People always vote for the underdog reagradless of their abilities. HE said in the very first episode where he was put in danger zone, "agar mai haar gaya to mai us din ka intezar karunga jab mai jitunga. Agar woh din kabhi nahi ayega, to bhi mai uska intezaar karunga" I am sure that all of Qazi fans will agree that he is no super excellent singer, although he does well and if he works hard can become super duper.
Its his stamina to stay in a competition in which the contestants, most of the faculty and his singing abilities are against him. It requires alot of guts and character to stay in such a hostile environment and still smile every week and poerform with gusto.
That is his charm and that is why the public wants him to win. We all dream in life that somehow one day we dould make it big and show all of those that mocked us that we could doit.
By voting for Qazi, each person in a way lives out their own dreams...an underdog who had no chance to become the top one day!
