The reactions and behaviour of Daler on this show has been truly uncalled-for... Just shows the nature and character of the man... Its ok to point out mistakes, but the manner in which you do it is important... Palash looked just helpless tonite - as if he has nothing more to say now... And Daler doesnt even spare Palash - he keeps insulting him... The show wud have been better off without Daler and his mannerisms... I remember, he had once come to saregamapa - and what a rude comment he had given to someone like Nihira - what more can you say... He has lost it...

It has clearly become an ego issue for Daler and Ganesh feeds into it more. Palash is an educated, civilized individual and rightly so, he doesn't see the point in arguing with an obstinate Daler who is evidently on an ego trip. I feel bad for Palash because the way the judges are acting, it completely beats the purpose of the show. Contestants with the X Factor are being thrown out and the rest of the candidates are being constantly de-moralized by obnoxious and derogatory feedback. The Academy is clearly a place where the contestants are supposed to learn and instead of constructive criticism they are subjected to humiliation. Daler showed how illcultured he is when he insulted Ashutosh and made him sing that song..just to demonstrate how good Daler is. It clearly shows his insecurity as a person and as an artist. Disgusting!

thats because the joker Sen instead of training the students is getting somekind of sympathy by supporting the students, kick the joker out and the academy will get better, I promise.(well he wouldn't train the students, remember how he said music is something that should come naturally and you can't sing, what a joke. the joker believes that and thats why doesn't train the students)

oh plzzz... dont make a little discussion to a big JOKE.. respect others opinion..

Daler ji is absoloutly right when he repeatly mention to Palash Sir and to the students that they should do riaaz and controle there "sur".. Palash is very emotional when it comes to the students, and i feel he was too nice to Adi, thay boy really need to learn singing.. he hould be more strict..

Unbelievable, the uncultured, joker Palash drags Daler again and again into fight by his cunning emotional comments and the whole janta feels Daler is at fault.

Its not the joker who is helpless its Daler. Palash's job is to teach , correct and train the kids, when he has time and again gone to the institue and blamed the kids themselves then why in the world is he fighting with Daler?

Its the Joker sen who needs to be sent to an asylm

if u read my post, i have said only about the "manner" in which daler points out mistakes... i m not saying he shud not tell them that they r singing out of tune, but he needs to be civilised, not like a uneductaed dumb person...

Yes Daler is definately qualified to judge, but he is NOT the be-all and end-all, Although he seems to think that his opinion and his word should always be the final. He is definitely a great singer, but he is not the only good singer in the world. That having been said, yes, lots of the things he tells the students..need to be told. They do require improvement. Had he been completely unbiased and equally judged everyone, I may even forgive his lack of manners and ego.

The main argument here is that there is a way to say everything. Criticism should be given in a positive manner in order to help the contestant's to improve. He is obnoxious, condescending and derogatory. That is where he is wrong. You can be firm yet do so in a dignified manner and still get ur point across. It is amusing how he tries to get the final word in everything either by singing his stupid songs...or by arguing and being rude. That is not acceptable.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so is he. It's his job to judge and he should do so impartially, without any hang-ups and in a respectable manner. Throwing your weight around is not acceptable.

Yes, I remember the way he commented after Nihira's performance. I found him extremely rude. Nihira was and till date still is my favourite singer. I guess just cause you can sing well, doesn't mean that you can be a good judge. He has serious issues agaisnt newcomers I think. If he can't be nice what's the point of being a judge ? The whole idea of being a judge is to encourage ppl along with making a note of their shortcomes, not poke someone in the eye and saying, here you go dumba**, now sing properly !!! I still can't believe he went down so low to a level of self obsession when he sang "rang de basanti" after Ashu performed the song, he is such a show-off !!

No offence to Daler fans, but he going way over his limit !
