to tell you very frankly, as a senior project manager, the only platform you need to know is ms word and a little bit of ms projects. i do miss the days when i would sit tearing my hair trying to get some coding problems thru. now it is more of man management and client interactions.

you can take up some new course, and ask your company to sponsor it.

You r a senior PM .Gr8.Its very nice of you.Once you become PM all your headaches will come to an end.But for becoming a PM we have to work hard and get exposures.I am in the entry level. 😊
But somehow i got addicted to this Linux platform.So like to stic in it.

Yes i am doing a course in Device Drivers and our company told they will sponsor me i told no need and doing myself.

Hey, thats a gr8 platform, and since nobody else is around(Saks appears to have sunk into her servers), let me tell you don't shift away from it. Get a good grasp on the sys admin part and try to master kernel programming. great fun, and lots of value addition too.

Will do that.Kernel programming is really interesting.Even i thought of doing some certification in Linux.But like to be a developer more than a sys admin.what do you say??

you are the beginning of your career. always get going as a developer - master it thoroughly (though it is never possible to learn everything). later, you can think of sys admin.

That's why i get irritated when i am forced to sit idle.Idle mind is Devils workshop they says.As a beginner i should be occupied na.
Then finally one fine day,i will sit and do management work happily like u 😉
