OK so today I saw that dress and Mandira inside that dress.... well i think that dress was beautiful, nothing wrong with it just the stage and the platform was not suited for the way she was (mis)-handling the dress, and plzzz she can look much better in other dresses but this one simply was not made for her - I can imagine a Shilpa Shetty of a couple years back or Sonali Bendre of Sarfarosh or Sushmita Sen in that, but Mandira does not go with that dress. They have/had the kind of body and figure for that dress, but Mandira was looking a bit bigger for it. She can be glamorous without resorting to such dresses - take shadi ka laddoo movie for e.g., she didn't wear such dress there.

Also, she could not carry the dress well, and that made it look indeccent other than the fact(s) that the skirt (or whatever it is called in hindi) was a couple of inches too low and the top was a couple of inches too up (w.r.t the situation/stage/platform). Again that would have been OK in a movie or on F.T.V. or M.T.V. or Channel V or even may be in some party also if she is comfortable wearing it, but this was a t.v. show for gods' sake and atleast hold the pallu properly lady... there was no wind either to blame for it. Well, that was just my view, but again people may differ on that, I just did what I said - that I will post my views after I see it.

Beachwear on the beach and Gowns for an evening out-look good....... but Mandira looked a tad desperate ......

Its all in the carrying off - of a garment...... like you rightly said...... All about the person and place...

I was not interested in watching Mandira and her skimpy dress...what really amused me was how she kept holding Javed Sahab's hand when he was trying to announce the winners and the way she hugged the three contestants...lol Qazi almost fainted 😆 and yeah the way she wanted Abhijeet to whisper in her ear... i wonder what Abhijeet must have said...I guess he wud have said:

Mandira, pallu sambhalo !
