Keisha, the journos don't say where they got their info from. But they do quote him on saying usha uthup was wiping her eyes. A word of caution from me though: just like u shudnt believe everything u read online, take everything India Today says with a pinch of salt. Cos who knows what the truth is. lol.

oh btw talking bout Qazi's popularity, even the India Today editor has written this in the editorial:
"I do not watch the popular TV show Fame Gurukul but there was no way I could have escaped it. Everyone in my house watches it and long before I kept hearing "How cute is Qazi?" I decided to check it out, and was hooked like million of others."

OMG i cannot imagine someone like Aroon Purie hooked on to FG... 😆

Waise these India Today ppl had better give me sum commission for doing this..lol..unless they put me in jail instead.

Ok it says Qazi came for the audition after borrowing money from his mother (but i thought he said his uncle got him the ticket????)

He had been preparing from the moment he saw Indian Idol. "He knew that his voice alone wouldn't get him there, so he decided to package himself, playing on his strengths".

It says his hair was styled by Adhuna Akhtar, who styled Aamir's hair in Dil Chahta hai. And he was given anti-fits to make him look less thin.

"Today, as part of the Fame Jodi, Qazi has managed to get the highest ever votes for anyone on a show."

He explains his popularity by talking bout what he said when he was in the danger zone..where there's a will, there's a way..i will wait for a better tomorrow..etc
