Friends, Yesterday's episode was yet another treat for us. Loved almost everything about it. The New montage may be common, but it is the perfect reflection of the VeeBa relationship and how their love story is going to be. Though out their lives there will be knoch-jhock, but with every incident their bonding will become more stronger. Their is just one thing about the episode I don't like. Baldev has always been shown as a man who has lots of respect for women. It's an open secret that he drinks a lot, but I have never seen him drinking in front of women. Apart from the Holi festival he never came in front of Veera in drunk condition. His character is going through a transformation now and he is there only to take care of Veera. In stead of showing him having that drink in the flight, they should have shown first he was tempted to have a drink and then took a look a Veera and Backed off. That would have been far more suitable to his character and the present scenario. Please friend share your views.

I want him to stop drinking after he falls in love with Veera for her

That would be amazing to watch. Tab tak enjoy this badmaash Ballu 😆

I agree with a lot of your observations. But I don't think stoping drinking just coz he was with Veera would have been a realistic potrayal.

Actually it was a good thing he did drink. Because it showed that he was not holding back from being himself in front of her! He likes to have a drink and he did it. He didn't get drunk. That would have been a different story altogether. That may have reflected a lack of respect for the women he was with. But in this case, the guy had a drink and that was it. Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. It was very much IN character!

Hopefully he will only drink in moderation once Veear is a permanent part of his life!!

I got what you want to say feck...but let me take it in a different aspect...

Of course..we all know that there are lots and lots of changes in their relaitonship
after that holi episodes..Now Baldev consider Veera as a friend for whom he can do
anything. And friends are those people infront of whom we can be in our own self,
completely. And we can't deny that deep down he still loves her ,
eventhough he doesn't realise it now and tries to coverup his concern for her
with his attitude. So I think he is not at all cautious about his behaviour before her...
And I still believe he wont do all these if Ratan or Chaiji was in Veera's place or may be
even before his beeji..
And about his respect for women...its always there dear..
Didn't you notice how he wanted to help that girl in the last scene..
It was purely out of concern and nothing else...
And the way he was enjoying in a new place,its his basic naughty nature..
He can be like this only, because he is BALDEV... 😉

I feel the same way, as good as that would have been, it would have been out of character. Baldev cannot be shown doing a 180 so soon, it needs to be a gradual change and honestly I am enjoying this side to him. I love when he kept telling the lady to pour more 😆

Very true! He knows his limits, he took a drink to calm his nerves and relax but he made sure not to get drunk because he knows he has responsibilities.

As for whether he would continue to drink after he and Veera officially become a couple, its possible because I do see him making some serious changes to his life in order to get his love. Baldev is going to want to have all the qualities Veera's family looks for in her future husband.

Baldev is a Sher, Woh saamne se war karega, In his words. So he's never hidden anything about him. He respects women a lot, but that doesn't mean he will hide the real self in front of Veera! He hasn't drunk before her, but he has always talked about him drinking, remember when he said that they can make Ranvi drink for the first time since Veera asked him for tedasa ideas😆 . This is the real Ballu, the Sher! And his Sherni will fall in love with him inspite of all this, coz his love is so pure and true, just like his pure innocent heart!😳

Very true. May be that would have been a drastic change in his character. Thanks to every one for sharing your views
