when Sony started the reality shows it was like the advent of a new era in the indian television for us.All of us were hooked on to the shows like indian Idol and Fame Gurukul.The Indian public for the first time felt that we are the ones who are in control of these shows as the result of these shows were based on the votes given by the public and this is why these shows were such a huge success immediately.

One of the reality shows started by sony was Fame Gurukul.The speciality of FG was that it was entirely different from the usual reality shows .Fg showed us the day to day routine of the contestants,their struggle with themselves and with their fellow contestants,their strenghts and weaknesses both a s a singer and as a person.FG told us the story of the 14 contestants of their love and bonding,their sharing and caring ,their laughing and crying together.We were amazed to see how much these contestants supported and helped each other despite the fact that they were in competition with each other.

Fame Gurukul besides being a normal reality singing contest became a saga of the human emotions of how 14 strangers react when they are thrown together in a singing institution with strict rules and regulations, away from their homes and families.

FG became our family as well.It was aired seven days a week and the contestants of FG lived with us in are living rooms everyday even if it was for half an hour.We waited eagerly for the FG episodes to air ,waiting impatiently to see who would be in danger taoday,who would be saved,wht will be the reactions of the contestants and the faculty and the judges.

FG has a unique format in choosing a top student every week,of putting four contestants in danger zone and then giving the power to the faculty ,the judges and the public and the contestants themselves to save them.None of the other reality shows have such a unique format.

FG showed us that how the gurus who seem so tough on the outside are so sensitive to various issues just like us.It showed us the rlationships between a student and teacher is not only of respect and fear but its also of love ,affection and sharing.

FG had become a part of our lives.It had a huge impact on its viewers.

Now that we have learned that their won't be another season of FG we are very disappointed.We were all eagerly waiting for FG to start.

FG is a unique show.Besides being a huge platform for the budding talent it has an inbuilt drama in it which is missing from the other reality shows.FG not only brings us close to the singing but to the singers as well.It not only lets us analyse the contestants as a singer but as a human being as well.

The young generation of today needs a show like FG much more than the normal reality shows because FG gives us lessons about the strenght of the character,respect for elders,helping each other which are all so much required by the youth of today.I hope tht u won't take away from us what we desperately need as a society.I hope that we have been able to convince you to start the FG again.FG has given us some of the best singers and performers so far and we crave for more.

Reality shows are very much entertaining to the audience. It gives us a chance to look at different ppl wid different character, heart, ambition n effort and feel them. It does abviously entertain people more than those same old boring soaps with the 'saas bahu' story. I believe your TRP is much higher than any other during reality shows like Indian Idol n Fame Gurukul is on air. These shows consists emotion, expectations, and lots of love. We laugh along with the contestants and even cry along with them. It has become a part of us. II n FG made lives..it made careers. If Abhijeet Sawant, Sandeep or Qazi tauqeer n ruprekha banerjee are in evreryone's heart, thats only because you have made the way to deliver our love to them. We want more of these stars.They represent India. Only you can make it possible. Please dont take this opportunity away from us.

I think shows like FG & II have higher trps then the saas bahu serials when they are on air. People talk about them and are crazy about their favourites. It gives a chance to all budding talents to come and showcase whatever they have in them. It's a great platform for all new singers who want to make it big. FG and II both are superb shows and we all are bonded with the contestants. It is a major part of our life so it cannot be finished like this. It can take sony to new heights of success. We anxiously wait for the shows and even their 2nd,3rd seasons etc. All of us want it to continue. The contestants of FG & II were introduced by sony and they are our stars. So sony people should also show whatever the stars are upto nowadays. How's there life in this limelight? We definitely have to get back FG & II and it will offcource bring a new breath of fresh air to the channel and will prove to be important for all....!!!
