Baldev - Possibly pretending?

In the earphones scene, when Veera firstly tells Baldev she has feelings for him, his head suddenly jolts up.

This to me seems as if he heard her but is pretending to have not done so.

What are your thoughts?

No, he wasn't pretending!
Baldev would've not been pondering over his undeniable attraction towards Veera if he was pretending!!
Just like Vishal said in his interview Baldev has got a khubsoorat dil 😳 and he doesn't have ulta-seedha dimaag 😛

Absolutely no...that too Baldeva...not a possibility...He is too cute and sweet.. He will never act atleast not in front of Veera

Probably Vishal made a mistake while acting...but character Baldev and situation ke hisab se..he cnt pretend..

I think his head was jolting up as a reaction to the songs he was listening to...he was engrossed in listening to the songs and so he had shook his head as a reaction to a particular beat of the song and not what Veera said. And as already Nayana said, if he had heard what Veera said he would not have been introspecting his own feelings...He may be grey shaded but beneath his tough exterior there is a pure,innocent soul. He can avoid the situation but pretense is not his forte.
