After college they all go home. Kanya hasn't been to college for a while but Ranbir was too busy with his new love Natasha to be bothered. Ranbir goes out valentine shopping for Natasha.

At night 11:50pm he goes to kanya's house to wish Natasha , but natasha's room is on the inside so he has to go to kanya's room from the balcony. He jumps in (he is still in the balcony) kanya is lying down on her stomach and watching tom and jerry and laughing like a baby. He sees her and starts smiling seeing her innocence (he still hasn't got over her, too sweet to get over) he watches her for about 5 mins and then he drops the vase in the balcony and kanya gets up and picks up a vase coz she thinks it's a thief, she goes out to hit the person.

K: [holding the vase] Kaun hai?? Whos there?

R: main hoon! Drop that vase,

K: [shocked] tum!!!! yahan kya kar rahe ho?????

R: tumse milne nahin aya hoon, don't get excited!

K: oh really isliye mere room mein aaye ho??

R: There was no other choice! Natasha ke room mein balcony nahin hai na!

K: iss time pe aane ki kya zaroorat hai????

R: oh ya I forgot, tumhare pas to koi valentine nahin hai na? well 2 min mein valentines ho jayega I came to wish Natasha!

K: oh! To jaao na!

R: haan haan jaa raha hoon!

K: please!

Ranbir is trying to go out but suddenly the lights go off. Kanya is standing next to him and is dead scared she runs and hugs him tight. Ranbir is shocked, and the clock chimes its 00:00am [valentines day]. Kanya even hugs him tighter, Ranbir is still in shock but he puts his arm around her.

R: its okay kanya,

she realizes that shes in his arms she looks up at him hesitatingly and he ons his phone light, they both have an eyelock, but suddenly kanya pushes herself out of his arms.

R: [again shocked with her reactions] whats wrong with you??

The lights come on again.

K: why don't you just go and wish nats now?? Its already ten past twelve!

R: yeah that's a better option!

He goes away and kanya offs her tv and sits down thinking about valentines and Ranbir and her being together at twelve o'clock, she was in his arms at twelve, whats happening?? Why cant she get over him?? Why are her feelings so confused?

The scene shifts to Ranbir, he also cant get over kanya he only thinks of her while he is walking towards natashas room, he is only thinking of kanya. He decides not to give Natasha the valentines gift cause now he was very confused. He had feelings for both but he always thought more of kanya, he only thought of nats when she was with him, not after that but he always thinks of kanya, he dreams about her he sees her everywhere. Maybe that is true love???

R: main kya kroon god? What must I do?

He decides to go back to kanya and tell her how he feels, because he knows that kanya also has feelings for him. While he's going back Natasha comes out.

N: Ranbir tum???

R: [shocked] ummm, who actually…

She pulls him in her room. Then she sees the gift and card and flowers. She takes them.

N: awww, Thank you sooooo much! [surprised]

He gives her the gift, card and flowers. [he had decided to ask her out but now he is confused about his feelings but the card says I Love you!]

Natasha hugs him and thanks him.

N: ab tumhe jaana chahiye!

R: yep, bye!

N: bye, and thanks again!

R; okay bye!

[he starts goin but Natasha stops him]

N: Ranbir,

R: what happened?

She goes and kisses him on his cheek!

R: [shocked and blushing] Thanks!

N: [blushing and red] Ranbir, I need to tell you this now, I love u! I love you too much Ranbir! And I know you also love me, otherwise you wouldn't come here to wish me at this time.

R: [shocked and confused at the same time] Natasha, actually [he doesn't know what to say]

N: Ranbir tumhe kuch kehne ki zaroorat nahin hai, main sab samaj gayi hoon. Jao warna koi aa jayega!

R: okay, bye!

He goes out of her room and to kanyas room. Its already around 12:45.

Kanya is sleeping. Ranbir goes in and sees her sleeping, he goes next to her and looks at her, natashas words are ringing in his ears while he is looking at her. He thinks about the moments they shared and then the ones with Natasha. He keeps staring at her.

R: I don't know what attracts me to you kanya, I just cant understand my feelings, Im confused what must I do? Is this love or what my relation with Natasha is? What is this??

He goes closer to her face, kanya is awake but acting like shes sleeping.

K: [thinking] please don't do this to me Ranbir, you are confusing me also! Go away please. I cant wake up, because whenever we meet something happens, I just don't know why?

He sits by her, he can see shes shivering, she is already wearing a blanket but when he's around a shiver runs down through her body! He puts his jacket on her and stares at her for a while. He leaves a red rose on her side table. And leaves. While he is leaving using the pipes, kanya wakes up and sees him she stands by the window looking at him and holding his rose and wearing his jacket.

K: I don't know what this is Ranbir but I also feel some attraction towards you, I don't know what I must call this feeling but its sweet and painful at the same time, why?? What is this?? Is this love? Kya yehi pyar hai?

Ranbir doesn't see her and goes home.

Ranbir's room

R: why am I so confused about my life? He thinks about kanya and Natasha.

Natasha's room

N: Ranbir loves me sooo much! I cant believe it! Kya yehi pyar hai? Haan yehi pyar hai! [singing]

Kanya's room

K: Kya yehi pyar hai? Nahin aisa nahin ho sakhta! Ya ho sakhta hai? I don't know!

With there confusions they go to sleep. Next day malika wakes Ranbir up and takes him with to kanya's house.

R: mum, hum yahan kyun aaye hain?

M: andar chal, pata chal jaayega!

R: okay they go in.

Kanya and Natasha are upstairs pammi is getting nats dressed.

P: kanya ab jaldi yeh [anarkali dress] pehen ke aaja!

K: mum, Natasha ka rishta aa raha hai, mera nahi!

P: tu jaldi tayar ho jaa, samjhi!

K: whatever, btw mum kaun aa raha hai?

P: dus minute mein pata chal jaayega!

Pammi goes down and meets malika and they sit and talk. Up in the room nats is tensed.

N: kanya, mein yeh shaadi nahi karsakti!

K: kyun?

N: kanya im in love, abhi iss sab ka waqt nahin hai, I'll tell you everything later, please help me out!

K: what can I do?

N: you take the tea and go!
K: no way, you must be crazy, apne hi paon pe kulhari mar doon?

N: no, first hear me out, you just have to tell the guy about all your bad habits and he'll run away himself then we both are saved.

K: you must be crazy, why don't you do that?

N: kanya, you know I cant lie!

Natasha finally convinces kanya by reminding her how many times she helped her out.

Kanya and Natasha walk down. Kanya is holding the tea tray. Ranbir looks and is shocked because now he knows why his mom brought him here. But he feels a strange kind of happiness seeing kanya holding the tray. Kanya and Natasha both look down and walk because they know pammi is gonna shout them, they are scared to look at her. Pammi is shocked also as kanya is wearing nats outfit and holding the tray.

P: Natasha, chai leke aao yahan!

N: [oh no] ji mama. {she takes the tea tray and walks to the sitting room and puts the tray on the table}

Kanya sees who it is and is also shocked, but shes not happy, she feels pain.

P: Natasha chai serve karo!

N: ji, [she looks up to ask how much sugar they'll take and is shocked and excited to see ranbir] Tum! [all smiles] Namaste aunty! Kaise ho aap?

They all start laughing at her reaction.

Ranbir keeps staring at kanya is kinda upset, he also doesn't feel happy. he keeps staring at her and thinking how beautiful she looks in Indian clothes. Kanya cant take it anymore and runs away to her room. She feels like crying but why?

K: kyun??? Mujhe itna dukh kyun ho raha hai? Im I in love again? Nahi! Even if it is! This is the sign from god me and ranbir are not made for eachother.

They discuss about the marriage of Ranbir and Natasha and fix the engagement date. Ranbir is confused but also happy he decides to take it as gods decision and anyways he likes Natasha. At night they have a prom night.

Natasha is dressed in a very pretty red dress [like amrita in main hoon na] and Ranbir is wearing a black suit. He comes to pick her up and they leave.

Kanya is going to the prom with Vicky as his back in town and he asked her. She wears a cute pink dress like this one:

They also go to the prom.

K: so vik what are you upto nowadays?

V: nothing much! And your side?

K: nothing much except that Natasha ki shaadi pakki ho gayi!

V: what! I don't know about it! Usne mujhe bataya bhi nahin, kiske saath?

K: with Ranbir!

V: [really upset]

K: vik, tum nats se pyar karte ho na?

V: no!

K: Don't lie! I know that you love her and I think She also loves u.

V: u think so?

K: yeah definitely, shes just confused!

V: but now its too late!

K: its never too late!

V: really!

K: hmmm jiju! [nodding her head and smiling]

Kanya and vik enter holding hands. When Natasha sees this she doesn't like it.

Natasha angrily takes vik on the corner.

N: hey kanya, tum aur vik?

V: yeah you know your sis just has something special, I just cant get over her, I think I wana spend my life with her! I think I love her!

N: WHAT???? How can you? Its not possible you both are just not… like eachothers type!

V: come on nats who are you to decide?? Its my life!

N: I know that but doesn't mean you musnt tell your best friend!

V: oh yeah? What about you eh? You told me that you and Ranbir are going out? You told me that you are fixed??

N: I know, it was all done so quick, im sorry!

V: whatever, you fell in love without my opinion and so did i! anyways lets go and dance.

N: [smiling] sure lets go!

V: [holds kanyas hand and takes her] Come kanya!

Natasha is angry and jealous. Ranbir also feels a breeze but not sure why!

K: so what was nats telling ya?

V: she was just jealous and she was warning me about you!

K: oooh okay! Anyways now you are my jiju!

V: hmmm, yeah but you know they say 'Sali adhi gharwali'

K: shut up!

Nats is really upset, she goes upto them.

N: kanya, could I please steal him for a while!

K; yeah sure [she winks at vik before leaving]

Natasha and vik dance and Natasha argues with him.

Kanya goes and sits down, she looks at nats and vik and smiles.

Ranbir comes and sits next to her.

R: hey!

K: [feeling uneasy] oh hi!

R: so… you and vik eh?

K; yeah… hes reli sweet and cute… I've had a crush on him ever since!

R: oh okay! L

R: [change the topic] so you are afraid of dark??

K: [feeling embarrassed, she just looks at him angrily]

R: so is KK scared of dark or kanya?

K: [looks at him with a questioning look]

R: I guess kanya is right?? Cause I've noticed when im around you feel like kanya but act like KK only from the top!

K: Rubbish!!!

R: By the way, aaj tum bohot khoobsurat lag rahi ho!

K: Thanks [arrogantly]

R: Kanya, May I have the pleasure of dancing with you?

K: [hesitating, then she sees nats and vik] okay!

They both go on the dance floor, the song khabar nahi is playing.

Maula maula mere maula, mann matwala kyun hua hua re mann maula mere maula, maulaaa.

They stand to dance, Ranbir puts his arms around her, she looks at him and both of there eyes lock.

Kis taraf hai asman, kis taraf zameen khabar nahi, khabar nahi. Ho oh oh.

They both start thinking of the times they spent together, how they met at the airport, then when Ranbir saw her kissing the dog and eating ice cream, in the mandir. Then how they fought, and when he carried her at the college and party, when they danced at the party, when kanya hugged him in the dark.

They finish the dance. And then they all go home.

Natasha hates the fact that vik is in love! She feels pain, she cant sleep, she wants to call him and chat with him like old times, but she cant, its not the same anymore! But why does it bother her???

Vik is over excited knowing that nats is so jealous seeing him with kanya, that means she loves him!

Ranbir thinks about kanya whole night and thinks if Natasha is really the one for him?? What must he do now?? How must he break this relationship?? Or should he just do what his mum wants and what god has planned for him?

Kanya thinks about ranbir, and also about nats and vik!

K: agar Natasha aur vik ek ho jaye? Kya main aur ranbir? No I don't think so! I think god has already showed us the sign by getting nats and ranbir fixed, even if they break up we are just not meant to be! Im happy single! Good night teddy! Mwah!

They all go to sleep!
