Its high time they cut the monotony on this show...we're back to Tom & Jerry again post the election results...quite literally now with the upcoming rodent-inspired track 😕 For one, I wished to see AYM Baldev breaking a few more things in his rage (Balwant's head for a start 😡)...and then languishing in his room plotting evil deeds to make even Bakhi proud! Instead...we're getting rats 🥱 And then to add to insult, we'll be getting an all-seeing-all-knowing Veera finding it out, possibly insulting and aggravating him more with some more bhashan 🤢 Honestly, where is this story heading??
We desperately need progression in Baldev's character...it would have been brilliant if after his epic election defeat, he used his rage and desperation together with his considerable brains and wit constructively...doing something that would blow everyone away and outshine the likes of Veera, Ratan and even perhaps Lord Almighty Ranvi!

Imagine if Ballu becomes a force to reckon with in the pind, doing something unimaginable...perhaps he could do some business with that Ahuja person and actually strike gold leaving everyone dumbstruck...maybe even build that cinema of his!! Basically, do something to shut up all his detractors and especially Veera, who needs to eat back her own words! Gawd...I would be so thrilled if that happened, and especially if this track was also the one where Ballu begins to royally ignore Veera and her entire family and just goes about doing his own thing and climbing every single step on that ladder!! I cannot see any other way for Baldev's character to earn that much needed respect in the show 😃

Baldev choosing the wrong path didn't come as a surprise tbh! Baldev had this one dream from his childhood.. It was shattered in front of his eyes.. He was angry and hurt.. He didn't have anyone except Bansuri to guide him after this loss.. And jaisi woh hai waisa hi Baldev ban gaya!

I hope there is a proper redemption track for Baldev.. And I wish after the redemption track everything that you have said about him outshining SS parivaar comes true ! 😃

It was a hard hit for him...but it seemed he was far too quick to get back to his cheeky bad boy tricks. This is really the CVs' fault...in rushing with the cat-and-mouse games, they forgot that to have your life-long ambition shattered in front of your eyes, it takes more than one afternoon's furniture bashing to get back to any form of reality! I mean just look at Gunjan...she practically went unhinged after her 'phoren jaane ka sapna' broke...she turned from a positive to a dire, hate-consumed vamp! So I feel they rushed it with Ballu's track.

And Bansuri is of course going to brainwash him further now...we can all rely on her for that 😡 So with her there, any form of redemption track looks futile as of now...Balwant partying at Ratan's place and Veera gloating at their win is of course not helping matters!

But really, my hope remains that Ballu proves himself somehow...tbh if he doesn't, I really don't see how Veera or her family will consent to their marriage...that point was true in that stupid little '3 challenges' track...Baldev needs to earn his own living for him to be considered a suitable match for Veera...and until that happens, we can at best watch VeeBa tashan (not that I'm complaining about that 😳) but possibly nothing further

There is NO respect between them...I would've thought that despite her present prejudices against him, Veera would have remembered all those times when he genuinely helped her out, her brother, the pind...but nope, nothing...its as if all of those things were done by a different person. Can you be so preachy and a do-good-er and yet be so prejudiced that you can't see past the rough surface? 😭

The present track is just like the old arch-enemy wala tashan...despite all the waters that have flown underneath the bridge...wish there was a bit more layering to the relationship now...

Good post.
I agree with some points.. but for Baldev to learn from his mistakes & to take his defeat as a strength.. who is there with him to bring him back on right path?? He listens only his frnds & his mother... But they r of no help in this matter??

Now I see only one person who can help him to move on and that's Ranvi.
Remember the chori scene where Baldev was all set to bit that servant.. it was only Ranvi who calmed him down. So can I hope for another Randev??

Yes, Ranvi is a good choice...waise bhi he his mahaan and helping others will suit his nature. Also, he has currently not much to do other than romance Gunjan 😆 And all the rest of them are too busy pulling Ballu down to even try to help him...toh jeejaji is the best option! He was the only one, barring Bansuri, who was trying to stand up for Ballu during the elections and he also didn't take Ballu's name even though he suspects him of instigating the fight...so good choice 👏

I agree we are back to square one but with a difference. Now they have to fight their feelings as well. Though I am not sure about Veera, Baldev has to fight his feelings. Baldev has considerable brains but I guess he is currently on revenge mode so you can never expect any constructive ideas popping up his head. I believe though he is quite witty he lacks the evil mindedness which is characteristic of people like Bakhi. He can never actually physically hurt anyone and the most evil ways he can come up with is destroying the suits with the help of rats. So basically you can never expect him to outshine SS or for that matter Bakhi (he is far behind SS in the evil department). He had extended his boundaries to win the elections but I feel that extension also has a limit. He is not an out n out negative character. I like your constructive plans.😆 Even I would love if he did something that would prove the whole SS family that he is not worthless and shut up their big mouths. But I feel he cannot focus on these now. He is hurt and currently his focus is to get back his dream post and for that he is brainwashing the villagers and taking advantage of their MCP beliefs. He would surely do something in future to prove his worth but I think that may be a future track after they fall in love and the whole family objects to it and to prove them wrong he does something amazing as you described above. And on your point of ignoring Veera, I don't feel he will ever be able to ignore her though he is hurt. The Sarparnch track showed us his overconfidence so the loss was much needed to make his character progression. Firstly he has to change his MCP attitude. So I believe there is something in this track which will make him change his MCP attitude(though it seems a far cry now) otherwise Veera will never fall for him. So lets wait for that "something big" which will change the equation between them. I am sure the CV's will show some progress by the next week.🤔
