Nikki: It all started 2 and half years ago
Flashback
We see Nikki talking to Mayank. Then doctor Gill comes and tells Nikki to tell all the doctors to go back to work as there is an emergency and tells her take some files and give them to the receptionists. Nikki goes to the conference room with the files. When she enters the room she tells everyone to get back to work and finds a guy staring at her. Feeling uncomfortable with his gaze she leaves.
Nikki is about to go home when her car brakes down. She is about to call Mayank but her phone's battery is dead. Just as she thought her day couldn't get worse it started to rain. Then a car stopped beside her, the window opened and it was the same guy who was staring at her in the conference room. The guy told her to come with her but she declined, after a lot of perusing she agreed to go with him. The guy is none other then Abhi. During the car ride they became good friends.

The next day
Nikki goes to the canteen and finds Kashish arguing Sujal again.
Nikki: Sujal bhaiya Kashish di what happened? Why are you both arguing?
Kashish: He started it she threw coffee on me
Sujal: I didn't do it on purpose, it slipped
Kashish: Sure it did
Nikki: God don't you both have anything else to do other then fight. You both fight like a married couple
Sujal: Me and Kashish a couple? (He says nearly choking) You must be kidding
Kashish: I know me and this thing
Sujal: What do you mean by thing
Kashish: Well for 1 your not human 2 I cant really say what you are because I don't know what you are.
Sujal: Kashish I'm gonna kill you (He heads towards Kashish)
Nikki: Bhaiya stop and di apologize
Kashish: I'm sorry
Sujal: Its okay
Nikki: Good, I have to go bye
Nikki leaves and goes meets Doctor Gill
Doctor Gill: Doctor Nikita you will be assisting Doctor Modi in the new case
Nikki: Doctor Modi? (She asked confused)
Doctor Gill: He is a new doctor here. He must be in the conference room.

Nikki goes to the conference room and sees a guy sitting in a chair facing the other way.
Nikki: Doctor Modi, I'm Nikita. I'll be assisting you in the case
Abhi turns around and both are shocked to see each other.
Abhi: Nikki
Nikki: Abhi?! What are you doing here? I mean how did you finish your internship so fast? Didn't you say that you are 20?
Abhi: It's complicated but I can tell you I finished high school early.
Nikki: Okay whatever.
Abhi and Nikki start discussing the case. After they go and meet the patient. There patient is an 8 year girl named Mini.
Abhi: Hi sweety we're you doctors
Mini: Go away. I don't want to be here (Mini crosses her arms and looks away)
Abhi and Nikki look at each other and then look back at Mini.
Nikki: Do you want chocolates?
Mini then slightly looks at them and says what kind
Abhi: Any, the ones you want
Mini then fully turns around facing them and tell them her long list of chocolates. After the list is done Abhi then gets someone to bring the chocolates. When the chocolates arrive Mini eats then quickly.
Nikki: Now let me give you this needle
Mini: okay. If you promise to bring me chocolates everyday
Abhi: We promise
Nikki gives Mini her injection and some medicines. Abhi then leaves for an emergency and Nikki watches him go
Mini: Do you like him?
Nikki: Who Abhi? No were just friends
Mini: why does everyone say that?
Nikki: What do you mean?
Mini: Every couple I know says there friends in the beginning but then fall in love. For example my boyfriend, he really liked the girl but she said there just friends and now there in love.
Nikki: That's not my case were just friend. Mini I have to go I'll talk to you later. Bye
Mini: bye
Nikki then leaves
Mini: They will also be a couple. But Nikki di doesn't realize that she likes him. I should help them. I'll call boyfriend and ask him what to do

Mini then goes to the reception and calls Armaan. They then talk about how to make Nikki realize her feelings for Abhi and if Abhi likes her or not.

During the next few days Mini found out that they both liked each other but didn't know it yet. One day when Nikki was late, and only Abhi was there Mini decided to take advantage of that.
Mini: Bhaiya do you like Nikki di?
Abhi: Yeah, she's like my best friend
Mini: I don't mean like that. I mean more then that
Abhi: No, wait Yes, No, what. I don't know what you're talking about
Mini: I know you're not that stupid. I mean do you love her
Abhi: I don't know. I don't even know what love is
Mini: Okay so let's try a game. So I'm going to say a word and you have to say the first word that comes in your mind and you can't say Nikki di's name

We see Sujal, Kashish, Mayank and Nikki drinking coffee. Then Abhi comes in and sits next to Nikki
Abhi: Nikki where were you
Nikki: I wasn't feeling well and I just came
Abhi: Oh okay. We'll Mini wanted to have dinner with us, so if don't mind (Nikki cuts him off)
Nikki: Of course I'll come. What time
Abhi: 8
Nikki: I'll be ready

Abhi, Nikki and Mini are having a small candle light dinner.
Abhi: Nikki you look really pretty
Nikki blushes a little and says thanks
Mini: Bhaiya you didn't even tell me how I look and I even wore a new dress
Abhi: You look like a princess
Mini: Abhi bhaiya, do you have any girl friend by any chance?
Abhi: Not now but had one
Nikki (surprised): you had a girl friend but never bothered to tell me⌠how nice of you
Abhi: I was going to but never got a chance
Mini: I am done with mine
Abhi: me too
Nikki: ok then I ain't a pig either⌠waiter please hand me our bill
Abhi and Mini gave naughty smile to each other while Nikki used the washroom. Abhi paid the bill and all left. While heading to bed, Mini asked Abhi and Nikki to give her a kiss. They both came forward to kiss her but she pulled herself back. After realizing their first kiss on each other cheek they couldn't help but blush. Then both left after wishing good night to Mini.

Hospital
The next day Nikki is sitting with everyone if the caf
Sujal: So Nikki how was your date
Nikki: It wasn't a real date, Mini was with us
Mayank: So you're saying if Mini wasn't there then it would have been a real date
Nikki: I never said that
Sujal: But that's what you meant
Nikki: But I didn't say that, stop annoying me
Kashish: Seriously guys stop acting like kids.
Nikki: Thank you di
Kashish: So Nikki did he kiss you?
Nikki: Di you too. You know what I'm going
Mayank: To meet your boyfriend
Nikki: Urgh... you guys are impossible
Nikki just leaves there angry. She goes to meet Mini on the way she bumps into Doctor Gill .
Gill: Doctor Nikita just the doctor I was looking for
Nikita: Is there any work
Gill: Yes, here is Mini's latest report
Doctor Gill gives Nikki the file and leaves
Nikki goes to meet Abhi. When she goes in his cabin she see's Abhi hugging a girl.
