friends does anybody know what will happen if qazi and rup vote for Sandeep and rex(if made top student) gives his 2 votes to arpita. how will the tie be broken.

So far I am refraining from personal comments and attacks. But looks like some people do like to drag other into fighting mode. I do need to know what do you mean by "self made". How much do you know me if you know me at all?

And if people can compare bollywood movies with the contestants whats wrong with cricket - after all both are equally popular in india.

I can see this thread going the way the other one did. Please let us just discuss FG only.

Well about bollywood movies - they do have controversies - like paheli going as an official Oscar entry from India ahead of Black and Swades.

The above was not related to the forum, but can someone explain how is 3 Deviya related to the 3 girls mentioned there - or how is masti related to the 3 mentioned with the movie name? Although I was matching them with persons, I was at least giving reasoning behind them.

And about the sensitivity of the cricket issue, I just saw one of your previous message (regionalism) and now I know that it might be sensitive to some but not to the junta overall.

As for PM, I have already said I do not like fighting over these shows as they are not really REAL. I donot have time for all this.

Here are the facts as they stand:

1. Arpita was on Sare-Ga-Ma and if she was that good, she could have been a star by now, at least could have got one song to sing, from someone. There are a lot of people knowledgeable about music that must have heard her then and so many more would have heard her since. Obviously there is a lot missing in her - singing wise.

2. The same goes for the other contestants in the Fame Gurukul. They are not good singers that will get noticed other than if they are promoted through a Reality Show like FG or as PoP Stars with all the accompanying Stage/ Show/ Dancer...props. The only exception was Arijit and he has real singing talent. He is out of FG but you will hear him soon, I am certain. He is the only one case where you can say that his going is FG's loss. (My ideal Fame Jodi had him and Qazi.)

3. Now, if these FG guys have to be Pop Stars and depend on marketing muscle, good presentation, props... the best among the rest is Qazi. He has star power. He is an entertainer. FG would have been less than half the show it is, but for him.

4. I follow only two programs the best I can: SareGaMa Challenge and FG. As just a singing show,without Qazi, I would have dropped FG a long time back as would have most of the other viewers.

5. Look at it this way; the show is now all about Qazi supporters and the few Qazi opponents. What does that tell you?

5. Shankar said that Qazi would be great in the recording room and each of his songs would be a big hit. Ila ji has turned the corner from having no faith in him to now considering him as being very good, although somewhat inconsistently.

6. Now, take Qazi out of the FG pressure cooker. Give him normal time to prepare his songs (not 3-4 songs per week, 2 as an individual with full choreography plus all the FG live-show "activities"). He will rock. And in the right situation (without the huge audience noice and average acoustics settings) brings out perfect voice quality. Check out his Woh Tara song of Swades. Remember Shankar's comments.

7. My vote: Janta votes Qazi because he is the only true talent left after Arijit was sent packing by Arpita (lover of music?).

8. Put another of these FG guys with Qazi. Get good song writers/ composers/ choreographers/ trainers. Add the marketing muscle. Fame Jodi will at least get the same rating as FG is getting these days. Not bad.

9. Between Sandeep and Arpita, I have no favorites. They do not appeal to me. My FJ now is Qazi plus RR (No.1) and Qazi plus Rex (No.2)OK, Qazi plus Sandeep (No.3) if you insist. But no Qazi plus Arpita as they are not a Jodi. For that matter, it is hard to place Arpita as a Jodi with anyone other than Shamit. She should do more Riyaz and get back on SareGaMa after one year of hard practice. I wish her good luck for that.

y is every1 after IRock ... i think people here in IF just can not tolerate anything against Qazi who for sure is a PAZI ... if going by rex is fex, arpita is papita ....

Qazi is a bane to the talented singers of Fame Gurukul ..... because every week he eats one talented singer ... as janta votes for Qazi

it is unfortunately true at this stage that he is like saurav ganguly .... however, it does not do justice to Saurava Ganguly, as Saurav during the prime of his career was the bete noire for many bowlers .... was the very best opening batsmen in one day cricket and did a lot of good things in cricket ...... so IRock you shud not defame Saurav Ganguly in IF .....

just like the saying ... "Girte hain ghudsavaar hi maidaan-e-jung mein, woh kya khaak girenge jo ghutno ke bal chalte hain" ..... Qazi is still naive and has just started crawling ..... and Saurav Ganguly ... has been there for a long long time .....

Qazi may go upto any heights for whatever invisible talent he possesses (invisible to me atleast) ... but today he does not exist in the world of fame ...

You must have heard of Shriya Ghosal. She was on SareGMa. There were a bunch of us that watched a few shows and said that she would go places. Turns out the rest of the country and also the best music directors felt the same way. That is talent.

I am not saying that all the singers have peaked and can no longer improve. Who knows who can surprise who!

However, the one pure singing talent was Arijit (courtesy the "singer" Arpita) and he is gone. Now, please enjoy the show and let the Janta enjoy the show with Qazi. He is who they want.
