Fame Gurkul - Is it worth a watch?

I have been following the discussions over this blog so far ...

1. Do you think the faculty members were chosen in the right way ? Ila Arun? What does she know about singing? How many albums does she have to her credit ... make her stand with the contestants and she would be in the danger zone for sure ( thanks to Sony ... shw would get out of it too)

2. The other question that comes to my mind ... HOW much has Sony Tv given Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Akhtar and KayKay ? These guys should have been in Zee's SaReGaMa ... what are they doing here ....

What is surprising is KayKay's presence as well as Shankar's presence ... Javed Akhtar can be out of the league since he has the right to be .. he has always been media loving and needs attention ... BUT Javed Akhtar .... I love your work and what you have done ... you are really creative .... and you seem to be the only one who talks sense ....

3. Qazi .... Man this guy is a bigger politician that Shamit .... but he is good at what he does .... streaked hair and he just knows how to talk .... so ... be happy ... Qazi .. you are a big time looser ... but enjoy the ride while Sony wants you to ride over its ratings ...

4. Monica.... you dont have to feel bad ... this game is a hoax and so are everyone related to it .... if the game was fare ... they would not have brought you here in its first place ... they would have chosen old members so that the people could relate to.....

5. Ruprekha and Arpita ..... Gosh you bengalis .... when would this part of India learn how to play things right ? All politicians with all sweet talk ....

Arpita ... dont cry those tears .... they suck ...

6. The Heart Attack guy .... Arijit .. I support you in what you did professionally .... kill the best one out .... but your natak stole the show away ... you suck big time too ....

7. Shamit ... now you know what it feels to be in the seat where Kirti was ... you guys threw him out and now you dont cry about what happened to you .... You sucked anyways ... but you sang well !!!

Everyone knows ... no one is going to go to any heights in fame gurukul ... the ones who had to ... already have contracts .....

This is a public forum and u really shouldnt make racist comments. Like a contestant or dont like its up to u. But please dont make comments regarding their race. They are policticans have nothing to do with whether they are BONGS, PUNJABI, SOUTH INDIAN or anything. First try to understand whether the comments u are making are justified and learn how u should talk in a public forum and then try to judge people whether they are good or bad. As this is a singing contest and u r writing ur comments on that just make sure that most of the ruling singers were and are bengalis Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey, Hemant Mukherjee, Geeta Dutt and Kumar Sanu, Babool Supriyo, Abhijeet, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal and so on. So this part of India (Bengal) has produced lots of talent. Just get ur facts straight before u talk.

Fame Gurukul is still worth a watch. Even if you think about it as a scripted drama, it is better than those other dramas like Kusum, Jassi etc. etc.. 😉

I would agree with you in comparision with kkusum or jassi... FG is better scrippted drama.....

but I do't watch any drama.... waste of time...
