My love for Akaash is something I am extremely proud of and I really feel we have Gaurav and Shikha Maa to thank for the person we see him as. Their love, support and acceptance prevented the spoilt and pampered teenager in Akaash from crossing over to the dark side after his parents' death.

From sleeping over at Gaurav's to eating Shikha Maa's parantha, in a way the Akaash of today is a product of these two bringing him up all over again. I'm sure Akaash's parents were amazing who taught him to be a good human being, but the nuances in his personality as an adult are a result of the Shikha Ma's upbringing, the upbringing she gave Gaurav and which spilled over to Akaash through their tight friendship.

When Gaurav's ghost starts talking to Shikha Maa, scolding her for becoming 'lazy', I felt like I was seeing Akaash scolding her, just with a different face. The world can be brash and cruel, and it's people cynical and cold. So when someone as warm and affectionate as Akaash or Gaurav or Shikha Maa come in the picture, it is difficult to accept their genuineness without suspicion. Those 4 minutes between Shikha Maa and her late son summed it all up for me. No one will ever understand why she hugs Gaurav when she hugs Akaash. They will never know why in Akaash, Shikha Maa doesn't see Gaurav's killer. She sees GAURAV.

awesome post. 👏
Gaurav never died, he is still alive in the form of Akash. Akaash, with the blessing of shikhama and gaurav love he will touch the sky just like his name and he will forgive himself soon and will conquer his Everest.
I too felt like Akaash scolding Shikha ma when gaurav ghost appeared.
The bond these three have, its beyond anything perception.

Awesome post! Yes, gaurav is still among them..his memories are not meant to be forgotten! Dn't knw why seema masi find out akash as gaurav's murderer..what that worst thing happened, it was beyond akash's capability! She should try to see the positivity!

Here I was dreading that Gaurav's hallucination would make Shikha maa feel guilty but this is where the show stands tall and different to stereotypes.

I also appreciate them showing the human side to Shikha maa. No matter how much she loves Aakash, it must've been extremely difficult to get past that phase where she can wholly forgive him in her heart. With Seema Masi constantly drilling negativity in to her it cannot be easy for her.

Seema Masi is being unreasonable but I guess she just needs someone to blame. Being in the media is a risky profession if one covers the kind of stuff Akaash and Gaurav did. But that's not what bothers me. I am actually more concerned about Akaash learning to forgive himself and understand that it wasn't his fault. He knows exactly what happened and yet he blames himself. It's so sad :(

Aww, were you really? That thought honestly didn't even cross my mind! But now that you said it, yes that could've been a way to go but I am so glad it didn't! Seema Masi's taunts can't be easy so I think Gaurav came at the right time to tell her to listen to her heart. She KNOWS Akaash and Gaurav and what they shared. She knows Akaash can never be responsible for Gaurav's death and that's what makes it so special. The scene got me really emotional. Akaash is amazing in his own place but she must really miss Gaurav :(
