SHe said rightly that Veera might be modern and studied outside, and this is Pind...one needs to be careful about relationships too...If veera says she is deeply in love with baldev and tells that he is the person she wants to marry no matter what- the same Ratan will have no issue. She just has an issue of "still trying to know each other more" and this "hiding" part...

if you fall in love with a uneducated,jobless guy and your mother find that guy in your bedroom at mid night what would be her reaction.

agr mai ratan k jagah hoti to i would have slappd veeba at first place n would have never accepted him as damaad.

I feel that Ratan is upset with Veera mostly because shes concerned about how VeeBas relationship might affect Ranvi and Gunjan's relationship. Shes worried their relationship might cause a strain on Ranvi/Gunjan's marriage or a rift between the two families.

Tbh she didn't really seem that bothered about Baldev/Veera sneaking around. Her reaction was quite lukewarm and she was quite aloof. She shed a few tears and scolded Veera a little.That's about it. It's not like she forbid Veera from seeing Baldev, altogether either. She only objects to a romantic relationship between them but hasn't stopped her from associating with him... She didn't seem particularly angry with Veera for sneaking a guy into her room at night either (like most parents would be) or disapproving of Baldev as a potential husband for Veera because she thinks he's not worthy of her. She was mad because of different reasons, not because of the typical concerns a parent has.

The way she dismissed Veera was also really strange and seemed cold hearted of her. She was not willing to hear anything Veera had to say in regards to her feelings for Baldev.

Friends, I respect all your views, but can someone fall in love after calculating all ifs and buts? If so shall we call it love? I believe she is well aware what RanGan means to Veera and till date what she has one for them. If she was concerned about Ranjan then She should have also thought what will happen to Veera and Bansuri and even after catching them in such an awkward situation, she is OK with their friendship and not love😲? May be it's a battle between her heart and brain, where her heart wants to say yes for Baldev, but her brain is not allowing her to do so.

Look we are fine with baldev going to veera room late at night because we like them and wish we get a scene of them but think practically is it right to sneak in midnight to your lover home. if they miss each other that much what about calling the other. come on in this modern era they could have opted for calling each other then sneaking in.

it not like they dont get to see each other wise there are plenty of way they can see each other in broad daylight. no one knows about their realationship and both their family dont mind them hanging out since they think they are firends. look it is not city and even if it was a pind ratan seems to be open minded enough to let her daughter have enough freedom.

so i think Ratan was justified. like someone above mentioned if veera said she will marry baldev only and she just thought of waiting for the right time to tell maybe ratan would not have told ranjan life is also included.

even in western countires if two break up they can hardly be cordial with each other and their families will never be on the same page again. so it is two families involved and i agree with whatever ratan thinking so far is right .
