Fame Gurukul - the show claims that they are going to give fame to 2 contestants and prizes and contracts etc.

We also know that famous people have both fans and haters.

But just imagine, a lot of the famous people are self made and though they have their share of fans, and there are probably not that many haters, at the most - some people won't care about them and thats it, so they were not getting any negativity drawn towards them unless they do something really stupid.

To some extent this even applies to the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestants (not the new version with the mentors fighting over contestants etc.)

What Fame Gurukul is teaching/showing the contestant is to make people opinionated about them - either love them or hate them - the people with neutral opinion about them is very low?

Won't this negativity affect these contestant's careers in future?

Can these contestants survive after leaving gurukul even if they have the Fame Jodi award and contracts etc.?

Will the haters eventually forgive them?

man, i should write the captions for the fame gurukul website 😊😊-"Can..." "Will..."

Hi Me&My, You shd write the caption!!😉😆😆

Well, now your other serious qs....abt the negativity.......Here I go with my ans....................
FG thrives on three primary themes: Conflict, Competition and Transformation. The producers of these shows know what works, and it's not a bunch of roommates sitting around singing. The casting is done with the goal of creating drama whether it's infighting or a dramatic transformation!

I think there is an element of exploitation in mainstream reality TV, and I think that teens don't see it or really experience the full impact until the show airs. Teens don't get the implications of being on television in a format where people can start message boards and rip their real character to shreds. They are just figuring out how to deal with the real drama in their lives never mind the articially induced drama created by TV producers!

Poor kids have lot to face once they are out of GK!! But I'm sure they'll all do well in politics😉.

I must say Mink - very well said indeed 👏

I can imagine a lot of parents trying to find "hidden singing talent" - in their children. Singing guru's / dance classes - will make the most of this Reality Show drama.
