Oops my bad I thought Sandeep was Suresh Wadkar's student.
Even though I do not like Qazi much as a singer I really felt bad when he said that faculty has never saved me. I think today they should give me a chance as I was not that bad. Even Shamit was hopeful that today faculty will save him. He was sure. His face became so amall when faculty declared Sandeep. Honestly today I felt ver very very bad for those two. The excuse for saving Sandeep was also very lame ie to encourage new contestants. 😕

Ya I agree with Shefali... They shouldn't save any1 just because they are new... GURUs can not be partial.. they should have saved the student who deserved it the most... shamit or qazi.
IF both of them sang batter than Sandeep...then Faculty made the wrong decision..

I agree that that he is not a good singer. But he is a great performer. I never like the stage performances of great singers like Sonu Nigam, Lata Mangeshkar etc. Despite being a great singers they suck as stage performers. Now take example of a Palash Sen of Euphoria. He is a treat to watch on stage but I don't hold him very high as a singer. Same is the case with Qazi. Singing is something that can be taught and perfected by practice. Of course one needs basic voice quality for that and I think Qazi posses's that to some extent. As far as performing goes I think that is not something you can learn. Even before you go the theatre or films institutes, one needs to have that spark in grained. Thats what I see in Qazi.
In short, I see Qazi as a complete entertainment package. I feel Bhartia Janata (Indian public) should give him a break. He deserves it.

Sonu Nigam is a good performer on the stage. Lata Mangeshkar does not have to perform at all. People just float on her voice.
I think its not fair to compare the big legends with the FG students.
