i wont say he tries to imitate him... but i feel tht he sounds like him sometimes.

theres nothing much u can do about tht.. for eg i dont think rex tried to sing like udit narayan.. his natural voice is like tht ... he cant do much about tht

ok....this is what i think about the two-remember i love arijit and sonu...

sonu nigham:

he is an established singer in the music industry.he has got a voice which has NO COMPARISON.he is good at performing.the show-sensational sonu nigham was really reallyy great.he was quick in attracting the viewers with his performance+heavenly voice.

arijit singh:

he is a singer who is emerging.he has such a good sur control and strong voice.he will make it big in the future.he was bad at performing first but now he is best in performance...he too is quick in attracting the audience.he is jusss the best....

from my point of view...both of them have almost the same qualities but sinu's voice is more sweet.
but, sonu is bigger than arijit in age.is umr mein arijit itna accha gaata hain.
itsnot fair comparing pplz of differnt ages...esp when sonu is almost 14-15 yrs elder to arijit.
sonu is established...arijit isnot as famous as him...
but yes....i do believe he will be the second sonu...

arijit is a very talented singer.. i hv no doubt he will do well and bcome the "first arijit singh" as opposed to "the second sonu"

but like i said he has a long way to go still.. i am sure u wud agree.

btw i know many ppl in this forum think arijit was the best in this competition but i feel tht rahul was better

arijit is more popular i guess and ppl vote on the basis of tht... qazi won the fg didn't he 😉

no, he doesn;t remind me of Sonu cos like lots of ppl here said, he has his own unique style. he reminds me a bit of Kailash Kher sumtimes, in his singing, but not consciously. at the end of the day, he's pretty original and will surely go places.

me too thinks he has unique voice. i d like arijit to sing adnan sami song next and make that song his own. leave a arijit stamp on that song. 😉 love ure voice arijit. 🤗

but for him to do that, he has to stay in competition, so keep voting arijit fans.👍🏼.

uski smile bhi achchhi hai... aur wo bahut pyara hai

it will just be a darn shame if arijit doesnt win this.

i also think the major difference between sonu nigam and all established singers and arijit is that sonu nigam and others never had to participate in singing competitions where janta would vote for them even on basis of personality or looks sometimes (which indian janta is famous for doing 😡 ). so that makes a huge difference. ofcourse sonu nigam is just an amazing awesome singer, i'm just saying arijit has what it takes to become the next sonu nigam in some years and well he's only 18!!!!!!!

No way, Arijit is a good singer but he has a long way before he can become anything like Sonu. Pila, I think if looks are what are priority, Sonu looks real cute- awesome smile, awesome persona. 😛
Arijit is terrific, but u have to grant Sonu a much higher positon. Just my opinion...

nisha no one is saying he's better than sonu nigam, ofcourse he's not. my point of starting this topic was to say arijit's got great potential and if he keeps it up he can perhaps become the next sonu nigam in FUTURE
