As a layperson I feel Nikhil does not have any X factor.

Yaar, we need to see things in perspective...I know for a man like me who loves Indian Classical music, I cant accept the words of Nikhil...But i can see that they want the candidates to improve...Listen to Ab Ke Saawan of Shubha Mudgal or any song by Sukhwindar...all are Raagas based , brilliant compositions and well sung...Audiences love these songs...dance to these tune..Bole Re Paphihara might be a gr8 song for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa...but i still think that they need to pick their songs well..

A couple of weeks back , Rehan sang Onkara...Brilliant and yet based on Classical...and there was a performance...

My point is that we need to understand that Daler,Nikhil and Palash dont have anything personal against anyone...They have different perspectives...Sur n Taal, Performance and X Factor...Once the candidates are able to combine these, we will get a winner who is going to stay with us for long...

Hope I am making sense

Cheers

i understand ur point, even i have been saying the same all along... but do u really mean that nikhil made that absurd remark for ritu's improvement😕 this, for me, does not hold good for Ritu's performance... i know she was not perfect, but she was not bad either - she was infact quite good... obviously, someone like Nihira wud make us see the difference no doubt, but Ritu by herself was very good yesterday... and talking of X Factor too, she danced very well - she has her unique style - and that is really very pleasing... So I dont understand Nikhil's comment at all - if u hear his comments, he was actually praising Ritu but was demeaning the song - jerk...

Again..it's not what he said..it's how he said it. I understand that the show needs higher TRP's but the judges should show some kind of discipline if not diplomacy.

Again, Nikhil wasn't wrong with what he said, and seconding Lalit's comment, if the contestants can be constantly harrowed to improve their singing, they need to be told to hone their personality too. But the judges need to stop being obnoxious, including Nikhil..there's a way to say everything..you can be firm yet dignified..you don't have to obnoxious or derogatory to get your point across.

Nikhil never was best of the VJs even, I don't know what X-factor jhola he bears himself. Cyrus is much more sensible than him, at least he doesn't pass on offensive remarks and admits the fact that he isn't educated at all when it comes to indian/classical music. I miss Arshad Warsi as a judge. I wish he had kicked out all these judges and bring back Shankar, Javed Akhtar and K.K. , K.K. had more X-factor than these stupid MTV VJs. !

Yeah, I didn't like the way he criticized Rehan's singing and the sofa comparison. 🤢 Could have been done in a more dignified manner.
