Veera and the rest of the family wanted to do something for Ranvi's birthday there is nothing wrong with that. What would have been wrong was if they had left Gunjan out but they did not do so. Ratan asked her to come along and help but Gunjan had her plans that did not include them, so how was it wrong on Veera's part? Just because Ranvi is married does not mean he has to cut ties with his family especially when all they wanted to do was celebrate his birthday, I do not think that was asking much. Gunjan could have easily had her surprise for Ranvi later, just the two of them but no she wanted him all to herself and completely ignored the fact his family had something planned. Gunjan has made herself the outsider, she has let her jealousy and insecurity get the best of her
