Baahon mein, he finished,still staring at the woman he loved mor ethan himself

He put her down and made her sit on his lap, all the while staring at her angelic face.Nothing could be more perfect than this. The perfect couple, who loved each other more than they loved themselves. The setting was nothing less; it was 10:30 PM, on a chilly night right infront of the beach. A cold breeze was blowing through the air hich made her hair blow in her face, making her look even more beautiful.

''Theek hai...maan liye'', she said in a defeated tone {okay I have accepted...}

''Kya maan liye?'', he asked, bringing his ear right in front of her lusious lips. {what have you accepted?}

''Yahi ki...'',she whispered in a soft,innocent, yet seducing way. {Just that...}

''Ki tum BOHOT bura gaati hoon! Kya Armaan? Meri kaan thodrni ki koshish kar ri ho kya?'' she said in a loud voice this time. {Just that...you sing SO bad! What Armaan? What do you want? That my ears break}

Riddhima Gupta loved irritating Armaan Malik. She did it when they were friends, and she wasn't gonna stop just because they were dating.

''Kya?!'' asked Armaan in a shocked tone. He really worked hard in singing this song; considering he didn't have the best singing voice.{What?!}

''HAAN! Bohot bura thi...lagta hai mari kaan tut gaye'', saying this she got up from his lap and sat in front of him, wanting to see his reaction. {Yes it was VERY bad, I think my ears have broken}

Usually Armaan would get irratated and start bothering her; but this time he just stared at her with love in his eyes.

Riddhima was not expecting this kind or reaction from him. She expected him to be mad,irritated,ANNOYED! But he was staring at her...lovingly? The loving stare was making her nerveous. She started bending down as she saw Armaan bringing himself closer to her.

When Riddhima was finally on the beach floor, laying on the sandy ground,Armaan now on top her body fully. There was no escaping; his body was now on top of hers.

''Ar-Ar-Armmaan...kya kare ho tum?'' she stuttered out the words in a cleary nerveous way {Ar-Arm-Armmaan what are you doing?}

He ignored her and took his fingers and slowly started caressing her lips, sending goosebumps down her body.

Taking advantage of the situation, he questioned, ''Main bura gaata hoon?'', in a seducing whisper. {I sing bad?}

Riddhima was now nerveous as anything. She, avoiding his eyes, said a simple ''Haan''

''Main bura gaata hoon?'' he asked once more, in a challenging tone. {I sing bad?}

Riddhima gulped as he brought his face so close to hers that the only distance lef between them was their lips.

Armaan closed the distance and brought his lips to hers. They shared a sweet kiss. It was slow and sensual.

Riddhima tried resisting his kiss at first, but later on gave up. Her lips and heart refused to deny the magic of Armaan Malik's kisses.

After their long, sweet kiss, Armaan got off of Riddhima and looked at her with a evil grin.

''Main bura gaata hoon?'' he asked once more; in a low,sexy voice. {I sing bad?}

Riddhima had enough of this and decided to just give up. With a sigh of defeat she said,

''Nahin...sach much main woh bohot accha tha...sachha'', she finished looking up at Armaan who was, again looking down at her with his loving eyes. {No...to tell tell the truth you sing very good...truthfully.}

He then smiled a naughty grin and said ''Haan of course tumhe mera gaana achha laga...afterall meri sari girlfriends ko achha lagta ha... tho kyun yujhe naa pasand kaise aya?'' he questioned with his naughty grin still on his face, only to see a fuming Riddhima with clenched fists, staring at him.{Yeah of course you liked it...all my girlfriends like it so why wouldn't you like it?}

''Armaan!'' she cried and started playfully hitting him.

''Basket chill...main tho bas mazak kare thi'' he said looking at Riddhima's angry face.{Basket chill...I was just kidding!}

''Riddhima caught hold of what she was doing and moved her hands from his chest, sending a deep blush down her face, which only a lover like Armaan could notice.

He smiled seeing her go red, and pulled her into his lap.

Riddhima buried her face into his warm chest, hiding her blush, and making her feel warm.

Armaan moved her face from his chest and made her stand up. When they both were standing against each other, he kneeled on his knees, making Riddhima looking quite confused with Armaan's actions.

''Riddhima...meri pyaari Riddhima...bhagwan ki shukar ki maine tumhari jaise larki ki saath dosi baana...phir pyaar. Aaj main tumse kehre ki main tumse bohot pyaar karti ho...apni aap se zyada. Please mujhe comlete karo...mujhe se shaadi karo...Riddhima Gupta'', he said taking out a small box form his jacket pocket which contained a beautiful, silver diamond ring,{Riddhima...my lovely Riddhima...thanks to God that I have made friendship,then love, with a girl like you. Today I am telling you I love you...more than myself...please complete me}

''Will you marry me?'' he finished showing her the beautiful ring.

Riddhima was dead-shocked. She knew Armaan loved her, but she did not expect him to propose to her soon, especially in such a beautiful way like this.

As he slipped the ring on her finger, he stared at her reaction. She looked blank and shocked--that was for sure--but what was she thinking?

He was lost in her expressions when he saw a drop of water coming out of her eyes. He instantly reacted and held her hand and kissed it.

''Basket...suno...I'm sorry ki maine tumhe purpose kiya. Agar tum shaadi ki laye tayaar nahi hai tho-'', he was cut off bu Riddhima {Basket listen...I am sorry that I proposed to you...if you're not ready for marriage then-}

Riddhima held her finger infront of Armaan's lips signalling him to stop talking.

''Armaan...you stupid idiot...I love you to...of course main tujhe se shaadi karonge. Yeh khushi ki aason hain idiot'', she said kissing her ring.{Armaan,you stupid idiot,I love you too, of course I will marry you}

Armaan looked at her dazzled...Riddhima loed him? And she just accepted to marry him. Armaan was so happy he just couldn't keep his happiness inside.

He picked her up in his arms and started twirling her; her arms around his neck, smiling at how foolish he must've been looking to anyone who would've seen them like this.

He slowly put her down, staring into her hazel eyes.

''Riddhima'', he began, ''main jaante hoon ki yeh sab unexpectedly hua. Main chahte hoon ki tum khush ro aur tum apni time le lo. Main tumhare liye saath janam ki liye inteizaar kar saktha hoon, jo bhi tum karo main tumhare saath doonga...kayamath se kayamath tak. Agar tum iss shadi ke liye tayaar ho mujhe please batao. Main tumare liya intizaar kar sakti hoon.'' {Riddhima, I know that all this happened unexpectedly...I want you to be happy and take your time...I can wait for you in all 7 lives,if neccessary. I will be with you no matter what decisions you make. Till the end...I can wait for you.}

Riddhima looked up at Armaan with an expressionless face. She stood on her toes and gave him a small, sweet kiss oh his lips and looked at him with love in her eyes.

That kiss and those eyes were enough for Armaan to know that she was ready for this.

He responded by kissing her back on the lips. They shared a passionate, long kiss.

Stopping their kiss to breathe, Armaan and Riddhima hugged each other tightly.

''I love you Riddhima''

''I love you too, Armaan''

Armaan could tell she meant these words from her heart.

Armaan took her in his arms and hugged her with love. Riddhima was so happy, she was going to be Mrs.Riddhima Armaan Malik. She was going to marry the man she loved the most in this world.

They stayed like that for sometime until Armaan broke the hug and said,

''Bohot late hogaya...ghar chalte'' {Its getting very late...lets go home}

Riddhima,with a smile that seemed permanent, nodded her head yes.

The whole drive neither Armaan or Riddhima said a single word. There was a silence in the car. It wasn't an awkward silence...but a silence that expressed their love.

When they reached the Gupta residence Armaan walked Riddhima to her door.

They exchanged a quick good-bye kiss and Armaan left her doorstep.

Riddhima, still in her happy mood entered her house to find all the lights off.

Turning on the lights, she was greeted to a unanimous ''Congrtz!'' from a bunch of voices.

Riddhima looked to see her best friends Muskaan,Rahul,Atul,and Anjali, with huge smiles on their faces.

Then what she saw surprised her even more- her brother-in-law, Amit Kumar, came out from behind a wall and came with a huge cake saying ''Congrats Armaan and Riddhima!''

''Crongatulations, little sister'',said a voice from nearby.

Riddhima turned around to see her older sister,Sapna Gupta{now Sapna Kumar} coming down the stairs.

She smiled as she walked over to Riddhima.

Riddhima jumped and ran over to her, hugging her as if she only had 1 minute left to live. Then she turned to her sisters hsband,her jeeju,Amit.

''Amu jeeju!'' she cried hugging him ust as tightly as she had done earlier. {loving way of saying ''brother-in-law Amit''}

Amit hugged her back and congratulated her.

Riddhima was confused as to why they had gotten her a cake but she forgot about it in all the hapiness she was feeling.

Her sister Sapna and her were best friend-sisters. They both new if any of them had problem they could talk to each other about it. Riddhima and Sapna both were crushed they found out Sapna was moving Hong Kong; becasue Amit had gotten transferred there, but tried to hide her sadness considering she wanted the best for Sapna and her jeeju.

This was the first time they had seen each other in 7 whole months and both of them were over-whelmed. Riddhima was so ove-whelmed that she forgot about everyone else, except for Sapna didi.

''Di!'' she exclaimed overjoyed {older sister term}

"Ridz!", Sapna exclaimed in the same overjoyed tone.

''Didi pataa hai maine tumhe kitna miss kiya! Tumhe yahan aane mera din to banaya! Tu kitni der ki liye aare ho? Tumhara flight wapaas jaane ke liye kab hai?Tum kahaan-'' ,she was interuppted by her sister{Di!Your coming has made my day! Tell, how long are you staying here for?, when is you flight back?, where are you--}

''Ridz chill! Main jaldi wapaas nahin jaare hoon! Par tum mujhe bato...kaise kiya? {I am not going back soon...you tell...how was it}

Riddhima's confusion came back to her; and so did everything else she she had forgotten for a while.

''Di...kya?...kya kaisa tha? {Di what?..how was what?}

''You know'' she said with a naughy grin on her face,

''Know what?'' she asked obviously confused

''Oh ho Ridz tum bhi na...apni natak band karo aur sai-sai mujhe batao ki kaise thi?!'' {Oh ho...Ridz you too! Stop this pretending drama and tell me how it was?!}

''DIDI MUJHE SACH MUCH MAIN NAHIN BATAA KI TU KIS BARE MAIN BAAT KARE HAIN!'' Riddhima yelled. {DI I HONESTLY DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT...TELL ME CLEARLY!}

Sapna was taken aback, her sister never talked to her in this tone.

Ridz, realizing her mistake, said ''Sorry di...bas please mujhe saaf saaf batao ki tu kis baare main baat kare hai. Please'' she pleaded {Di Im sorry...but please just tell me what you are talking about. Please}

''Armaan-'' Now it was Sapna's turn to be interuppted

''Woh meri proposal ki baare main kare hain, Ridz'' {She is talking about my proposal, Ridz}

Riddhima turned her head towards the door...
