Arpita pulls a fast one
In the quiet of the night, Arpita slipped away. Or did she really? Next morning when Ruprekha, Qazi and Rex found her missing they got rather worried and then the arrival of policemen in the Gurukul set the events spinning.

The police wanted to know if the students had anything to do with Arpita's disappearance. By the looks of it Rex and Ruprekha seemed to have caught on, but Qazi seemed pretty upset. Arpita's arrival in the Gurukul ended the chaos, which actually had made the contestant forget their tension for sometime. The fact they fell for the prank shows that how much this competition has come to mean to each of them that they thought something like this was possible.

Standpoints
Rex - He had nearly left the Gurukul but the wild card round gave Rex another lease of life. The fact that he is untrained has always been against him but his energy and latent talent plus is good nature have helped enter the last four. He feels that he can perform, sing and is versatile.
With these three arrows in his quiver he is feeling confident and thinks that he has a good chance to last out till the very end. Rex has been a good buddy of Qazi but has also been honest with his opinion about Qazi's talent. He feels that though Qazi is a good performer but has a long way to go when it comes to singing.

Qazi - He is gaining confidence too and now feels that his singing has improved and in fact he is a better singer than Rex. His success in the Gurukul only proves this but Qazi is also clear that he will not give up his quest for perfection when it comes to music and is going to learn singing and train even after this competition. At the moment he is keen that Rex manages to survive this week along with him of course. At the moment he is still riding high on the popular support he is receiving.

Arpita - Has been rather down with the possibility of her leaving the Gurukul looming. With encouragement from all quarters, she is mustering up her courage, which is all she needs because singing talent and stage presence she has in abundance. Her inferiority complex has come from the fact that she feels that Ruprekha has been having it easier and she has been struggling in the danger zone more though her singing has been at par.

Learning the ropes
Mahima Sumaiya, editor of Screen, the popular film magazine visited the Gurukul. She was there to make sure that these guys know how to handle publicity when it comes their way. Already, lot of media interest is being generated around them. It is important to be able to take criticism in the right spirit along with praise was her advise.

Lonely four
Now with just four in the Gurukul, there is space galore. Earlier it was not possible to find an empty room but now each of them has a room to themselves when it comes to practicing. Time is also hanging heavy as there may be times when they do not meet each other. Now games are being devised to make sure they interact and keep up their spirits.

One for the road
In the "Sach and Jhoot" game, it became clear that:
. Everyone thinks that there is more to the relationship between Rex and Ruprekha
. Qazi is acting all the time
. Arpita thinks she's a cut above as she is a trained singer
. All are convinced Rex has had many girlfriends in the Gurukul so far
. The favourite partner for the Fame Jodi is Arpita, both Ruprekha and Rex want her as her partner
. Nobody seems to be keen to have Qazi as a partner.
