Part 11

Next Morning armaan woke up at 7 , but was abit surprised not to find Rids besides him.. He quickly checked bathroom nd the kitchen but she was still not found.. He found her in Ridhaan's room she was half lying on the bed nd Ridhaan was clinging to her nd sleeping.. He wondered why was she hear.. he came closer nd planted a kiss on her forehead.. She opened her eyes nd looking at Armaan she hugged him tightly nd sobbed a little..

A: (concerned) kya hua jaan.. tum ro kyun rahi ho..? nd why were you sleeping here..?

R:''still crying

A: batao na jaan have I hurt you..? plz jaan say sumthing..

R: (sobbing) ar...armaan.. kal raat ko ..ri..ridhh..ridhaan ko bohot high fever thha.. He was crying so much... badi mushkil se..abhi soya hai..

Armaan took Ridhhima to their room feeling Ridhaan might wake up again with their sounds..He pacified her nd with in a few minutes she was feeling light.. Even Radhika was awake by now as they decided to go for jogging last night..

Rad: bhabhi kya hua aap theek to hain na..?

A: yup she is fine kal raat Ridhaan ko fever thha isliye pareshaan hai..

R: Armaan aaj main tumhare saath nai chal rahi.. main Ridhaan ke paas hi rahungi tum dono jao jog ke liye..

A: arre nai jaan.. hum bhi nai jaate.. thodi der aur so lenge na.. (he tried convincing so that he can stay with her to support her..)

Rad: haan bhabhi..

R: ji nahi.. ab koi nai soyega.. Aap dono jayenge thats final..

she knew Armaan would be upset looking at her worried face so he wanted him to have a good exercise nd distraction too..That was the beauty of their relationship.. Khud se pehle ek dusre ke baare mein sochte hain.. but this time as usual Ridhhima won the arguement nd they are pushed put of the house for the jog..

however as she turned the door bell rang nd there Armaan nd Radhika were standing with a Red nd a White Rose resp. to try nd convince Ridhhima once again for letting them start from tomorrow.. but no use.. this has now happened for 5 times in last half an hour nd now Ridhhima was althought distracted from Ridhaan's health issue but was irritated abit.. She opened the door nd without looking at them she said..

R: okk fine.. nahi jana na tum dono ko jogging ke liye..matt jao..Armaan tum kabhi meri baat nai sunte nd Radhika tum bhi bilkul Armaan ki tarah behave kar rahi ho..

Not getting any response she looked up to find a lady dressed in a blue saree giving her a confused smile nd a man wearing a grey suit besides her..Ridhhima was partially shocked nd surprised looking at them

R:AAP..?

Lady: humein andar aane ko nahi kahogi beta..?

R: aaiye na..plz..

They sat in the lounge while Ridhhima came from the kitchen with coffee for them..

R: aunty aap yahan..?

Man: beta hum apni galtiyon ki maangne aaye hain..Tumse..aur Armaan se bhi..Jab usne humari marzi ke khilaaf tumse shaadi ki to humein bohot dukh hua aur humne tumhe bhi kya kuch nai kaha..

R: nahi uncle AAP ARMAAN KE PARENTS hain.. aur aapko hak hai kuch bhi kehne ka..Humne aapko samjhane ki kitni koshish ki lekin aap bina mile hi US laut gaye..

The couple was Armaan's parents.. Mr.Raj Mallik (ra) nd Mrs. Naina Mallik(N)..

N: beta humne tumhe bohot galat samjha..Armaan sach min tumse bohot pyaar karta hai.. Iss umar mein ma baap ko apni aulaad ki zaroorat hoti hai lekin humne hi usse galat samjha.. vo sahi thha jis ladki ko humne uske liye chuna thha vo bhi kisi aur ko chahti thhi..

R: Aunty aap maafi maang ke mujhe sharminda kar rahe hain.. ma baap humein galtiyon par daante hain.. maafi nai maangte.. Aap sirf Armaan e hi nahi mere bhi mom dad hain na..

N: bilkul beta.. (she was so greatfull to have such Wife for her son..She had a heart of gold..Bina kuch kahe hi humein maaf kar diya..) beta ab se tum mujhe aunty nai Maa bulana..beta tumse ek baat poochoon..

R: ji maa.. aapko ijazat ki kya zaroorat hai..

N: beta jab hum aaye to tum itna gussa kyun thhi ki tumne bina dekhe hi..

R: (embarressed) sorry maa.. mujhe laga Armaan fir se aagaya wapas.. main nai gayi to vo Radhika bhi nai jana chate thhe lekin maine bhej diya.. to har 5min. mein aake bahane bana rahe thhe dono..

Ra: Radhika..? tumhari beti'?

R: nahi papa.. Radhika Sanjeevni mein intern hai Armaan takes her as a sister islie vo ab yahin rehti hai.. aap chaliye main aapko kisi se milvaati hoon..

She took them to Ridhaan's room who was now awake nd was better after having his medicines nd milk.. As the door opened he saw two unknown people looking at him.. he was scared abit so he snuggled closer to Ridhhima who was now sitting on his bed with Mr nd Mrs. Mallik..

N: daro nai beta.. yahan aao..

Ri:'.. he only moved closer to Ridhhima in her lap

R: shonu yeh aapke daadi ' daadu hain.. Aapke buddy ke mama-papa..

Ra: he is just like Armaan..

N: come here beta.. aap humse nai miloge.. hum aapko dher saari stories sunaenge aur bohot saare games khelenge'

Ri:'h looked at Ridhhima still unsure but moves to naina..

N: (Holding him nd loving him she asks) Beta yeh to garam ho raha hai..

R: haan ma.. vo kal raat se isse fever hai.. Ab to bohot kam hai kal to yeh bohot ro raha thha..( she said with watery eyes)

Ra: Don't worry beta.. he'll be fine..

Ri: haan mama.. main to bohot strong hoon.. aap matt ro pleash..

R: (smiling) Hmm I know baby.. Maa aap log fresh ho jaiye tab tak Armaan aur Radhika bhi aajayenge aur Bi bhi uth jayengi..

N: Bi.. Shenaaz Bi yahan hain..?

R: ji vo thode din pehle hi aayi thhi yahan.. Ridhaan zid kar raha thha unse milne ki isliye..

Ra: Ridhaan.. Hmm nice name.. I'm sure yeh naam Armaan nahi soch sakta..

R: (giggling) ji papa.. yeh naam maine rakha hai.. mere naam se shuru hota hai aur Armaan ke naam pe khatam..

They chatted for a sum more time while Raj nd Naina quickly got fresh nd went to Ridhaan's room again..

Meanwhile Ridhhima was preparing sum gud breakfast nd armaan Nd radhika were coming back.. Ridhhima was in kitchen now..

Bi: arre beta aaj subah subah itna kuch.. koi aa raha hai kya..

R: aa raha nai Bi aagaye hain..

Bi: aagaye hain..? kaun..?

R: Armaan ke parents' vo yahan humare rishte ko manzoori dene aaye hain Bi..

Bi:Sach..Ammy bohot khush hoga' Kahan hain vo..

R: Ridhaan ke room mein..

As Bi went to Ridhaan's room Armaan nd Radhika were back too..

Rad: arre wah bhabhi aaj to bohot achhi smell arahi hai'

A: aur kya.. Ridhaan ki farmaish hogi.. kyun..?

R: Ji nahi..Armaan tum humesha mujhe surprises dete hona..Aaj tumhare bhi liye ek surprise hai..

A: acha..( coming closer) yahin dogi sabke saamne ya bedroom mein..

R: (pushing him back) sharam karo.. tumhari behen yahin khadi hai.. aur tumhara surprise Ridhaan ke room mein hai..Radhika tum bhi jao..

They followed the instructions nd Ridhhima follwed them to see their reactions..Armaan entered the room with chocolates..sayin..

A: hey buddy.. ab kaisa hai mera superman..

He stopped as he saw his parents there.. Naina came nd hugged Armaan saying 'Sorry' while he smiled in between his tears.. he then went to give Raj a hug nd whispered 'I missed you son..I'm sorry'' Naina then looked at Radhika recollecting Ridhhima's discription..

N: beta tum Radhika hona..? main Armaan ki maa.. aur ab se tumhari bhi..

Rad: Namastey aunty.. namastey uncle..

Ra: beta abhi Naina ne kya kaha tumse.. Uncle nai.. dad, papa.. kuch bhi..

Rad: ji papa.. (she smiled n had tears in her eyes) main abhi change karke aati hoon..

Bi: isse kya hua Ammy..

A: pata nai Bi.. Jab gaye thhe tab to theek thhi lekin kuch der main isse akela chod ke last round lene gaya thha tabse hi bohot ajeeb behave kar rahi hai..

Bi: achha chal tu ready hoja.. Ridhhima ne to hospital se leave li hai Ridhaan ke liye aur abhi Atul aata hoga Ridhaan ko check karne..

A: theek hai bi..

He went to his room while Ridhhima being Ridhhima went to Radhika to ask her matter of concern..

RECAP: ARMAAN'S PARENTS ARE BACK.. RIDHAAN NOT WELL ND RADHIKA DISTURBED COZ OF KARAN..

At the breakfast table everyone was there except Radhika nd Ridhaan..Ridhhima had prepared everyones favourites..

A: arre yeh Radhika kahan hai..usse breakfast nai karna kya.. Ridhhima plz usse kaho na jaldi aaye or else we'll get late..

R: Armaan aaj vo nai ja rahi sanjeevni.. aur vo Ridhaan ke saath uske room mein breakfast kar rahi hai...

N: beta uski tabiyat to theek hai na..?

R: ji maa.. she is fine bas abhi mood thoda kharaab hai..

A: mood kharab hai to kya vo Dr. ki duty bhool jayegi.. main as a senior doctor usse leave approve nai karta.. main abhi usse baat karke aata hoon..

R: nai Armaan plz.. bohot mushkil se vo apne aap ko samhaal rahi hai plz tum usse kuch mat kehna.. She's not fine right now..

A: kya hua usse..?

R: vo.. aaj..

A: (impatiently) kya ridhhima..?

R: usse aj park mein Karan mila thha..

A: (angrily) Karan...? kya kaha usne Ridhika se tell me..

R: pata nai Armaan.. Radhika iss waqt bohot insecure feel kar rahi thhi isiliye maine usse neehe aane ke liye force nai kiya.. filhaal vo kisi shock mein hai vo thoda normal ho jaye tab main usse baat karungi..

Just then the door bell rings..Atul's there..

At: hi Ridhhima.. Hi buddy.. namastey bi.. (although he greeted Armaan's parents yet he looked at Armaan for an intro..)

A: champ yeh mere mom-dad hain.. aaj hi aaye hain.. aur nd mom-dad yeh Atul hai Dr. Atul Joshi.. mera best friend nd a child specialist in sanjeevni..

At: oh ok.. pehle kabhi dekha nai na isliye.. sorry yar.. hey Ridz ab kya haal hai Ridhaan ka.. subah subha tumne phone kiya to Anjali to bechari darr hi gayi thhi..

R: Sorry Atul lekin usse fever itna high thha.. Di ko sorry keh dena meri taraf se..

A: nd yes mom-dad Atul is married to Ridhhima's sister, Anjali..

After a few chats Ridz took Atul to Ridhaan's room while Armaan explained his parents about Radhika's regarding Karan..

At: hi Radhika.. hey superman.. kya hua aapko.. dekho sab kitne pareshaan ho gaye..

Ri: chachu main to theek hoon bas kal raat ko thoda fever thha..

At: achha.. calo kuch nai hota.. hum abhi aapko davai de dete hain to aapka bachha hua fever bhi gayab ho jayega..

Meanwhile Ridz talking to Radhika..

R: radhika tum thodi der aaraam karlo.. you don't seem to be okk..

Ra: nai bhabhi I'm fine.. bas thoda..

R: don't lie to me okk..I know tum Karan ko leke kisi baat se pareshaan ho.. its okk if don't wanna share it but atleast take care of your health..

Ra: (wet eyes) kya main aapse akele mein baat kar sakti hoon bhabhi.. I can't take this anymore..

R: sure baby.. chalo hum mere room mein chalte hain okk.. Atul tum iska prescription Armaan ko dedoge plz main abhi aayi.. Shonu call me if you need anything okk bachha.. mama abhi aati hai..

AR's Room

Ridhhima waited patiently for Rdahika to start.. She was crying mumbling

'he betrayed all of us bhabhi.. he betrayed us..'

she was till crying like hell when Ridhhima took her in an embrace.. she broke down on her knees nd covered her face with her hands..

R: radhika calm down.. chalo rona band karo aur shanti se batao ki kya hua hai..

Ra: (still sobbing) bhabhi..vo..aaj..jab bhai last round lene gaye to.. to.. to main vahan karan se.. mili.. HE IS A LIAR BHABHI.. he betrayed al of us.. he lied to me.. I can't believe he kept such a big secret from all of us.. HE IS MARRIED BHABHI...

**FLASHBACK**

As soon as Armaan left , Radhika started to walk to the small garden when she saw a todller approaching her with a ball.. She looked around to find sumone with the boy but she saw noone.. as the boy threw his ball to her, even she smiled nd played with him..when she tried to ask him about his family all he said was "gaaa..boo..booo" she smiled at his groogling nd sighed thinking he's too small to give any whereabouts of his family..

As they were playing suddenly the kid ran past her squeling loudly "da..daa.." when radhika turned to give the so-not-responsible father a piece of her mind she froze looking at him.. Her world came crashing to her IT was KARAN.. He was caressing the baby in his arms nd talking to him softly "kahan chale gaye thhe baccha.. you know DADAA was so worried.."

"Karan yeh.. yeh tumhara beta.." she was too shocked to say anything further.. Startled by her voice Karan fumbled nd tried to change the topic "Ra..Radhika tum.. I mean tum yahan.."

"don't avoid my question Karan.. yeh tumhara beta hai ya nahi..?" Tears welling up in her eyes.. not another rejection Karan..plz.. her heart cried..

"H..ha..haan.. yeh..yeh Rohan hai..MERA BETA.." difficult though but he said it..

"yoU..you are married already.. Oh God..!! Itna bada sach chupaya tumne mujhse..hum sabse.. yeh jante hue ki main tumse.. How could you Karan.." she felt disgusting for loving such a liar..

"Radhika..meri puri baat suno please..main maanta hoon ki yeh mera beta hai lekin.." he tried to reason but in vain she cut him in between nd said "lekin..lekin kya Karan..kamse kam ab to aur jhoot matt bolo.. sab khatam ho chuka hai ab.. pehle humari dosti aur aaj mera pyaar bhi.. I'll never forgive you for this Karan.. never.." saying so she rushed to where Armaan's car nd cried for sum time when she saw Armaan approaching she quickly wiped her tears nd put on a fake smile as if to reason everything is fine..

**FLASHBACK ENDS**

Ridhhima was is daze listening to Radhika.. She knew how it feels when one feels cheated upon.. she recollected how much she hated Armaan when she came to know about his going with Muskaan to patiyala.. yet she forgave him but Karan was A MARRIED MAN ND A FATHER TOO..

She consoled Radhika nd respected her decision of being left alone for some time.. the news of HER LOVE BEING MARRIED already has not sunk in her still.. she needed time.. As Ridhhima stepped out of the room she bumped into Armaan.. He could easily figure out Ridhhima was not herself right nownd from the present situation he could even make out that it was sumthing about radhika.. When he asked her she refused nd when he wanted to meet radhika she refused that too..

Same Day.. Nurse Station.. Sanjeevni..

A: gud morning interns..

All: gud morning sir..

A: okk so aaj Dr. Aditya aap childrens ward.. Dr.Shergill OPD.. nd Dr.Jai aaj aap lonavla jayenge check up ke liye..

All: yes sir..

A: nd yes Dr.Aakansha has taken a transfer to Sanjeevni Delhi so a new intern will be coming in a few days.. any doubts..?

K: sir vo Radhika..I mean Dr.Radhika nai aayi..?

A: (angery) that's none of your business.. kisi ko leave lene se pehle aapko nai seniors ko inform karna hota hai.. nd I find you no authority to learn er whereabouts.. (karan was quite all the while when Armaan asked him to leave) nd yes Dr.Jai don't go directly report at sanjeevni's enterance after an hour as Dr.Radhika will be joining you too..

J: (trade mark smile) sure sir..

A: get going then.. (karan heard everything from behind the pillar nd his heart sank after learning that he'll not be seeing Radhika for a few days now..nd se took off today just to avoid any encounter with him..) Dr.Aditya.. call Radhika nd inform her that she has to report here in an hour with her luggage..

Adi: sure sir.. umm sir.. vo theek to hai..

A: (put a hand on his shoulder) nai..vo theek nai hai.. I dunno ki usse kya hua hai lekin she is not fine for sure..isiliye usse kuch dino ke liye lonavla bhej raha hoon.. hope she gets back to normal soon..

After a few hours Radhika nd Jai were off to Lonavla, even Ridhhima understood why armaan did that.. Karan was trying hard work with his all concentration yet he was getting frustrated of his condition.. jhoot wo bolna nai chahta aur sach sunne ko Radhika hi nai hai.. Adi was observing Karan sumtimes yet he didn't sympathised coz he thought that he deserved it.. While in all this the new would-be-intern was forgotten..

WHO'LL BE THIS NEW INTERN ANY GUESSES..? KYA HOGA IS LONAVLA KE TRIP PE.. HOW WILL ARMAAN REACT TO THE WHOLE OF KARAN'S TRUTH.. WHAT NEW TWIST WILL TAKE KARAN'S LIFE..?
