Baldev Singh- The name itself invokes a sense of curiosity in you. Like his name there is a child in him (Bal), there is something divine in him (Dev) and obviously the epitome of happiness and cheerfulness (Singh).

What attracts us mostly to this character is this wonderful blend of being innocent, cute, naughty, angry, clever,idiotic, intense and hot (Intense & Hot added as suggested by Sina 😉) all at that same time. He is the perfect recipe for our smiles. For me he is "The God of Small Things!!!"

CVs did a wonderful job today by showing little things!!! I loved how Baldev did not leave a chance to have his "Daaru", he had his Patiala Peg!!! He was very much in character there!!! Then after landing in Poland he was ogling at the girls in skimpy clothers and can we ever imagine Baldev without his "lafengebaazi"!!! Then his selfie moments were special too, total "nautanki" as he is!!!

Veera pulling Baldev from the girl was an awww moment!!!! It was a treat to watch absolutely!!! It showed how Veera unknowingly exercised her "haq" on Baldev always!!! Then Baldev scaring Veera by peeping from the severed head statue in Krakow main square was totally hilarious and we cannot take our eyes off "mastikhor" Baldev!!!

Finally the icing on the cake was how Baldev sensed the pain of that stranger girl in Red!!! Loved his dialogue, when two people are connected there is no real need for language!!! Baldev I must tell, you have truly understood the depth and meaning of love!!! I loved his "aashiqaana" andaaz and our "aashiq" Baldev!!!

Hes like cute kid roming arpunding wondring around .taking selifies woth ladies he such joyful person.
Veera had to hold his hand to stop him from running away 🤗
There kid inside him who inncoent as well as brat.
He knows how to flirt with kudies firagi kudies

Yes Veera holding his hand and dragging him along was nice!!! He follows her like a kid and Veera knows the trick to handle Baldev nicely. She is truly a masterni in that subject called "Baldev"

good post siya and i couldnt agree more with you,he is truely the heart,soul and life of this show.the beauty of his character is that he has no real expectations in life,he sees happiness in the smallest of things and lives life as it comes and seeks only the joy and happiness in it and that is why we dont see him depressed or grieving over anything for too long,not when balwant taunts,insults and slaps him infront of a crowd,not when veera plays with his feelings and breaks his heart and not when he lost the elections,he lets out all his negative emotions,sadness,pain,anger then and there and uses them as a driving force and moves on in life.he does not let anything bring him down.he is truely the shining example of the saying "happiness is a choice"baldev chooses to be happy and live life like there is no tomorrow and this is by far one of the most admirable qualities in him😳

Baldev is a full on MAAST guy! He is just fun to watch, and fun to be around. He drinks, he ogles at cute girls and flirts with them. He wants to explore new things. He is afraid of flying, but still tries to act macho and pretend he is not!!

But with all this, he has a caring and loving side, and is a true friend. He is also a DILWALA. After all, he feels the pain of Ferangi Kudhi in short red dress! Lol. He is the whole package. Watching the two of them today was just surreal! They were so adorable together. Just getting lost, going from pillar to post and not finding a person to speak in English to!!

Highlights of the day for me were when Baldev came out of that head and scared Veera, and she said "Bahar Nikal" to him! That was a very natural moment. Also, I liked how Ballu was taking selfies with the Gori girls!! :)But the most telling moment was when he said "Tenu Khabhi kisise Pyaar Nahin huwa Na"?? That was amazing. Just the right amount of feeling and intensity was injected into an otherwise light hearted set of moments between VEEBA.

Both Di and Vishal were totally in character. Loved it!! Also... Ratan missing her daughter ha? Good touch.

@Zainu I could not agree more dear!!! "Happiness is a choice", perfectly fits Ballu!!! He can never be this depressed, gloomy person!!! He is and will be the only character onscreen with whom I fell in love!!!

@MrDarcyfan Absolutely that "Bahar Nikal" was a perfectly natural moment!!! By the way I always find their moments quite natural!!! And Ratan calling Veera as you noted was also a real moment!!!

@Sina Intense and hot yup noted and edited!!! I deliberately missed it lol so that my hubby dearest would stop rolling his eyes at Ballu 😆!!!!
