Almost every individual in pp has suffered and gone hardships because they've been deprived of someones love. Ratan lost her husband, (she miscarried too I think?) And her son to some extent too. Ranvi had to grow up quicker than most other children his age, he lost his father at a very young age and was brought up by a lone parent! Veera! Has been deprived of a mothers love and a fathers love, she's struggled with Ratan's rejection all her life! She genuinely thought Ratan was her own mother and even at a young age sensed that Ratan was discriminating between her and Ranvi.

Baldev has grown up w/o a father's love and guidance. Balwant has always doted on Gunjan. It ia not enough to justify Gunjan's character on the basis that her mother's neglected her! Almost every character in Veera has gone through hardships but they don't behave like she does.

Exactly my point! Everyone has an axe to grind! But how come all of them have not turned into manipulative and jealous people like Gunjan? How come they are not irrational and spiteful all the time? How come THEY don't always seek to be the centre of attention?

So why it is that it is OK for Gunjan to be that way, just coz Bansuri was a bad mother? This is NOT a justification anymore. You can use it a few times maybe. But you can't have a character act like a total loser on a daily basis, and just keep going back and playing the "MUMMY" card!! Makes no sense!!

More than half the people in this world would have gone through some sort of neglect or been unloved by someone. If that is the case, then everyone will just justify themselves for ANY behaviour by saying "So and so didn't love me"!! I hate people who act like "Victims" all the time and NEVER take responsibly for their own actions ever! Who always blame others for everything that is wrong in their lives!!

It is a classic case of playing the victim card and trying to gain sympathy. That way YOU never have to take responsibility for anything. This is why I dislike Gunjan. She never takes responsibility for anything that has gone wrong in her life. All the wrong choices she has made and continue to make. It is always someone else's fault!! I can't sympathise with that!!

Yeah it was SO great thanks to Gunjan. I had a headache at the end of it! She is a sick twisted female!! She should have discussed her frustration with her HUSBAND. Not had a meltdown and acted like a Psycho in front of the whole family? You think this is right way to behave with your husband's family?If I had a concern that related to my husband, I would discuss it with him first!! Not go and shout in front of his whole family!!

This is actually mostly Ranvi's fault anyway. He is the one who never seems to realise that Gunjan wants All his attention all day long. He has no idea how insecure and jealous she is. How possessive and spiteful she is! He married her and brought her to his house, not even knowing what she is really like!! How jealous she is of Veera and her success. How much she hates her!!

So this is all Ranvi's fault. If Gunjan was a proper women and not a spiteful witch, she would have spoken to Ranvi about her concerns!! But NO. She had to go and accuse Veera and create a huge drama! That is why I say, she dosent love Ranvi, and this is not even about him. This is about how Jealous she is of Veera and her achievements! When she finds out Baldev loves Veera... She will be beside herself with jealousy!!

But I guess some of you are SO blinded by your love for RANJAN that you can't see that Gunjan is a pathetic loser!!

I completely agree with u! I get really frustrated b/c Veera interferes way too much! She think it's all abt her! I agree with Gunjan that Veera needs to understand that she's not the only important person in Ranvi's life!

Actually it is GUNJAN who needs to understand that just coz Ranvi married her, that dosent make HER the only important person in HIS life!! She is such a hypocrite. She is accusing Veera of wanting to be important to Ranvi, when the truth is that is EXACTLY what she wants!!

I don't think Veera EVER wanted to be the only important person to Ranvi. But Gunjan does. She is ADDICTED to the love and attention she gets from Ranvi and she wants him all to herself!! Otherwise, what sane person plans a whole SECRET party for her husband at the same time when she know his family are planning one for him too?? Didn't you see the same episode?? Gujnan was interested in competing with Veera? She even thought to herself "do whatever you want Veera, Ranvi will like MY surprise better"!!

Veera and the family didn't even KNOW she was planning anything!! So her anger is totally Unjustified! Gunjan is the one with the problem. Not Veera! Veera was in Ranvi's life all her life. She dosent have any idea what a psychotic bimbo her sister in law is!! How spiteful she is! She had no idea of how jealous and insecure she is. Ungrateful too! She has forgotten that it is thanks to VEERA that she is in that house!! Ranvi was ready to let her walk away!!

Gunjan deserves a slap!! That is what she deserves!!

enough has been said already but still i'll say my point...
i don't understand how anyone can defend Gunjan..
i mean she acted like a complete psycho in yesterday's episode...breaking things, shouting on top of her voice...wth! just because her husband attended his sisters party and not hers? was it some sort of competition or question of life? i would understand her behavior if Veera were Ranvi's GIRLFRIEND and whole family supported Veera...
she was completely wrong IMO and needed a slap at the least for her irrational behavior...
