Mrs.Moreland hands over the orders to release Manu to Manson.

Nanasaheb is heart broken to see the sad state of Moropant. After coming outside, Moropant informs Tatyaguru that the British officers undressed him in front of Manu.

Later, Mrs. Moreland feels bad for Manu as she had to go through so much of torture. She offers a ride back to the palace.

Bajirao is informed about the return of Manu. He decides to give her a grand welcome. Meanwhile, Manu is not allowed to enter the palace from the front gate as Vahini Saheb has given instructions that she should enter from the rear gate.

Nanasaheb decides to take matters in his hand and speak with Vahini Saheb. Mrs.Moreland finds all this very strange.
