I thought of writing an OS on the current VEEBA situation.
After watching the SBS and SBB, and what Di said that she is talking all nonsense and meaningless things and not discussing the main topic, which is that she loves Baldev.
We know Nihal and Sahil are coming to India? So maybe while Veera is pondering on how to tell Baldev her feelings, Nihal and Ratan think of marrying Veera to Sahil?? She gets really desperate and calls Baldev. She tells him to meet her. Please note that this is my first OS in Hindi. I have never written anything in Hindi before. So apologies for any gramatical errors etc.
Here goes...
VEEBA meet at the site where the Agricultre school is going to be built! When they meet...it goes something like this.
V: Baldev...main bohot Badi problem main Hun.
B: Kya Hua hain Ab?? Teri Nihal Chachu ne tume aur koi "task" diya hain Kya??
V: Ha..Aysa hi kuch.. Bohot bada task dena Chatha hain wo. Nihal Chachu Meri Shadi Sahil se karana Chatha hain. Woh Biji aur Chaiji Se bhi Bath Kar chuka hun.
Baldev gets shocked hearing this, but he covers it up and cracks a joke.
B: Toh isme problem wali Bath Kya hain?? Tum Ha kardo!
V: Kya?? Ha karo?? Baldev... Main apni ithni Badi problem discuss kar ne tumhare pass ayi, Ek dost samajke. Lekin tuje har Bath Mazak lagtha hain.
B: Mazak Nahin Kar raha Hun main. Sahil se Shadi Karne Ke liye ha kehena Mazak kyun hoga? Aur waise bhi... Tumhe wo bohot acha lagtha hain Na?? Poland main Tum uske Sath, "date" par bhi chali gayi thi? Uss waqt Toh tumhe koi thaklif Na thi? Aab Shadi Ki bath agaya Toh gabarane lagi?? Kya Tum zindagi bar Date Peh chalthi rahogi??
V: Main us waqt date pe isiliye chali gayi thi kyon Ke...(she realised what she was about to admit, so she quickly changed the subject)...Baldev... Tumse Bath Karana hi Bekar hain. Toh tume such main lagtha Hain ke muje ha Kar dena chaiye??
B: Kyon Nahin? Agar Tum Na kehthi ho, Toh iske piche koi waja hona chahiye Na? Aur Sahil to tume bohot suit kartha hain. Woh bohot zimedar hain,(this was a dig at when she called him irresponsible), aur jab deko Teri thara Angrez main bath kartha rehetha hain...Jaise khi woh Karan tha. Lekin, uske thara woh Swarti Nahin hain. Ha... Woh Alag bath hain Ke main Poland meh use zyada pasand Nahin kartha tha. Lekin tum Toh usse pasand karthi ho Na?
Baldev was fishing to see what Veera's reaction is. He wanted to know if she would admit she likes Sahil. Much as it pained him to hear the response.
V: Ha.. Main use pasand karthi Hun...Lekin...
Baldev's face changed. So she DOES like him?? He schooled his expression quickly and gave a small smile.
B: Lekin Kya??...Ek bath samaj main Nahin atha...agar tum use pasand bhi karthi ho, Toh problem Kya hain??
V: Baldev main use pasand karthi Hun. Pyaar Nahin karthi. There is a big difference!!
B: Pyaar?? Tum Kab se Pyaar main Vishvas Karne lagi??
V: Kabse? Muje Nahin patha. Main Sirf yeh janthi Hun Ke, jo main Sahil Ke liye feel Kar rahi hu... Woh pyar Nahin hain.
B: Pyar Kya hota hain.. Tume Kaise patha hoga..jab tume Kabhi kisise pyar Nahin huwa tho?
V: Tume Kaise patha Ki muje Pyaar huwa ya Nahin?
B: Toh tume woh Nalayak Karan se sach main pyar tha? Mainu Toh aiysa Nahin laga tha??
V: Karan? Main Karan Ke bare main tori Na bath Kar rahi hu? Karan was just a crush. Woh Meri nadani thi, Ke main ne uss Lagav Ko Pyaar samajkar baitha tha! I was such a fool.
B: Wah Veera...Tum bhi kamal ho. Muje Nahin patha tha, Ki Tum Delhi main padayi se zyada... boyfriends main Dihan rak thi thi. Tume Karan se pyar Nahin tha, Na Sahil Ko.. Lekin tume pyar Ke bare main ithna sub kuch patha hain? Kayse?? Kitne Ashiq Te tumhare Delhi main??
V: Bakwas band karo Baldev...muje koi Ashiq Nahin thi. Tum Kya samaj Tha hain mere bare main?? Main janthi Hun, keh muje janam dene wali Biji, Ek Shadi shuda admi se rishta banayi thi..Lekin iska mathlab yeh Nahin, Ke main bhi aiysi harqat karungi. Aur woh Ek buri ladki Nahin thi. Use jaan lewa Bimari thi. Is liye unohne ithni Badi galthi Kar Di... Lekin main...
Baldev was shocked! Did she really think he was questioning her character??
B: Bas karo Veera... Tum Iss bath ko kaha sain kaha pohocharahi ho? Pagal hogayi Ho Ki? Main Mazak Kar raha tha. Main jantha hu Ke Tum Kaisi ladki hu. Main tumhe bohot achi Tara se jantha hu Veera. Tumhe achi thara samajtha hu. Koi bhi ladka tumhe pa kar apne ap Ko Kush kismat samje ga.
V: Sach main? Kya TUM bhi Aysa soche ga Baldev??
B: Main?? Iss bath main, main kaha se ane laga hu??
V: Answer the question Baldev. Jawab do...Kya TUM bhi muje pa Kar apne ap Ko Kush kismat samje ga??
B: Veera... Main yaha Teri madat Karne Aya hu. Teri Dus sawalon Ka Jawab dene Ke liye Nahin! Aur main Kya soch tha hu... Isme Tum Kabse dilchasbi rakne lagi?? Agar tumhare bath katham hogayi to main chalu?? Muje Kal sheher Jana hain. Toh jaldi uthna padega.
Baldev turned to leave and Veera steped in his way.
V: Tum Kya soch tha Hun...Iss meh main bohot dilchasbi rakthi hu Baldev..In fact.. Muje tumhare har bath se dilchasbi hain.
Baldev's heart skipped a beat hearing her words and seeing the expression in her eyes. But he had taken her feelings wrong once. He had thought she loved him and she didn't. He was not going to make the same mistake again. Once bitten twice shy. Unless Veera actually says in so many words that she LOVES him, he was never going to give himself permission to think she did! Not again... He thought. I will never be that fool again! So he did what he did best. He used sacrcasm to cover up his feelings.
B: Kya?? Kab se yeh chamathkar hogaya??
V: Yeh chamathkar Nahi. Haqeekat hai. Poland se. Krakow se, woh farmhouse se. Woh festival se... Mujebhi patha Nahin Ke kab se. Lekin bas ithna patha hain ke dilchasbi hain. Tumse bath karke bagair main Nahin rehe Sakthi hu. That's all I know.
B: Tum kehena Kya chati hu Veera? Saf saf batha. Main hamesha sidi bath kartha Hu, aur sidi bath samajtha hu. Muje yaad hain ke tumne Kya kaha tha. Muj Jaise Gair zimedar ladke se tume koi dilchasbi nahin hain. Aur main ne bhi woh sari bath bool chuka hu. Isiliye tumse dosti ki. Tum yeh be mathlab ki bathain wapas math dohora.
V: What do you mean Bematlab Ki bathain? Aur uss waqt jab main tume Gair zimedar bathaya tha, main tumhara woh roop nahin deki thi jo main Ab dekthi hu. Woh Baldev jo main ne Poland me deka tha.
B: Woh Baldev tum ne Poland main deka tha, aur woh Baldev Jise tum Gair zimedar samajtha tha, dono eki hain Veera. Sirf tume yeh dikayi Nahin diya.
V: Baldev...Tum samaj Nahin rahe ho...
B: Main bohot achi thara samaj tha hu Veera. Yeh bathe karkein koi faida nahin. Tume Sahil Ke Sath Shadi Nahin Karni hain to math Kar. Lekin pyar Nahin karana Shadi se mana Karne Ke liye achcha waja Nahin hotha. Iss desh main, balki poori duniya main, kitene log hoge, jo Bina Pyaar Ke shadi Ki? Aur woh Shadi safal bi huwi? Yeh pyar Mohobaat Sab maya hain. Iss seh door raho tho achcha hain. Dil tutne par Sirf dard Milta hain.
V: Toh Tum Kya kehena Chatha hu? Kya Kal Tum bi bina pyar Ke Shadi Ke liye thayaar hoga??
B: Joh ladki mere Biji mere liye pasand Karegi, koi gurantee toh Nahin hain Ke muje usse pyar ho jayega?? Aur yeh zaroori Nahin hain Ke Jise hum Chatein ho, woh Hume bhi chahe?
V: Agar Aysa huwa toh?? Agar woh ladki Jise Tum Chathain ho, woh tume bhi chaha toh???
B: Aysa Sirf kahaniyo main aur filmo main hota hain. Asli zindagi main aysa hamesha Nahi hota.
V: Shayad hamesha Nahin, Lekin khabi khabi Toh hotha hain.
B: Lekin muje inn bathopain vishwas ud chuka hain Veera... Ab muje Jana hain.
V: Nahin. Tum Nahin Ja saktain. Meri bath Abhi katham nahin Hua hain.
B: Sorry Veera. Humesha Teri bath Nahin chalthi. Mere liye yeh bath bohot pehele katham ho chuka Hu. Main Ja rahahun.
Baldev started to walk away, when Veera held his hand.
V: Mat Jao Baldev! Please... Meri bath suno...
Baldev got angry. She is not saying what he wanted to hear and she was just talking in circles!
B: Kya hain? (He shouted). Kya hain Veera? Tum kehena Kya chathi ho? Mere waqt barbaad mat Kar! Saf saf batha Tume kya kehena hain??
V:Main Sirf yeh kehena chathi thi ke main bohot confused hu. Main Sahil se Shadi Nahin Karna chathi. Shayad main Shadi Ke liye ready Nahin no.
B: Shadi Ke liye thayaar Nahin, ya SAHIL se Shadi karne Ke liye thaiyyar nahin? Dono main bohot farq hota hain Veera!
V: I don't know... Main bohot con...
B: Confused hu? Yeh kehena chathi ho Na?? Toh main Teri confusion Ko door kartha hu. Sahil se Shadi karo. Aur mat socho. Tumhare parivaar bhi Yehi Chatha hai.
It pained him to say it, but it was clear she was not going to admit she felt anything for him. Maybe she DIDNT feel anything for him? Maybe he was once again misreading the situation. He just could not go down that path again. It hurt like hell, but he had to let this go! If she didn't love him...then what was the point?? There was no value in hoping that she would feel what he feels. He had thought he had killed all his romantic feelings towards her. But he had been deluded. She was the one. He will never fall in love again! He was sure of it. The truth was... He didn't think he ever could.
V: Lekin main yeh Nahin Chathi hu?? Uska Kya?
B: Toh Kya chathi ho Tum?? Kyon Nahin Karna chathi Sahil se Shadi?? Mat batha Ke Tum Shadi Ke liye ready Nahi ho. Muje Asli waja batha...
V: Tum samaj kyon Nahin rahe ho Baldev...Kyon Ki...main Kisi aur Ko chati hu!
B: Kis se??
Two small words...but it held the weight of the world for Baldev. On those two words hung his whole world. Whoever she names... It was too late to back out now. The question was asked. The answer will come, whether he liked it or not.
V: Poland se wapas ane Ke Baad...main tumhari khayal apne Dil aur dimaag se nahin Nikal pa rahi hu Baldev...
B: Veera... Tume patha hain Ke Tum Kya keherahi ho?
V: Ha...Muje patha hain. Muje Sirf Tum chahiye Baldev. Sirf Tum.
Baldev stepped forward and pulled Veera into his arms.
B: Toh Phir batha do. Batha do Ke Tume Sirf main Kyon chaiye ho. Muje woh lavs sun Na hain Veera.
Being in his arms, Veera could barely think straight. Since Poland, everytime she was close to Baldev she could barley breath. She felt like her whole being was buzzing with energy. Her cheeks were flushed. Her pupils dilated. She didn't know what was happening to her. OMG...Veera thought. I am turned on!! She smiled quietly, and looked down to hide her confusion.
B: Tum Kis bath par has Rahin ho?? Tume yeh Sab Mazak lagtha hain??
Hearing his words, she forgot her confusion and her giddiness at his closeness. How dare he think she was finding this funny? Here she was going crazy for him and he...
V: Mazak?? Main Mazak Kar rahi hu? Main tumhari Pyaar main Pagal ho rahi Hun, aur thum soch rahe ho Ke main Mazak Kar rahi hu? Mazak mere saath huwa hain. Main meri sabse Badi dushman sain pyar Kar Bethi hu. Isse bada Mazak aur Kya ho sakta hai??
B: Main Teri dushman hu?
V: Aur Nahi to Kya?? Tum Bachpan se leke Aaj tak muje torture kartha Aya hu. Maine kabi Nahin socha ke muje tumse pyar ho jayega...main humesha se...
Baldev pulled her closer to him and put his index finger on her lips!!
B: Chup karo. Bilkul chup.
Veera looked up at him and her eyes grew wide!
B: Aur jab main Meri ungali hata tha hu...muje Sirf theen lavs sun Na hain...bathaogi??
Veera blushed. She was all flustered. She knew what he wanted to hear...he took his finger off her lips...
B: Ab batha do.
Veera leaned forward and hugged Baldev. She hid her face in his neck and mumbled...
V: Muje Sharm athi hain...
Baldev held her away from him and laughed!!
B: Tume Sharm athi hain... Veera Ko? Meri Sherni Ko??
Veera nodded her head.
B: Deko... Agar Tum Nahin kahogi... to mere jaan Nikal jayegi...
It was Veera's turn to put her finger on his lips.
V: I...love...you!! I love you Baldev. Sirf tumse pyar karthi hu main. Aur humesha Sirf tumi Ko pyar karthi rahungi. Ab Kush??
B: Main Kitna Kush hu, main tume Kabhi Nahin kehe paungi Veera. Muje aisa lagatha hain Ke main yeh lavs sun ne Ke liye humesha se intezar Kar raha hu...main tumse bohot pyar kartha hu. Tum Meri jaan ho Veera. Muje bi Sirf Tum chahiye...Kya Tum mujse Shadi Karogi??
V: Yes... Yes... Yes!!
Baldev lifted Veera off the floor and spun her around!!
B: Meri Sherni...I love you!!
