i read somewhere that meri mehbooba was not an original...and now...yeh pal. dunno whether it is or not...and dont want to comment either. if its true....then its only Sony who should be blamed. sony could have done better.

i think sony is busy with their business strategies.....producin reality shows and hositn shows and concerts.

Sony hit the jack pot when they discovered Qazi and know for sure that the very name Qazi sells....so i guess they r not really worried about theier music.

whats evenmore disgustin ....is sony usin fj to promote their other tv shows. 😡

i know nothin about pakistani music whatsoever. (no offence to any pakistanis). but even if the original is a pakistani song....it does'nt matter to us.....we will continue to appreciate qazi and refrain from commentin as to who is a better singer.

qazi has a huge fan followin and people who love him will always love him no matter what.😊

yes i heard the song its somewhat similar to yeh pal,if u put the words in rooh ki hai pyaas u will find it out.

meri mehbooba's a copy of an arabic song... i like arabic music and all but u noe all this copying kinda sux to know that the music ur listening to was just ripped off of somewhere else. i agree totally wid u dan16, sony knows whatever qazi does sells so they aren't really focusing on original music... or copyright 😛

well .. there are so many songs that are taken from everywhere around the world .. i dun think there's anything wrong with it .. but the bad and sad part is that if they have taken the concept from someone, they should ACKNOWLEDGE it ... Well when I first heard Meri Mehbooba .. I could def. tell that itz an arabic song .. But whatever .. I hadnt heard Junoon's Rooh ki Pyaas before .. But I just heard it .. And yes, I do agree that Yeh Pal is an upbeat version of it .. !

As Denya said, Qazi or Ruppu shouldn't be blamed for it .. Sony BMG or the composer himself should be the one raised this question ..

But one this is for sure ... these songs ROCK .. Just like Qazi and Ruppu .. !! 😃
