The four 'leads'!

Comparison of individual tracks of all the four leads of the show EVKAV! (yeah 4! dunno how)


GUNJAN
Her individual track started right frm the initial months of the leap itself. Firstly it was focused on how she is treated by her cruel Mom & evil Bro! Her never ending bechari jaap & the ever annoying Caneda bhajans. She wanted to marry an NRI & go away frm the Pind so that she can run away frm her "bad" family & find some happiness! She got a rishta frm a fraud NRI family which was broken off by RanVeera! So to take revenge she lead Ranvi on & then rejected his proposal infront of the whole Pind... insulting him & his whole family! Then to take revenge frm Veera, she disclosed the biggest & most painful truth of her life... she being an illegitimate daughter of SS!
Then her casting couch & vanity van fiasco, chori-chakari, running away with Jagjeet, treating Ranvi as her servant, blah blah tracks ran for months! Add to that her occassional mahaanta dauras she gets frm time to time which accounts for another 2-3 detailed episodes!
So first her dreams were broken but finally got fulfilled! She apparently wanted a family who wld worship her even after all her kaands... & she got exactly that!
Feb 2014-April2014! Many detailed epi in between too like Ranvi's birthday fiasco & Chanchli track!


RANVI
His dream was to see Veera managing the KV works! That is already fulfilled. Second Gunjan dream... he got that! And now the singer track... PH is investing so much money to make this track work... brought stars like Shibani & Toshi-Sharib + all the new entries + composition of new songs by a contestant of India's Raw Star!
PH can invest so much money in all this but cannot invest money in proper wardrobe of the other actors in the show.
On top of that episodes are wasted for manaoing him even for smallest of things!




VEERA
She sacrificed her dream of studying in a foreign university for her family & coward dead father's dream! She didnt let anybody know abt her pains after knowing her birth truth! Became literally obsessed with the happiness of her Veerji & family!
We were never shown her feelings abt anything... her pain on being blamed by Gunjan during Ranvi's birthday fiasco, Ratan accepting her... the main plot of the show, was wrapped up in just two episodes! After that she never felt like an outsider even after knowing that her own biological parents are dead... I mean thats an expected human behaviour!
Now even Ranvi doesnt remember anything abt her dreams. Although she got a small love realisation track! Otherwise she is only been shown solving everybody's problems!




BALDEV
The less said the better about him! He is only treated as Veera's love interest. He did have Sarpanch track to his name where although being shown as a negative character, he managed to gain sympathy! He was shattered after losing the elections, but his breakdown was shown only for few minutes and over!
Was used as a mere comic filler most of the time, no proper love realisation track either! All thanks to Vishal's awesome acting skills, it wasnt difficult to see Baldev's love for Veera even without any realisation track!
Even after getting the minimum screen space & importance, he's the most popular & best character among the rest and will continue to remain that way!


Mr Producer in his interview had said that they believe & give equal importance to all the characters in the show!
Whom are you trying to fool Mr Patnaik?! The whole assessment is written above.


P.S. Sorry for the long post! Thnx for bearing with me! Comment if u r still alive!

They have actually forgotten abt VeeBa's dreams. But I am hoping against hope that after Ranvi's singing track they will concentrate on their other leads as well.


Now I think even they have got the hint that the singer track is a bore and hence are trying to bring loads of sideys so that kuch na kuch drama hota rahe. But I fail to understand how it will help the track? Kaun jaanta hai inm logon ko? They could have brought in new comers and people would have still cared a damn!


Gunjan's dream has been done with and so we always see her side main. So thats a good thing.


Baldev ka sarpanch track tha of more than a month and that was incomplete. I will wait. I think Ranvi ka ye track khatam hone ke baad they can finally concentrate on the interesting bits!

More than Baldev, I want to see if the makers show Veera pursuing her dreams.. She wanted to study abroad. Ab toh paise bhi bhar bhar ke aa jayenge Ranvi ke pas. Lets see if he sends her abroad for higher studies.

thats wat everybody wants to see too! but i doubt they will show something like this!
there has not been any mention abt her dreams of studying in a foreign university!
or she wld have stated this as one of the reason behind not wanting to get married now!

Unless and until they do something to improve someone's acting ... whatever they do is going to be a waste ...

Optimistic nahi.. What is there in the singer track ki meko farak padega? 😆 Sarpanch track was so much better written. And they didnt even need to bring in new characters.. Bas Baldev hi kaafi tha to play the grey and black characters. Ranvi's track will wrap up in another 2 weeks. And they have to do so much to make the track interesting. Its something they 'have' to do not what they 'want' to do. Bolte hai na dubte ko tinke ka sahara. Ab vo ho raha hai iss track main. Hence all the cameos.

Sending her abroad would mean a acha khaasa 2 yr leap 😆 Ab it is a tricky situation. Though I want her to go I am sure many ppl will bash her saying ki Baldev ko akela chhod diya and all that 😆
But God.. It will be awesome if they show something as progressive as this and Baldev supporting her.

How does that matter?! When the character itself is dumb, weak & boring! Good actor can save a weak character only for a limited period of time... not permanently!

i dont think veera is ignored.infact veera has been most highlighted chrcter.cv made sacrifice her dream.cv made gunjan shaitan to make veera angel &glorify ranveera bond.they put nanad bhabi tashan on lines of famous saas bahu drama bt did nt click.ranvi became doormat to glorify gunjan &dumb to glorify veera.nw cv r redeeming ranvi chrcter.cv like three leads. i doubt baldev is lead.he is only 1 who is either ignored or used as filler.&only he is the most talented &brilliant among four.pathetic cv.
