Itefaaq-Part 5

Kirpa woke up at 5 am that morning. She walked over to the petite window in her room and pushed away the curtains. The sky was still pitch dark and it was snowing as hard as ever. Kirpa closed the curtains and wondered whether Angad had woken up yet. Apparently he had not because he was curled up on the sofa when she arrived in the living room. It' better not to wake him Kirpa decided. The poor guy has had enough adventure last night. She left the living room and went straight to the bathroom so she could freshen up.

Kirpa dried and brushed her long lustrous hair, and dressed herself in black long skirt and a maroon top. She was dressed so simply but yet she was look completely stunning. Thereafter she went back downstairs and found Angad still sleeping. Kirpa now had decided to wake up Angad as it was 7. She faltered at first but then decided to move forward. She slowly shuddered Angad's bare hand, it was burning hot. She understood it that instant that Angad had fever. (like 104* F). She knew better or who else would, she was a doctor after all.

Angad felt something very soft touch his hand and he opened his eyes. He saw Kirpa's hand over his and stared on to it. When Kirpa realized that her hand was still on Angad's she quickly retrieved it. "I should be going now, thanks for letting me stay I owe you a lot Ms. Kirpa", Angad said in a weak tone. He tried to get up but his legs gave up. Thanks to his luck Kirpa was there to support him, she held him by the shoulders and helped him back to the couch. "Are you okay?" she asked him worriedly. Angad was not okay at all his body ached from head to toe but he chose to lie " I am fine". Kirpa of course knew that it was a white lie. You are not well at all are you Angad. I am a doctor I can tell you are seriously ill. The storm has not calmed down she spoke firmly. And how exactly are you planning to get out of here, your car is 4 feet under snow and the phone lines are still dead and on top of that you are in no shape of going anywhere. You can stay here with me until the storm passes out and the phone lines are up and working and waise bhi I will have a nice company she added. I get very bored here all alone in this place. she finished. Angad didn't know what to say or how to react to her words so he chose to remain silent. Kirpa had taken his silence as a a yes. Thereafter Kirpa held his hand to support him and led him to the bathroom. You can freshen up while I go make the breakfast and left him there.....

omg where did my babli go? I haven't talked to her for so long and now I read your posts and you said she left IF. 😭

Awesome story, I read it cuz Babli asked me to, but read it again now cuz Angad's in it. Can't wait to read more parts.
