Ashutosh Jain and Amey Date

Does Ashutosh remind anyone of Amey Date from Indian Idol 2?

Lookwise, there is some similarity cos both have goatees and similar hairstyles.

Songwise, Ashutosh sang RDB and Parda Hai Parda. Amey was supposed to sing Parda in one of the II2 galas but the theme was changed. He did sing it on SRGM though. Amey sang RDB in folk song gala. So yes, some similarity in terms of song choice.

Daler got on Ashutosh's case regarding RDB and the low scale. Sonu wasn't happy with the scale Amey picked as well. Another similarity.

Amey is a much much better singer though, he is my favorite from II2. Ashutosh still needs to prove himself. I liked his RDB in the second gala. Have yet to hear his rendition of Parda Hai Parda.
