@mnx you are correct. Only one who takes up challenges can bring in change, can transform. In the post where I mentioned about colonel's choice I had also mentioned in mythology Goddess Parvati is also called Shakthi, meaning power. I as a woman have always believed every woman possess the power to transform. It is not without reason proverbs like " Hand that rock the cradle rules the world" was made. It was indeed in acknowledging the transforming power a woman holds or shall I say the transforming power is a feminine energy which even men can have. Real transformation happens when stereotypes are broken, boundaries are crossed and for that great passion and determination above anything else has to be there. Anjali is exactly doing that and slowly she is getting support from many quarters to bring in real change for her father.
There will be always question does lying make Anjali a bad daughter. But the question is if she had not taken that step would she have been able to bring in the transformation. You see the difference between therotical sanskaar on what should be done and what should not be done. Being a ideal daughter in theory would not have helped Anjali. But listening to her heart even if that meant breaking some so called theortical sanskaar will bring in the necessary change not only for her life but may be also for some other girl child also.

@shruthiravi well said about woman being Shakti is very true. The team seemed in better spirit after Anjali joined them.
Regarding her lying, it's said if it's for a greater cause, it's allowed. It's highly circumstantial. Only those who are in that situation can decide about right or wrong. As Khanna had told Abhyankar,"I can only give advise but the decision is to be made by the person on field.

Abhyankar's biggest advantage is training people at NIM allows him to understand different thought patterns. He knows how to reach all by adopting different convincing methods to make his students understand. A teacher knows how to handle many at a time. To understand what is going on in their mind he has to stay update & he does update his software. That's why he pointed out his soldier's (Anjali) mistakes & appreciated her work too. But not to forget that's after seeing he saving act.
Jagat is a father. They are 99% over protective about their daughter. He is the same father to whom Anjali went in the morning with his breakfast, the day she had to leave for Delhi. He was reading news paper. She stood there. He asked her, what do you want? A father understood a daughter's way of asking, demanding. He didn't need much convincing, said yes soon. If he was that conservative then would have told her to just sit at home. 😆
As per the standard criteria of his responsibality he wants to get her married to Vidhan, whom he likes. It's funny how both Jagat & Bhardwaj are excited about the marriage but their children are least interested.
It's very difficult for Jagat to accept the fact that no one is following his orders. Neither Anjali, Abhyankar, Khanna. Anjali is far from his direct reach. He is helplessly reacting to a situation he can do nothing about. This is a helpless conservative father, whom even Vidhan is able to refuse. He is like getting attacked on a battle field whose attacks are not affective.
Even in real life some of us must have experienced parents refusing to accept their child's career option, which is not right according to them. But they do accept, appreciate, feel proud of, when their child succeeds in their life.
Everyone has an Everest in their life. To reach their they have to cross a Kumbhu first. Jagat too has to cross his Kumbhu to understand Anjali.
I won't be surprised if he'll start supporting his daughter whole heartedly after some time.
Such characters are taken, inspired from real life. Fathers like Jagat are there & they do change, learn to accept, respect their child's wish, dream.

I agree with Sruthi and I agree with Minakshi. Both of your posts have just said the things which I have in my mind after watching those episodes.

Colonel changed because he wanted to change, that was his wish because he understood that upgradation of thoughts is needed to understand wider perspective of thoughts from different people. While Jagat is not changing any time soon because he do not want to change at all, he is just feeling helpless because he cannot reach to anjali directly and instead he is only thinking about anjali disobeying his orders but he have never given a thought to what his daughter has done. He should be prud but he isn't. Hopefully, we can see some change in him, gradually.
