The talented and good looking Mayank Gandhi who amazed viewers with his performance as the perfect' man in Million Dollar Girl is all set to enter Star Plus' Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera (Beyond Dreams Entertainment) as a villain.
Playing Dilawar, the sahukar who would lease out money, the guy will get into the bad books of Veera (Digangana Suryavanshi). With a heated argument transpiring between them, Veera will go on to plant a tight slap on Dilawar leading the guy to loath her. How he goes on creating issues in her life post that will be for viewers to see.
Talking on his comeback as a negative role, the actor shared, "It feels so good to play such a challenging character. It is a very raw character and out and out villainous adding to the impact of the role. With the producers trusting me with another show, I am all geared up to give a zabardast performance (smiled).
When asked how he is managing the Punjabi language, Mayank said, "My Bhabhi is a sardarni so I tend to speak to her in Punjabi. Also I have loads of friends with whom I converse in the language and thus it wasn't really difficult. Also watching Punjabi films helped me and thankfully on TV you don't need to go all authentic and have to speak in Hindi to let viewers understand dialogues better."
And finally when we asked him if he misses romancing girls on screen, the actor laughed, "Of course I do! But honestly as an actor one should concentrate on leaving an impact on whatever roles they are trusted with rather than being wishful. I am thankful that I am one of the few actors who is getting to play varied roles at the same time."
