Hi. I know everyone is writing RM stuff now and I guess I am one of them also. I would like to thank SuhaniSonia for helping me edit this. I hope you like it.
Part 1
It was early July 2014, the bright golden orange sun was fading over the ocean, making the water sparkle like molten lava. The ceremony had been good, the rain delay was a little worrisome but everyone assured him it was usually good luck. His bride looked gorgeous in her wedding gown. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her close, smelling her fragrant hair. The sun went deeper and he closed his eyes for a moment, to feel the last bit of heat back of his eyelids. Leaning down, he kissed her shoulder. She exhaled, took in another deep breath from her chest. She turned in his arms, wrapped her tiny hands together behind his neck.
"What are you thinking?" she asked. Her voice sounded very quiet against the beat of his heart.
He smiled and placed his hand on her cheek and moved his his thumb along her jaw, slightly tilting her head up. Kissing her was always one of the best things in the world to him. He kissed her deeply forgetting they had guests around and then he pulled back and rested his chin on her forehead.
After a few minutes of silence. "You didn't answer me."
"What was the question again?" he asked, teasingly.
"Rahul!" she rebuked and pulled away slightly to look at him.
Rahul's smile was mischievous. "I was thinking how much all of this is going to cost me."
She hit his chest. "Rahul! Seriously?"
"Seriously, I was. I mean, look at all these people and they're serving all this expensive food and none of it is really original."
Muskaan pouted. "Rah-ul!" The corner of her mouth twitched and she tried to deny the smile that finally started appearing on her lips.
He looked deep into her smiling eyes and he fell in love again.
Rahul pulled her closer, wrapped his arms tightly around her, and buried his face into her neck. He wondered if they could escape and run down to the beach without being noticed and find one of the caves hidden from view to spend some time alone.
"What are you thinking?" she asked again.
Raising his head his gaze met hers.
"I'm just saving this as a memory," he finally answered, bending over to kiss her again. Rahul saved memories the way most people save or take pictures. Only in his case everything was in his head and he brought them up often, the bad ones and the good ones just the same.
Muskaan understood why he did this and she started doing it also and this one they would both remember often.
