Yes, there may be many views, but they may debated upon and contested, so dont take it to heart..
Look at how fan-mobs were killed in Karnataka for Rajkumar recently or temples are build for Big B..Fans of any celebrities would cheer for their idols it is a natural progression from hero-worship.. 😳
Having said that, Blind spots can be worked upon. I remember when Shaan had come I could not stand his voice and music (remember his albums with Sagarika? ), but today he has improved and I love him and is a revelation especially post ("Musu musu haasi"). The recent "Chand Sifarish" from Fanaa is a gem. Kishore da was untrained hence none..no MD wanted him, it was SD Burman (Sachin Karta!) who morphed him from a KL Saigal clone, and then RD took over. So, do not lose hope............................
I know QT has a long way to go, has to continue his training if he want to become a singer par excellence , and he has just started out, which he accepted in one of the episodes too.. And accept that he has to struggle.. But then what is a success without a struggle? Success is a journey and not a destination...😃
But personally I feel, given the **Showman** he is, he should try out in films and then branch out into playback.
However, I agree that QT is very blessed to have a vast profile of admirers. In my life I have come across very few celebrities who could garner such frenzy, (it may be shortlived who knows....😕)...
So, he must have something special to have such maas appeal across demographics...STAR-APPEAL.
The last one I can remember was Hrithik (post KNPH) and before that it was SRK(post Fauji), Aamir (post QSQT), Salman(post MPK )...these are some examples..Who becme instant rages... They all have survived..😛. But there is a Kumar Gaurav also...😕
So, if QT works hard he will too..Hrithik was even a stammerer, but look where he is today..just coz of his immense hardwork..Rani had a husky voice which was criticised when she started out.......The very KKKKK....of hammy SRK became his trademark later..Negatives has to be converted into positives... That is what QT has managed on a small scale in the FG laboratory, hence I personally root for him, and see potential in him. But I am not GOD, so may be wrong in my judgement..
I know personally some aged people who is well-versed in music love him to a kid of 20 & 15, for his sheer passion.
I too am surprised by his appeal. This proves that Star appeal is not about unlimited talent but something else, that undefinable factor and charisma..
