Part 14

Going to work was now something that both Armaan and Ridhhima looked forward to...of course the excuse of being dedicated workers always came in hand, but it was now visible that they enjoyed each other's company...

Looking out of the window in his office, Armaan leaned against the wall, taking in the view as he sipped the coffee that Ridhhima had just made for him....Ridhhima...

Armaan couldn't stop his cheeks rising in a smile, as they formed his trademark dimples every time..."being" with Ridhhima was like a delight...by now, he had realised that his attraction towards her was beyond his limit; every time she would be with him, he felt his heart forming heavenly wings...only he was aware of the power he had to put in to stop himself going any further... her presence for him was so strong, that he always felt a sudden burst of happiness boost inside him, making his day much more better....

she had now unknowingly become an important part of his daily life...the urge to see her gorgeous face every morning had now become a craving, that could go to any extent...he sighed in confusion about his feelings, it was definitely a situation he rarely faced...he knew there was definitely something more to them...but what is it?...no matter how much he tried he couldn't pin point that feeling, and for some bizarre reason he wasn't ready to accept that its anything but Love...he had been with way too many women, that he was now unsure about the difference between Attraction and Love...she was his friend, a truly amazing friend...it takes a lot of guts to become friends with a man like him who she knows is a bit of a handful when it comes to women...

Armaan could bet on the fact that she is aware of his attraction towards her, his gestures were too obvious...but despite that, she still gave him a chance...that was the first thing that impressed him about her...amazingly she knew how to control him, without putting him down or by being rude, and he respected her for that...respect...one of the main reasons that he wanted his attraction to halt...although he didn't know much about her, he was sure that she is from a decent family...she is different, very different...she is nothing like any other women he had met...and apparently much more beautiful too, actually come to think of it, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his entire life...sensing a smile erupt again, Armaan mentally kicked himself for not coming in terms that she is not interested...

As for Ridhhima...she was a totally new person herself, and it was all because of Armaan...she definitely had found a truly great friend inside him, a friend whom she would cherish, hopefully for the rest of her life...he always bought a smile to her face, whether it was because of his silly acts of his flirty lines...giggling to herself as she typed up the daily schedule; however she couldn't help but acknowledge how much he had changed as well...he was much more professional with her, as if he knew his boundary line...Ridhhima knew that Armaan had got the message and he was much happier to be friends with her...every time she would be with him he would just create a comfortable atmosphere for her...keeping in mind that he was her boss and she was his employee...she really appreciated his efforts...he would somehow understand her before she would say anything...

the boundaries that she was creating had no reason anymore, but she was more determined to maintain a good friendship with Armaan...he himself displayed his limits towards her, then what was the harm?...after Abhimanyu, she really had lost her trust in men, which was one of the reasons she had shut herself, but Armaan...Armaan had made her realise that not all men are the same...there can be men like him in this...trust is the most important foundation of any relationship, and that can only be built through honesty...both Armaan and Abhimanyu had been honest and truthful to her, but their truth was far from each other....Abhimanyu didn't want a relationship with her so he had made it clear to her, which hurt.... Armaan was honest with her about his image and intentions, but only to make a friendly relationship with her...

the truth was, she didn't know how to react or behave when Armaan came...he was so open and straightforward that it took her a while to understand his intentions...she had never been so close with a man, even in a friendly manner...but now, she was so used his company that they would even share a laugh over there first meetings...she could talk to him, share a joke with him and had even learnt to take his flirtyness in a good approach...but there would always be that physical border...smiling and shaking hands is different when they're a work, but when they finish work, they're just friends...

many times Armaan had tried to hug her or even hold her hand, but she couldn't...this is when she unknowingly doubts her trust on Armaan ...no matter what, deep down in her mind, she would remember his image of being playboy, his physical attraction towards women...she didn't want to create ideas or chances for him about their "friendship"...but she also knew that she was being unfair on him; she was coming to conclusion without knowing what he really thought about her...he is such a sweetheart that he wouldn't even make her feel awkward in those situations..He would always bring back that comfort level they shared in a matter of seconds...

For now she just wanted to be friends with him...anything else could wait...
