Is Baldev actually in love with Veera?

Do you guys think Baldev is doing all these nice things for Veera so that he can win her trust and then later get back at her for the Sarpanch thing??? I was thinking about how easily he forgot about his one and only dream to become a Sarpanch after the mala fiasco. And plus at the end of his outburst with Bansuri, after Ratan was elected, I was so sure that he wanted to ruin Veera.

This came across my mind because Baldev himself was confused about his feelings for Veera when he wanted to marry her. Remember on their date, Baldev was wondering why does he feel Veera's pain during the bangle scene. This shows that he doesn't know that he is in love with Veera. So is he doing this for revenge??

Maybe I am just worrying for nothing, and he is actually is in love because he does get jealous when any guy comes near Veera. I think I'll be sure after I watch the whole Poland sequence. Anyways just wanted to know about your point of view.

One thing is for sure, Veera has fallen head over heels for our Baldeva.

He loves her nd loves her loads he didn't realize it then he hasn't realised it now. His eyes are the biggest proof of how he feels for her

It's the EYES baby! You can't fake it. Baldev is totally in love. Also his concern for her is genuine. It has a truly organic feel to it. It's like it's just there and he can't get rid of it!

Even when he and Veera were not on talking terms after the election, when he made her fall and sprain her leg, he felt terribly guilty. He was hurt, seeing her hurt! That was the first time ALL of us were 100% convinced that he was truly in love. Coz before he was just chasing her around and even though we knew he had a thing for her, no one knew how deep it went. But that scene and when he creeps into her room to check on her, made it clear what his feelings really were!

Even Baldev dosent know what this pull he has towards her is! He has NEVER named it. So no I don't think this is revenge. IF the CV's pull a fast One like that, I will be hell pissed! Coz we are watching an authentic love story here. I don't want some pathetic "revenge drama" to come between it! This is not Gunjan...this is Baldev! They better NOT ruin him!!

@Red : Had he been pretending, he would have never been jealous of another guy coming closer to Veera, instead he would have been making thousand plans of impressing her and her family. But he kept on plotting against her and her family until Veera appealed to his consense and arouse the sweet guy he is. This is true love and yes eyes are the mirrors of your mind. They never lie.
