hey Sanchari,

i just watched the repeat. I had misinterpreted Shamit earlier. His crying was only about Kirti controversy. He did say that he considers Padma-mam as his mother. But nothing more was involved in that. I am sorry for this misunderstanding.

No doubt he's a good singer. He sung Kambakht Ishq really well tonight. As for the politics, well, I am sure everyone is biased when they vote. The students say they vote for 'sangeet' but I'm sure other factors play a role in their votes.
