There's something about Javed that I really like. I like that he's unabashedly honest, but... well. He's judging a singing competition, and I think he needs to take into consideration the fact that he needs to be diplomatic at times. Sometimes he's funny, but sometimes he's flat out rude. For example, the way he was talking to Gurpreet, I was like "OMG!!" It was just rude. He forgets that he needs to encourage them, and he doesn't seem to be doing that. His jokes are funny - like when he told Qazi that he should open his mouth and sing just the way he opens his mouth and talks. That was mean, actually, but there was a tinge of humour to it, that even I, being a Qazi fan, laughed at. However, I think he's forgetting to draw the line between witty comments and rudeness.

Any comments?

I liked the judges early on. They were honest and weren't trying to be mean or rude for the sake of it. But I think Sony wants to create some drama between the judges, students and faculty to bring more mirch masala into the show.

Yes, he's been mean to Shamit as well today. That was horrible, really. He even argued with Ila, the principal! Sonynyu, it does seem as if they're doing that to bring spice into the show - but God, there's enough as is. It's a reality show, for heaven's sake - we don't need Ekta-like drama 😆

I think Javed has realised the games Shamit has been playing and is the only one saying it upfront!

Kudos to him!

Shamit has done it again while ousting poor Anubhav!

agree....i don't think javed is rude...he very honest and i deeply respect him...i loved the way he appologized to shammit at the beginning of the episode , the way he lectured him to be graceful....to be supportive of his friend/fellow student by saying that I'm not happy today b/c i feel some voted should have gone to gurpreet....and just loved the way he praised gurpreet for being a decent and shareef girl and advised her to gain confidence and that she will go along way... I truely repect him and Shankar...KK is ok too...but I don't with what he said that "everything is fair in love and war" ...i hope he doesn't mean to say that the contestants should try to win by hook or by crook...

i think Javed is beginnin' 2 be a little too harsh now .. and rude 4 one thing. He kept interrupting Ila Arun 2day (Aug 11 -- U.S.) and dat just didnt look rite. i mean, ok yea so he waz pissed..but let da lady speak her mind az well..

but at da same time .. Shamit haz been playing wid pplz heads..he really has ..

i think da judges are taking Simon's (American Idol) approach on things..but its not doing all dat well ..

I think Javed is being honest and upfront... he apologized to Shamit in the beginning of the episode because he thought he was wrong.. He said at the end too after blasting them for ousting Kirti as well thought about plan.. I think he was fully right in what he was saying.. He told Shamit, what if the students hadnt voted for your favor tnoight instead of Grupreet-would that have been right? Its was same way with Kirti. I think he explained it very rightly... also, he said that if anyone thinks Iam saying anything worng, speak out now.... why didnt the contestant speak out then... Ila was trying to defend the contestant, but dont defend them when they did wrong.. U r supposed to be the principal, who teaches them the right values-dont defend their wrongdoing...
