What shouldn't have happened…
Saturday afternoon….
Ashoke –So u have packed all ur stuff?
K –Umm no..
A –But aren't u leaving today?
K –Well… It's just.. I thought I'll go tomorrow… I mean it wud be too tiring….The overnight journey and an evening alone with that cocky bas-
A –Kashish! Mind ur language.
K –Sorry dad…
A –Well so. It's even better this way. Since u wud go tomorrow afternoon instead of today. U can meet every1 before leaving and we can all discuss the best place or the marriage..
K (half heartedly) –Yah sure.. I wud like nothing better….

Kashish stood in front of the mirror deciding what to wear for the final showdown b/w her and sujal tonight.
Should I go in a knights armor with shield made of dragons scales or should I go completely defenseless in a feminine evening dress of some light, delicate material. I wish some1 was here to help me. I wish mom was here…. Mom…. Why did u have to die? Why u? why not me? Or that man? It's so frustrating that I can't even cry about it all. Coz whenever I do, I remember him taking care of me…. Oh! Why the heck do I have to go with him? Why me? What does he want with me?
Whatever it is. Today is gonna be it. There is no1 here. I am alone in the house today whatever there is to be said will be spit out tonight. I just hope I survive his insults to see the sun tomorrow.
Kashish got ready around 6.30. she wore a simple white evening dress.. no frills, no bulletproof vest. Just a simple dress.

Ok…. This is definitely different….. For the first time I am taking her out and I am not having nightmares…. I hope this is a good omen. When I have weird dreams, things o good in the beginning but end badly… Does not having bad dreams mean that things will go bad in the beginning and last till the end?
God I just hope I survive tonight without messing up. I owe it to-
Sujal pulled a sudden halt to his train of thoughts as he heard the name ashoke sinha mentioned in nasty whispery tone…

Sujal's ears burned upon hearing what he did hear. He wished he cud go and teach them little manners right now. unfortunately he was in a plane and the plane was right now landing. So he couldn't get off his seat.
I swear to god the moment this thing lands those two sneaky bast***s are dead… how dare they say such tings about kash- Sujal jolted as the truth hit him.. Haven't I been thinking the exact same things about her? God!!!!! What have I done??!!! How cud I have jumped to such horrible conclusions about her? How? How cud I have… thought what I thought and… My god!!! What all I called her…I am so stupid!!! I should have used my god gifted brains instead of jumping to conclusions like a Mad Ape!! This shouldn't have happened!!!
Sujal closed his eyes and leaned back in his seat. He knew he had to make things right before it was too late. Perhaps tonight was just meant for this only. He vehemently thanked his stars for giving him one more chance, when he had done everything to screw up the most wonderful thing in his life.
I have to make up to her…. I have to .. I have to… Oh my god I just hope she forgives me if I crawl on my knees in front of her…. I need to get hit it right from the beginning…………… FLOWERS…Yes!!!!! That's it! The good old trusted method I'll start my apologies with flowers and then follow it with exceptional gentlemanly behavior….. I have to get her to forgive me… but tonight? It'll be fulfilling her duty if she comes tonight, it wud be difficult to apologize when she wud be in a hurry to leave.. Maybe I should take her out again sometime and leave tonight alone…. Geeezzzz my brain is not working. I need help!!!!
S(On mobile) –Mrs. Morse (The secretary)? Hi! Yah I am back at the air port.. Yes I see my car.. Cud u do me a favor? Cud u please arrange some flowe- No! No… Umm what sort of flowers do girls generally like?................. Huh?..................... her fav.? I don't know……………… Ok, thanks……. Um.. bye the way u think I should apologize to some1 on a .. sort of forced date………………….. Really? Thanks once again, ur the best! Bye

Kashish cruelly twisted the hem of her dress as she sat n front of the television, waiting impatiently for sujal. she glanced at the clock for the 3rd time in the same minute.
7:28… He wud be here any second now…. How I wish I don't have to face him right now… Oh how I wish I didn't have to go with him…. Why did he ever come into our lives?
7:29 Ok where is he? Ought to be here by now he wouldn't wanna be late…..
7:30 Ok he is here I know it he is never late perhaps he is hiding somewhere watching me getting all nervous. That a**hole deriving pleasure from my misery
7:35 Now relax he is not here. He is not hiding anywhere. He must be caught up in the traffic.. That's all. Behave like proper woman now. keep up ur poise!
7:45 Alright… It's natural, his flight got delayed.. So he is late.. Simple as that. I don't have to get so worked up about nothing….
8:00 Maybe I should call the airport and ask about the flight… That wud be the sensible thing to do right now.
8:15 The flight was on time.. He is 45 mins late!!!!!! Just let him get here! He is a dead man!
9:00 Alright so..so.. Maybe… He.. doesn't wanna come…. I am so stupid!!!!! Getting all dressed up to go out with that no good, two faced monster!!!
Kashish ran to her room and threw on a bathrobe over her dress. If sujal was to show up.. he wud have a lot of groveling to do…..
10:00kashish checks all the watches of the house. She couldn't believe that sujal cud be late by almost 3 hrs. this only meant one thing…… She took out her half packed suitcase and randomly threw more clothes in it. she wiped her unceasing flow of tears and called in a special favor for tonight's train tickets. By 11.00 pm Kashish was ready to leave on her one month trip.
Maybe… Just maybe… Oh maybe.. He didn't mean to.. Maybe something came up!... Oh! What do I do????? Kashish finally called sujal on his cell but it was switched off. Why that slug!!! He switched off his ph. So that I cant reach him. I hate him!!!! Kashish threw her mobile in the aquarium and caught a taxi to the train station.
K settled in her seat and got good curious stairs from ppl in her coach. Every1 was surprised to see a lonely looking, tear streaked face girl who looked angry enough to murder some1.
<<<ppl whispering……. Oh poor girl, it shouldn't have happened.. perhaps she lost some1 to a murder…. Or maybe she had a fight with her husband….. Maybe some1 knocked her off and refused to take responsibility now….
K to her self……. yes that is right. This shouldn't have happened. I shouldn't feel as if I just got ditched on a date, when it wasn't even a dinner.
