Angad stopped the car in front of her house. He looked at her; she still was numb about the incident that occurred to her. Tears came out from his cheeks, this was not his Kripa, she was all cheerful and teasing them. How dare them, to do this to her and that too to her, his best friend. He shook her gently, no response. He hugged her tightly as if he can~{!/~}t see her like that.

He opened the door and went out. It still was raining on them. He stopped by her side and picked her up in his strong arms and approached the door. He gently took her bag and took the keys out and unlocked the door. He went inside and placed her on the sofa, he was about to go and when she caught her hands. He looked up at her to see her, tears swelling in her eyes as she looked up at him. He sat beside her. Kripa hugged him whilst Angad patted her.

~{!.~}Kripa why waste your tears on some stupid goons, they are not worth it! Now please smile, other wise you will wet my new designer shirt!~{!/~}

Kripa lightly smacked him and smiled and looked up at him, ~{!.~}Thank you!~{!/~}

~{!.~}Welcome~{!/~} he smiled. ~{!.~}Now if you don~{!/~}t mind I have to get your stupid things from my car~{!/~} saying this, Angad quickly left.

~{!.~}Angad!~{!/~} Kripa yelled behind. Angad heard her and smiled.

Meanwhile a person lay their on the beach, all drenched. Although the person was wet, his eyes were all red; it is evident that he has been crying his eyes out. He looked up at the sky and yelled between his tears, ~{!.~}Why me? Why me~{!-~} what have I ever done to you. This is not fair!~{!/~} He closed his eyes and a smiling face came; Kripa.

~{!.~}Oh my, what am I going to tell her~{!/~} he asked himself, ~{!.~}no I can~{!/~}t do that to her, what has she done, she deserves all the happiness!~{!/~} but then again he cried.

Suddenly his cell rang; he quickly wiped his tears and answered the call.

~{!.~}Hello~{!/~} he replied in normal tone

~{!.~}Neal~{!/~}

~{!.~}Kripa, what is it?~{!/~} Neal asked

~{!.~}What is it? She asked, it~{!/~}s twelve and you are not home! Where are you?~{!/~}

~{!.~}I told you, I was in meeting and right now I am stopping in front of hotel as it~{!/~}s raining very hard!~{!/~} he lied

~{!.~}Oh, take care~{!/~} she said

She waited for him to say the words.

Neal ended the call. ~{!.~}I am sorry Kripa, I lied but I have to. I hope you understand some day. Right now I, Neal promise have something to do~{!/~}

Kripa cooked the pasta and placed in the dining table. She set the cutlery on the table. In the middle of table, she lightened the candle.

~{!.~}Angad~{!/~} she called.

Angad came soon. He breathed in taste the smell, ~{!.~}hmmmm~{!/~} he said with his eyes closed. Kripa smiled. ~{!.~}Kripa, are you sure you cooked this because I think you have ordered it from somewhere and lied that you cooked it~{!/~}

~{!.~}Yes, I ordered~{!/~} she replied sarcastically, ~{!.~}happy?~{!/~}

~{!.~}Very and thank god you did not cook it otherwise I would be dead by now~{!/~}

Kripa looked at him madly. She served the pasta to herself. Angad pressed his lips to stop from smiling. He served the pasta to himself and added some sauces in it.

He took a bite and smiled, ~{!.~}wow it~{!/~}s so delicious, Kripa seriously you need to start to learn, how to cook? I wonder what would happen to Neal if he eats your cooked food. Seriously did he ever ate your cooked and vomit and if he did, I bet he vomited?~{!/~}

~{!.~}Angad, for your information, I know how to cook. And for Neal he never vomited~{!/~} Kripa replied sternly.

~{!.~}May be he was trying to impress you?~{!/~}

Kripa stopped eating the food and stood up. She went up to Angad and grabbed his plate and emptied all the pasta in the bin. Angad looked at her amused.

~{!.~}so you did not like my cooked food well for your information I cooked the pasta and what did you said that you like take any way~{!/~}s I will just order the Chinese no wait I have got the better idea I~{!/~}ll just call Misti and tell her to give you company. How is that?~{!/~} She picked up the phone and dialed the number.

Before Angad could grab the phone from her hand she quickly backed away and it was too late.

~{!.~}Hi Misti?~{!/~}

~{!.~}Yeah I am O.K and what are you doing?~{!/~}

~{!.~}Hmm. I just wanted to ask Angad wanted to have a dinner with you alone! Is that O.k. with you?~{!/~}

Angad widened his eyes and stared at her in horror, his mouth was half open.

~{!.~}Really, you can make it tonight. That~{!/~}s good, I will just tell him. Bye~{!/~} with that she ended the call and smiled like brat towards Angad.

~{!.~}Kripa, what have you done?~{!/~}

~{!.~}What, you just told me that you don~{!/~}t like my hand made food so I made it easier for you.~{!/~} She looked up at her watch and then back at Angad, ~{!.~}Come on, Angad you don~{!/~}t want to be late, you have only got few minutes left!~{!/~}

~{!.~}Duh, I did not say you to call Misti?~{!/~} he asked.

~{!.~}What ever!~{!/~} She pushed Angad towards the door. ~{!.~}Angad you are going to be late and you should thanks me that I am helping you~{!/~}

She opened the door and let Angad out. ~{!.~}Thank you~{!/~} he replied sarcastically.

The rain had dried out. Angad walked towards his car when he heard Kripa call his name. He looked back. She gestured him to ~{!.~}come back~{!/~}

He went towards her; she pulled him inside and closed the door. He looked at her confused. ~{!.~}Now Look, who~{!/~}s making me late!~{!/~}

Kripa went up to him pulled his cheeks, ~{!.~}Angad, has anyone told you that you are so cute when you are angry! And by the way, you just made a fool of yourself~{!/~} Kripa smiled

Angad looked at her for few seconds, ~{!.~}you mean that call was all fake?~{!/~} he asked.

Kripa nodded and smiled like a brat. Angad let out a sigh of relief. ~{!.~}You made a very big mistake, Kripa by fooling Angad khanna~{!/~} he said advancing towards her.

~{!.~}Oh yeah?~{!/~} she backed away and quickly ran. Angad followed ran behind. The game of cat and mouse lasted for twenty minutes. When finally Angad caught her by her waist and swing her around. They both flopped back to the sofa. Kripa~{!/~}s head was his chest.

~{!.~}Kripa, I don~{!/~}t what I would have done with you~{!/~} Angad said.

~{!.~}What do you mean?~{!/~}

~{!.~}Well, I always wanted like a best friend like you, who understand me, tease me and other stuff. Plus you are hot!~{!/~}

~{!.~}Angad~{!/~} Kripa wined. ~{!.~}You know you are so cute and I am lucky as well to have a friend like you!~{!/~}

Angad laughed.

~{!.~}Remember the day when we used to fight in front of everyone?~{!/~}
