoon, just lets leave this discussion here until you can come right with your thoughts" she says and relieves her hand and walks away.

"Kaise samjhaaoon ke main khud kitna hurt hoon with all this… main bhi rahul ko miss karta hoon, I really hate to be away from muskaan-rahul and you but mujhe kyun koi nahi samajhta, meri problem kyun koi nahi samajhna chahta?" he thinks with tears in his eyes…

Muskaan was taking a tray full of sherbet glasses… she was lost in her thoughts and walking sadly while rahul was coming her way talking to a boy to put the dcor right… he was walking backwards.

"Nahi mehul uss taraf… haan, haan perfect" he says and turns when RM bump, the tray falls, both didn't see who they bumped and sat down topick the tray "sorry" they said in unison and both looked up surprised… they stare at eachother sadly for a while… then start picking the broken pieces of the glasses… and they both touch one together, as soon as there hands meet they both look up.

Muski had tears in her eyes, she just felt like hugging him right now, she couldn't see him so sad, she wanted the joyful rahul joking around and flirting with her, she stared at him with those thoughts.

while he stared at her and felt like taking her in his arms and rubbing her tears… he always wanted her to smile, that's it!

"muskaan…." He tries to talk but she just gets up and goes… he stares at her with tears in his eyes and holds the glass in his hand and presses it… he's hand starts bleeding.

Muskaan stops in her track and turns back… she sees his hand and gets worried she runs back and starts blaberring.

"yeh kya hua? Rahul dhyaan kyun nahi rakhte, ek minute main plaster kar deti hoon" she says, he stares at her with love, sadness, surprise etc…

"Its okay muskaan, apne zakhm bharna aata hai mujhe" he says and gets up and leaves, muskaan looks at him hurt.

Armaan was watching this from a little distance with tears in his eyes aswell…

Next day;

Armaan was in his thoughts the whole day, tonite was the wedding so all went home to get dressed. Armaan was wondering if muskaan would have told him about all this before maybe he would handle it more calmly but no she didn't, so he goes and blasted muskaan for not telling him about her and rahul earlier… muskaan decided to speak to him now and also tell him that she cant live without rahul.

At Armaan's house:

"Ammy… Please meri baat sun.." she tries to talk but armaan was really upset.

"Mussu, tu mujhe bataa nahi sakhti thi?? Tu mujhe jhoot bolegi??/ maine socha bhi nahi tha" he says really hurt.

"ammy main tujhe bataane waali thi… bas darti thi tu kaise react karega.. main tujhe hurt nahi karma chahti thi"

"oh to ab main hurt nahi hoon hun?? Muskaan agar tu mujhe pehle kehti to mujhe itna hurt nahi feel hota"

"Maine kaha na sorry" she holds her ear, he just looks at her and turns away "but ammy… isme rahul ki koi galati nahi… wo to kabse tujhe bataana chata tha" she says and he looks at her strangely.

"Yeh sab kabse chal raha hai??" he asks and she looks nervous "KABSE Chalraha hai Muskaan?" he shouts and she starts crying.

"Valentines se" she says hesitating and he gets really annoyed now.

"aura b tu mujhe bataa rahi hai?? Whats wrong with you muskaan?? Tu aur rahul?? Muskaan wo tereliye nahi hai" at first he was angry but towards the last word he becomes senti, he makes muskaan stand up.

"muskaan uska lifestyle… uska rehne ka dhang sab alag hai… tu uske saath khush nahi reh paayegi"

"pehle main bhi yehi sochti thi, lekin ammy wo mujhse bohot pyaar karta hai! and I love him too" she says with tears in her eyes.. now ammy also gets sad "aur ammy wo bohot accha ladka hai"

"I know muskaan… I know rahul from long, main jaanta hoon uska dil kitna accha hai lekin…"

"lekin kya ammy?"

"muskaan, kya wo jaanta hai ke tu ek muslim hai?" she was taken back by this question… she didn't even think of it "muskaan uski family bohot conservative hai… savitri aunty hamesha se apne liye ek aisi bahu chahti thi jo unke baad unke ghar me diya jalaaye… unke ghar ki arti aur pooja kare… tu wo sab kaise kar sakhti hai? rahul ne apni mum ko arranged marriage ke liye haan kardi hai… usne hamesha apni mum ki baat maani hai, aur wo tujhe kabhi except nahi karenge, kabhi nahi" he says and muskaan realizes… she realizes what a big mistake she made by not telling him…

"But ammy… ridz bhi to…" she tries to find a solution.

"Maine basket ko sab kuch pehle se hi bataa diya tha.. she knows everything" he says ands hes looks really upset now, she starts crying.

"muskaan… ab tu ro matt" he says and hugs her… she cries on his shoulder for a while, he rubs his hand on her hair.

"Tu sachme usse pyar karti hai?"

"hmmm" she utters still crying.

"aur wo bhi…"

"haan" she cries harder, ammy looks upset aswell.

"tu ro matt, main usse baat karoonga" he says and she immediately comes out of the hug and looks at him surprised, he smiles and nodds in a yess, she smiles and hugs him again.

"Thank u"

Abhimanyu goes to riddhima's house…

"hi uncle" he says a little nervous.

"hello dr. abhi, aap yahan? Kuch kaam tha kya?"

"uh haan… wo uncle, main.. uh" after a lot of hesitation.

"Uncle main, main riddhima se pyar karta hoon" he says all in one breath.

Riddhima was bringing a tray of tea for them she almost slips, she was shocked at the way he said it.

Abhi and shanky both look at her surprised by her presence… abhi and ridzi share sum awkward glances while she's scared to look at shanky.

"riddhima" he calls sternly and she looks at him "kyat um abhi se pyar karti ho?" he asks and she looks worried, she looks at abhi then shanky, then finally nodds her head in a yess. And he starts smiling "arre yeh to bohot acchi baat hai" he says with a smile and both look surprised but happy.

"yahan aao" he calls both and hugs them… abhi holds ridzi's hand while in the hug and she blushes, then they both touch his feet and ridzi sneakily touches abhi's aswell, he sees this and stares at her while she blushes… the whole time shanky talks and the other two just stare at eachother with love.

At the wedding… Rahul was not in a mood at all, everyone could see that and wanted to cheer him up.

"mere bhai… mere dost, mere izzat rakhle, tu bas yeh pehenle…" atul was saying trying to make him laugh, he shows him a funny outfit. rahul just looks at him with a normal face and leaves.

"rahul, oye rahul ruk na" nikki calls.

"kya hai nikki?"

"haan haan ab kaam nikal gaya to kya hai? Jab setting karwaani thi to nikki nikki.." she says and realizes what she said, rahul looks at her sadly and recalls his moments with muskaan, when he was singing 'kahin naa laage mann' with nikki and when she comes then he gives her roses etc…

"rahul…" nikki puts her hand on his shoulder, he just looks at it and walks away sad…

Armaan sees ridz and takes her aside to speak to her.

"Basket please meri baat suno, plz"

"Kya hai armaan?? What now?"

"basket tum jaanna chahti thin a ke main kyun mana kar raha tha rahulmuskaan ke rishte ke bare me? Isiliye kyunki main jaanta hoon ke rahul ki family muskaan ko except kabhi nahi karenge, jaise unhone tumhaari mum ko except nahi kiya.. basket main nahi chahta ke meri muskaan bhi…" he ends with tears and ridz gets the picture…

"lekin armaan, wo kyun muskaan ko?" she looks confused.

"kyunki wo ek muslim hai… basket savitri aunty hamesha ek aisi bahu chahti hain jo unke baad unke ghar me pooja kare, unka diya jalaaye… aur jab unhe pata chala ke muskaan ek muslim hai to wo kabhi nahi maanenge" he says and she has tears in her eyes.

"armaan… main… im… im sorry" she says realizing she didn't even bother to ask him the truth.

"nahi basket…"

"no armaan tum sahi keh rahe ho and I was… maine tumse kitna buri tarhan baat ki, im sorry" she says crying and hugs him, he smiles and hugs her back.

Shub-Keerti enter, they sit on there seats and armaan starts singing wah wah ramji… atul-abhigyaan-abhimanyu join him and they all dance with there respective girls.

Rahul and muskaan stand at a distance and stare at eachother, later they are forced in and they dance and stare at eachother… They were both together staring at eachother, armaan comes there and puts his hand on rahuls shoulder, Muskaan gets worried… rahul looks at armaan, then armaan starts smiling and starts singing;

Rahul looks at him surprised then smiles and they shake hands and hug… Muskaan smiles aswell as ridz and the rest of the gang.

Finally all is over and Shub-Keerti are very happy… almost all the visitors have left only interns and doctors are left… armaan suddenly sits down on his knees and holds ridz hand.

"Basket, maine jabse tumhe dekha hai, My life has changed… with you in my life it has become better… when you weren't with me these few days I was dying each day… basket now I just cant live without you! Will u marry me?" he asks and ridz is shocked and so are the others, RM look at eachother, he winks at her and she blushes.

Ridz was just staring at him with a smile…
